I am printing out several images for relatives in 4x6 size. The prints are only half height (landscape mode).Using Photoshop Elements works okay.I normally print on an Epson r1900 and everything there prints out well.Either automatic or setting to dimensions in the print menu makes no difference.Image size reports correctly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLast week I have made photo's of 140 different paintings. Some paintings were very big, some were very small, some where rectangle shape, some were square shape. All paintings were set upon a stand and I photographed all of them from my tripod. So you can understand that on some pictures I have large paintings and on some photos I have small paintings.
Now I want to remove everything around the painting so that my photo ONLY shows the painting (even the border around the painting has to be removed).

First I select only the painting. Then I inverse my selection and remove it. So I'm now left with a photo of only the painting. So far no problem.Then I select the painting and with CTRL T I place the 'reference point location to the upper left corner and than set the height to 2000px. The painting now becomes 2000px high, but the width isn't corrected so I click on the 'maintain aspect ratio' and the painting is okay. This is now done with (for example a square painting).

But when I now perform this action on a rectangle painting, the end-result is a square painting.
Were need to invest in an archival printer. We need to be able to print archival prints and also strip prints. Example size would be 10X30. Nothing over an 11X14 size on standard sizes. So any recommendations? I was looking at the Epson r2400 but wasn’t to sure on just how long of a print it can print.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to edit a JPEG. It is one layer. My mode is Normal with 100% opacity, 100% fill. The layer is not locked.
I can use several tools including move, magic wand, paint bucket, crop. However, I cannot use the eraser, paintbrush, healing tool, clone stamp (which is the one I desperately need to use) or many others.

When the modify dimensions box is open, the 'roundoff' menu gives me 1/16", 1/8" etc, even when DECIMAL is selected as the unit format.
This wasn't happening earlier, not sure what's going on. [in fact in a solved problem from earlier, a colleague found a drawing that had units set to millimeters, had its insertion scale set to inches! Different computer, so not related].
We downloAded pics from walmart picture CDs edited them. Burnt the images to new DVDs tried to use them in the machines at walmart. To print machines don't read CDs.

Well, this week I must have done something, and I need to figure out how to fix it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything but Photoshop (CS), and spent the entire day talking to HP tech support. No one can figure it out. So hopefully, one of you experienced my problem and know how to fix it. Code:
I want to print multiple documents with a duplex printer, so I need to set the order in which the documents are sent to the printer. In the Print dialog box, when I select "Documents" in the "Print range", I can select the documents to print, but I cannot set the order in which they're printed. I appears that the order is in reverse alphabetical (how logical!). As far as I can tell, the only way to determine the order is to rename the files (using Save As). Interestingly, if I "Save As" a pdf or "Publish to PDF", the documents are in the order in which they were loaded or created.
If you're going to offer the ability to print or export multiple documents as a single file, it seems that there should be some way to order the documents first.
I have an Epson Artisan 725 AiO printer. I have been trying to acquire an image from the scanner on this machine. It is a TWAIN scanner. When I try to select the source, the TWAIN option is grayed-out and will not allow to be selected. My question is: Why is this option grayed-out. Does Corel X6 64 bit support TWAIN scanners?Â

I have tried a lot of different settings in the Color Management of PSP X4, in the Color Management of Windows (Win 7), and in the Printer Driver (Epson Stylus NX300), all with no success.
I also have problems when trying to SOFT PROOF these profiles in PSPX4: what I get is an unusable image covered with a deep fog, an image that is far from what is printed. And I know these printer profiles are good because they work correctly in Photoshop Elements 10.
Why can't I set the print quality to best on HP Photosmart 7520 with either PSE 8 or 11. I can with Lightroom 4.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI used to use HP photosmart c4480 to print film for own screen printing job. I use coreldraw to print back colour logo and use special photo paper and max dpi to print and got a good printing on back colour.
But after I moved to new factory, the printing change to all green colour. I thought may be the ink problem, then I change the new ink but can't fix it. I try to use the other printer but same.
I use same printer and photoshop to print some photo is OK.
OK. So how do I print a 4x6 borderless print on my new 7510 Photosmart? My only options seem to be a 4x6 tab print. What gives?

Previously I had Lr 5 running on my PC with Windows 7 and I was able to use the same HP printer to print both from the main tray and photo tray. Now I cannot get any photos from Lr printed, while the printer does print a test page ok from Device Manager.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with printing documents in color using the Corel Draw X6 (Windows 7). My printer is an HP Photosmart 8200 Series and I'm using the most recent driver from HP. I've made sure that the color is turned on (i.e. grayscale is turned off).
When I go the print dialog and the preview I only see black and white (and get no colors when proceeding with printing). For some strange reason I don't get a 'color' tab in the print dialog (where I could check whether grayscale/black&white printing is turned on).
But when I use a different printer driver (e.g. Windows XPS) then suddenly I see the correct preview with color. So somehow this is linked to the HP printer driver.
how to change the printer associated with PSP or add another printer? I have 2 printers installed on Windows7 but the only one I get when I try to print from PSP is the wide format printer & no option to add another. Is printing from Windows Photo Viewer my only option?
