Not in pse my videos will preview when i double click but they do so in windows media player. How do i get quicktime to work in pse? In pse i get a notice that some files are not assigned to quicktime. It says do i want to assign them to quicktime and i say yes.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOrganizer has stopped working for me. When I try to launch it, the "credits" screen flashes briefly, but then nothing is displayed. If I try an option, like "Get Photos and Videos," then nothing happens, and all the options become grayed out. I just upgraded from PSE 10 to 11, and I created a new catalog. The organizer was working fine last night, but not today.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a mac with the latest version of Snow Leopard. Since yesterday, when I upload photos to Organizer, the image thumbnails do not generate at a small thumbnail size. Each image has an hour glass on it but the thumbnails of the images do not generate. Thumbnails of images will only generate when I zoom into 1, 2, or 3 images in the oragnizer catalog window. When I want to zoom out to have more thumbnails appear in my catalog window, an hour glass appears again on each thumbnail. This problem only occurs with the images that I have uploaded or edited with PSE since yesterday.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had IT install our network version of IV 2012. That seemed to install flawlessly. I still have IV 2011 on my machine IV 2011 and will be running it for the time being.
My problem is when I try to get the iProperties I get this error. "Plugin not available or not properly installed. Notify the System Administrator that the installation is incomplete. DTCP"
We tried to repair/reinstall 2011 and then removed it and reinstalled, to no avail. I have not tried 2012 yet, as all our files need to be migrated to 2012.
So I just started at a new firm and they are using datalinks for the attic vent calculations. The table is in Excel and once filled out it should populate in the drawing. My CPU was an old employee's so it isn't new installed software but my datalink button says that Excel is not installed properly and will not let me edit the datalink in Autocad. I can however open the Excel file from the reference manager just fine and it opens. I have tried hard pathing and softpathing with no luck. Other people can insert it for me which they did in one file but I want to be operating at 100% like they are.

View 24 Replies View RelatedWe hit save and everything appears as though it is saving, only to find out after we've closed out the file that it hasn't been saved. Or portions of the work we did were saved but not the entirety, and out of chronological order. Though we are connected to a series of networked servers, we do all of our work locally and save locally before copying the files back to the server. This has affected 5 people so far and started occurring within the last two weeks. We've been doing this sort of work for over 4 years here and never encountered this problem.
We're pretty desperate to see if there's some sort of answer. So far our only solution is to keep saving the file in different locations on our system with different names, just in case.
We are all running on Mac OSX Lion 10.7.3 and Photoshop CS5 12.0.4.
How do I transfer the entire organizer of Elements 9 to the empty organizer in Elements 12? By the way, Elements 9 is so defective, it will not even let me back up my organizer in 9. The 9 organizer would let me select a photo, bring it into the editor, print it and then it would crash... then I had to start all over again... the darn thing crashes as it was prone to problems that adobe ignored. Is it better to just re-load all the photos from a fresh folder that is on my desktop? There are 5,000 !

It always finds them, frequently the same, imports them and then tells me they're already in the Organizer. During this process, which may last 5-15 minutes, I can't use the program.

If I attempt to crop a portrait format photo e.g. 2009px x 3034px to 1920 x 2400, the crop frame for the width falls outside the photo. Cropping a landscape photo works correctly but the problem persists even if the portrait photo is rotated to 'landscape'.If I crop the same portrait photo on an XP system, there is no problem.

I have a number of files of type MTS which I understand to be AVCHD and are imported from my Panasonic Lumix TZ20 camera which captures HD video. These files will not play in the Organizer, resulting in a message stating the required Codec is missing. However, when the same file is sent to Premiere Elements for Editingand agreeing to a message to have Premiere set the correct properties for the media type it plays perfectly. What am I do wrong? Are there any settings I need to change to have Organizer also play the file successfully?
