I'm perfectly happy with the TrueType font (BankGothic Md BT), but all the style settings change to the T1 equivalent every time I close, and when I open the file again the T1 text does not show up. I can go through and reset all the styles, then re-apply them, but it wastes a lot of time.

View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen I try to change the font in corel draw x4, the text disappears, this happens with new documents, old documents etc.
It works in Photo Paint, but for some reason draw has stopped working. I restarted and tried everything I could think of!!! This seemed to happen after the latest windows 7 update.
Also on a sidenote is it possible to get rid of the ads when i start up Draw and PP x4? It keeps hassling me to upgrade. It is really really annoying... seriously I bought this product, why does it have pop up ads???

Now, how do you change the font for all the text to Arial Black?Now, try to change the font for all the text in the text object to Arial Black.
It is possible for me to change the font for the entire text to any other font, except the font that is used for the first line.
Even if just a single word is typed, and you change the font for just the first character in the word, you then cannot change the word's font, to the font which you used for just the first character.

Every time when i open a .cdr, coreldraw open the file in same file that i have been open before.
How i can make coreldraw to open files into new files not into opened ones ?
How I get an automatically opened PDF file just after saving it? In the PDF settings in CorelDraw X5 there seems to be no option for this.
View 4 Replies View RelatedProblem with text styles: I have a big body of text, with several styles applied. The problem is, editing one of the styles does not affect the text that has this style applied to it. Changing the style or creating a new style does not work - it's like these particular parts of text are immune to editing the style. It works only when I select the text and manually apply the style. Further editing the style does not affect this text, I have to manually select it and apply the style again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am doing a menu for a client and it seems that every time I put a specific font size such as 10pt. in a text frame..it changes to a size 11.3245pt. every time I open the file back up to work on it again.
How do I prevent this? Or is there something I am doing wrong in the text frame?
We are trying to convert some text to a Hindi font a translator sent us. It is installed correctly on PC and shows up in Corel X5. When you convert it, it says it is the correct font in object mangar but appears a row of boxes? The font is Kruti Dev 010.

How can I change the default point size of the numbers that the dimensioning tool generates? Right now it is defaulted at 24 pt. and i have to manually select and change to 10 pt all through my drawings.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was wondering why Batang and Arial were appearing in the Fonts under Document Properties when I had not actively used them in my "New" document.
When I looked at the Default text files, I believe I see the reason. I find Batang listed as the default Asian Text font for both Artistic and Paragragh Text. The options for Asian Text don't seem to include any fonts that I have on the old machines.
Similarly, the Middle East Default Text style would seem to generate the Arial(Arabic) entry in the required fonts.
Is there a way to completely eliminate the default Asian Text and Middle East entries from the default text styles?
How would I go about changing the font of a text through all pages? I've used Find/Replace tool but it stops on one page.

I have three lines of text, the first line of which has a font size of 20 pt, and the second and third lines having a font size of 13 pt. The default leading is greater between the first and second lines than between the second and third -- probably due to the font size difference. I would like to make the leading equal for all lines, regardless of font size, but can't figure out how to do that. "Format Text - Spacing - Lines" seems to offer leading only in relation to character height -- which automatically makes the leading between the first and second line larger (due to the larger font size used in the first line) than it is between the subsequent lines.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am new to CorelDRAW. I am using it to generate scientific application notes that contain both graphics and text. I am running into a problem where I have a negative number that is close to the end of a text line (using justified format). CorelDRAW wants to treat the negative like a hyphen and keep the "-" on one line and then moves the number to the next line. For example, if the phrase "...cooling to -150 C for 5 minutes..." were to wrap across a line, it would look like:
"...cooling to -
150 C for 5 minutes..."
Instead of:
"...cooling to
-150 C for 5 minutes..."
The only way I can figure out how to get past it is to change the width of the text box so the lines wrap in different places. I have tried adding a space or two, adding hidden text (text with the same color as the background).
We used to use version 4 at work and loads of images drawn, my boss has converted to version 12 but when we open the drawings now all the text is in the wrong place and too big etc.
I have been given the task of fixing them all and wondered if there was an easy fix rather than clicking on each text box and changing each bit one by one, sitting with my fingers crossed.
I know I can use the shortcut Shift F3 to bring up the Change Case Menu.
Is there a way to just highlight the text and press a shortcut or macro to change directly to UpperCase?
When making numbers for the side of a race car for example, you want both the numbers to angle (lean) towards the back of the car. So on the left side of the car, the number is leaning to the right, and on the right side of the car the number is leaning left. How do you change the text to get the number to lean the way you want it too?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI jumped from using Windows XP with CorelDraw 11 to Windows 7 with CorelDraw 16, and ever since then, I have been having problems with colors changing in my PDF files. Before I send the file, I open it in Adobe Acrobat Pro to make sure the colors look correct, and they look fine..., but the person who is receiving the PDF tells me that when they open up the file, the colors change (usually to black), or nothing appears at all. What is up with this? I use Pantone Solid Coated colors in my PDF files because that is what we use to match our silk screening inks.
View 14 Replies View Related I've upgraded to CorelDraw X6 but I need the files I make to be openable in Coreldraw 10. When saving I use the drop down box and choose the option for 10 and if they are opened again in X6 before they are opened in 10 they are fine, but when these files are opened in 10 they crash and the file gets wiped (when opened again it's just a blank page).
A not so obvious box that needs ticking? An option I have missed somewhere?
Is it because the version i have is 64bit? Or is it just not possible to downsave files properly anymore, is 10 just too old now?

I have attached a free macro to change the text color of cells in a table. Without the macro there is currently no way to select more than one cell and change the text color.
The macro allows the user to either:
click on a table (to select it) and then apply a new color to ALL text in the table; or choose a new color from the macro from, select some cells in a table and then apply that color to the text in those selected cells
Please note in step 2 it is important you choose the new color first and then select the table cells. If you do it the opposite way around, while choosing a colour you will deselect the selected cells and apply color to all of the text in the table.
