Does Photoshop Elements 10 limit the number of styles that can be installed at one time? I can't seem to load in any more than I already have. If so, how to I have access to others? There doesn't seem to be a place where I can load new styles like you can with brushes.

I do this because I like to experiment with a lot of styles during the creative process and prefer to have them quickly available. When I click the panel menu icon in the Styles panel, the list of available styles fills my screen. However, not all of the installed styles appear.
• Is this a bug?
• Is there a technical limit to the number of styles that can be loaded at any one time?
• How does Photoshop decide which styles to show if it doesn't show all installed styles?
• Does where the styles are installed (program presets folder vs. user appdata folders) make a difference?
• Is there any way to scroll the list of styles when there are too many to display in the pop-up window?
The computer I use (a work laptop) is running Photoshop CS 6 and Windows Home Premium x64. It has a 3td gen. Core i7 processor with 8gb of RAM and a dedicated video card.
I installed my photoshop brushes in the gimp brush folder, almost 2.0 GB of Brushes. Now GIMP crashes.
GLib-ERROR gmem.c:165 failed to allocate
And shuts down with a run time error.How do I get around this and is there a limit on the number of brushes that GIMP can handle?
I've got a large job and Object Isolate has been good for our drawing prodeuction but now we're running into some glitches on a regular basis the last few weeks.
1st Undo is being disabled. Thia really only started since we've begun plotting drawings and Isolating objects.
2nd We can't isolate everything. Is there a limit to the number of objects that can be isolated? or anything that controls that?
I wish to limit the user input of and edittext to only allow a positive number, float or int. I do not yet know my Regex good enough to do this. I realize that I must get better at regex but in the meantime how to do this ?

I got CS4 Masters Collection about 3 years ago when I was still using a Power PC G5 Mac. Since then, I've upgraded my setup with Intel machines. I'd like to use Adobe Premiere Pro on my Mac Book Pro, as I cannot run it on my G5. I found a download link on Adobe's servers for the old Adobe Premiere CS4 trial, and I downloaded it. Since it isn't installed on the G5, I should be able to use it on my Intel machine, right?
So I went into System Info on one of the other CS4 apps installed on my G5, and found the serial code, but it was shortened to 20 characters, when the registration requires 24. How can I find the last 4 characters so I can activate Premiere? I found a guide, but it only works for PC's.
I am taking editing classes at a community college, which only has CS6. I have CC at home. From all the discussions I've read about non-backward compatability (which does suck btw), I'm thinking I should also have CS6 on my computer. Found CS6 (digital and CD version) on Amazon.

No one knew how to restore them here so I did them all over again and saved 3 sets at 2gigs each. Now every single time I open Photoshop I don't have any layer styles and have to load them. I updated just now from CS5 to CS6 and the same thing.. I have opened and closed CS6 4x now and each time all my layer styles vanish upon opening.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI need to have symbolized linestyles on a number of 3D polylines in mapping data.We normally would simply explode the 3D poly's, and our linestyles display fine.
The linestyles also display fine if we change the 3D polylines to polylines.HOWEVER, with the current dataset we have very high point density on our 3D polylines, and we need to preserve the elevation attributes of the lines.
If we explode the lines we end up with so many tiny segments that they will not display the linestyles - changing the linetype scale eventually will show the style, but at far too small a size to be relevant.
We also, in most of the layers, are not able to change the 3D polylines to polylines - we must preserve the 3D attributes of the lines.So the problem is that we can't explode the 3D polylines, and we can't flatten them either, but we want the linestyles to display.We are using Map3D primarily, but can access C3D if a solution is available there.
The precise scenario is for instance a line which is a top of embankment, but which has points at around 30cm intervals, over a line length of 206m. This particular dataset has several hundred lines like this, and the linestyle we are trying to display is a simple set of repeating ticks off one side of the line.
We are experimenting with weeding the points, but the shape of the lines is being considerably downgraded by this process.at this point we are most likely going to have to present this data without linestyles for these features - not our first choice.

I want to organise my .jpgs (.gifs etc.), but not my .pdfs, or several others.
I have 17,900 photos and videos in a directory structure organized by date (folders for year, with sub folders for month, day etc). Recently, Organizer refuses to display newly added folders in the folder tree. That is, I create the new folder, and rename with a date, at which point it vanishes from the display. It still appears in Microsoft Explorer. It looks like there is some limit on the number of folders you can have in Organizer, but surely that is absurd?
I have a new Windows 7 PC, running on a home network (total 3 PCs). All have (legal) copies of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements. Files are stored on a NAS in a shared directory.
I've got hold of some Welding glass to use as an ND filter on my Fuji HS20. It arrived today and works a treat. I do however now have a new issue that this has caused. I've set a custom white balance on the camera to counter act the tint from the glass. This now produces the correct colour on my jpg photo's however the RAW files have the wrong colour tint. When I open them in photoshop elements 11 I get the CAMERA RAW application. The white balance is set to 'AS SHOT' however the Tint is at +150. I'm guessing my problem is that the tint needs to be more than +150 and CAMERA RAW is limiting it. Does this mean I am now limited to using JPG's when I use this glass as an ND filter, or is there a way I can get rid of this limit to the tint on the white balance
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm perfectly happy with the TrueType font (BankGothic Md BT), but all the style settings change to the T1 equivalent every time I close, and when I open the file again the T1 text does not show up. I can go through and reset all the styles, then re-apply them, but it wastes a lot of time.
