AutoCad :: Map All Electrical Drawings To Printer Without Opening Each Drawing And Selecting New Printer?
May 2, 2013
I'm currently using AutoCad Electrical 2010 and we just got a new printer. Is there any way to map all of my electrical drawngs to that printer without opening each drawing and selecting the new printer?
I had list of computers in a work-group network with printers attached to computers. I had shared HP Deskjet 1280 on a xp, then on windows 7 try to connect to it and it successful connected and I can print any document. But I get the attacehd error when I try to select the printer when trying to print an AutoCad file.
how to change the printer associated with PSP or add another printer? I have 2 printers installed on Windows7 but the only one I get when I try to print from PSP is the wide format printer & no option to add another. Is printing from Windows Photo Viewer my only option?
every time I use my Dell Printer and go into scanning and select 'scan to' and select Gimp as the image program. Gimp freezes for eternity on Gimp Startup and I HAVE to 'end process'!!! end task DOES NOT work!! how do I fix this while scanning directly into Gimp?
I have some trouble with some files and print/printer. This is the message I get.
This issue happens only with some files link this : LINK
With some others I have no problem at all.
Have restored PS preferences (hold down cmd+alt+shift while starting PS CC) , try to change default printer, try to uinstall ad reinstall PS CC with no success.
I get this error message upon startup:There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents. I can however print pictures with window's photo printing wizard so I know my printer is setup and selected. Can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to have photoshop CS4 recognize that my printer exists and is selected?
I want to print an A3 drawing on an A4 printer. I saved the drawing as .DWF and opened the "Autodesk Design Review 2012" to perform the "tiling" print. When in printing properties, I can't seam to understand why the drawing is split in 6 pages, when in reality one A3 sheet is 2x A4 sheets. You can see in the example, that so much space is wasted, is there a way to center the drawing, and am I doing everything right here?
I am having problems printing to drawing sizes other then A Size (Letter).
I have scanned through the messages in this Newsgroup and tried everything that I have found, including making sure that I set the properties in a specific order.
No matter what size I specify, the printer spits out the drawing on an A Size piece of paper.
Here is my Private objApprenticeServerApp As New ApprenticeServerComponent Private Sub PlotInventorDrawing(strDwgPath As String, strPlotSize As String, strPlotter As String) ' Open a document. Dim odoc As ApprenticeServerDocument [Code] .......
I have an electrical drawing of a system, but the drawings are all on one page, and in order to print i have to go to print and then highlight want i want to print individually, is it possible to print all in one shot . (please see the attached file)
I need to save files as AO 1:25 pdfs to send to clients for printing. I have it all set up but as I have no plotter it wont let me save / export it!
On other threads it suggested selecting plotter "none " but that is not an option given to me , it only comes up with the home printers I have used ( they only doA4)
I've tried setting "Options" > "Plot and Publish" > "Use as default output device" to both "Default Windows System Printer" as well as "HP Officejet.I've double checked that my printer is in fact set as the default windows system printer.Nonetheless, every single time I print, "Printer/plotter" is set to "None" and I have to select my printer manually.
I have done a drawing, and when I try to plot..The printer dialog doesn´t accept any of my installed printers.I have, for example an HP p1102, and when I select it as the printer device, de combo box closes and the selection is automatically changed to "none".
I have searched this issue in the Group, but I haven't seen any post talking about it.
i have autocad lt and I am unable to print. When I try to print my printer doesn't appear in the drop down box where the available printers are listed. the printer isn't hidden I already went to that box and it wasn't checked.
We have a number of printers in our office, an A3, an A1 plotter and an A4 printer.
After printing off the same drawing to the A3 and the A4 yesterday, I realised the A4 printer is printing around 95% of the size it should be printing.
I don't even know where to start fixing this problem; the user manual for the HP Officejet Pro 8000 Enterprise [I know!] doesn't even reference scale at all. It could be an issue with CAD linking to the printer my computer linking to the printer the printer My colleagues are having the same issue, so it's not just my computer or settings.
I need to set the Printer Configuration Search Path and the Plot Style Table Search Path. Currently I am using COM but the issue I have is that I need to run the same application on 2 different machines, one has only Autocad 2010 (xp-32bit), the other has both Autocad 2010 and Autocad 2012(win7-64bit) and I've got some difficulty to have it running.
When trying to create a PDF file of any drawing with the inbuilt DWG to PDF AutoDesk plotter the software always crashes out with a FATL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 21247a28h. Not sure if this is a coincidence but this has only just started happening since updating my Adobe Reader software to the very latest XI version just released.
I have sent several error reports to Autodesk but can't see any in the support section. I have tried un-installing the Acrobat Reader software and AutoCAD still crashes out. Creating PDF's from external printers like PDF24 have no issues but prefer the inbuilt printer as it keeps the vector data and layering info in the resultant PDF.
Using AutoCAD LT 2013 with service pack 1.1 installed.
I'm having problems with lineweights. It shows up too dark whenever I plot to both pdf and the printer (Kyocera KM-2560 KX). Ive tried adjusting the ctb file (changing thicknesses of colours) but to no avail. This problem does not occur for my colleagues, with exactly the same ctb file. So is it a general autocad setting problem?
I know this isnt really a CAD question but I bought a hp designjet 510 about 6 months ago. It was working great and cutting everything. Then I had a paper jamb and ever since then it doesn't cut every time. Sometimes it cuts four pages in row and then sometimes it will group 2 together.
When I plot directly to a plotter or to a PDF file from paper space, some of the 3d pipe model will fade out along the pipe line. It happens to some of the lines, not all. I have re-drawn the pipes and drawn them using different UCS orientations. No change. I changed the layer color, changed the tessellation, line weight. Can this problem be related to the display driver, either software or video card? I have the latest drivers. ACAD ver. 11, nvidia quatro fx-3800 card.
I have some very strange problems printing from Autocad. Some of the text is missing. The printer used is a HP9500. If I use a PDF driver to print to file, then print from the PDF file, it's ok, the text is showed, but printing directly from autocad has been resulting in this type of issue.
I checked the layers, and they are ok. The fonts are ok. It's not printing some text "near the viewport" borders. It was what I could conclude.
