Photoshop Elements :: Why Photo Printing Only Half The Picture
Oct 11, 2012When I send a photo to the printer, only part of the photo is printed.

View 2 RepliesBrand new GIMP user. I have been able to layer my pictures to create the effect I want. My problem is PRINTING. I can print but it is only printing half of the picture. Trying to print 4x6. If I flip the setup on my printer to landscape it only shows the bottom of the picture and it is not centered, the right size, and is on the top middle of my 4x6 photo paper. If I leave at portrait, it only hows the right side of the picture and, again, is the worng size and on the left side of the photo paper. Obviously I am missing something very basic?
View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing Elements Ver. 7. I have one photo which I have cropped using a 4x6 aspect ratio. I've done the same thing on dozens of photos but this one only prints on half the page (4x6 photo paper) no matter what orientations I set the printer or the program to.Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am making an image to be screen printed. In the background theres a moon in a very dark sky. The moon is going to be white, with a greenish gradient glow (circle shaped) around it, fading into darkness in the rest of the sky. I have the gradient ready but I can't figure out what to do about making it a half tone so I can screen print it.
I suppose the specifics of my image aren't crucial. What I need to know is how to make a coloured half tone where it's essentially two colours on two separate layers that blend into each other. Should it be two half tone layers? Or is it better to have ONE of the two colours a half tone, while the other sits below and together they create the illusion of blending?
When I drag the T icon for text from the left side over to just below the photo of my painting so that I can put the titile etc under it all I get is a staight line. How do I get it to print text?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am wanting to create a book, for home printing, to cataloge the life of my new dog. It could therefore eventually contain a large number of pages and I will need to add pages as time goes by.
But I would also want to print pages as they are designed and add them to the binder on a regular basis. Problem is that I have been completely unable to find any option for printing selected pages.
The programme only seems to be capable of printing the whole project, which means that if I have 50 pages all of them will be printed once I hit the Print button. I have searched all of the print options, page set up otions etc. but cannot find anything that allows me to print, say, pages 25-30.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow can I resize a photo in Elements 12, using the squares around the picture? I want to change the shape of the photo - in my old version, when I changed the size/shape, it would cut off part of the picture (which is what I want in order to get the size I want), whereas in Elements 12 it is just stretching and distorting the photo.

I am using this for a "scrapbook" photo page, where there are multiple photos and text on the page.
I have Photoshop Elements 12 and I am trying to send a picture using Photo Email. I read the tutorial and it says selct Preferences, Sharing then if you have Windows 7 to select it from the drop down menu. However, only option I have to select is Adobe Email Service. Even if I select that, it says an email verification email will be sent to my email address but it never comes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedDoesn't Photoshop Elements 11 support a photo tray option or is it just the main tray on your printer? My printer has a photo tray that I always used in previous Elements versions. Elements 11 doesn't show a photo tray option in printing, what gives???

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is a very strange thing that is happening.  Half the text on my file is not printing, it's like it's invisible.  The strange thing is I received two files from the same person the first one was fine.  It odd the first five lines are printing but not the rest of the text. I can re-type the text but I was wondering why it's happening.
View 9 Replies View RelatedOn my website, especially when pictures are side by side, I try to make all the same, i.e. square. To me it looks better. I have a picture that is rectangle and obviously cannot resize to a square - distorts the picture. I know there is a way to copy the rectangle picture into a square picture frame which allows the picture to be square while not distorting the rectangle size.

I can use several tools including move, magic wand, paint bucket, crop. However, I cannot use the eraser, paintbrush, healing tool, clone stamp (which is the one I desperately need to use) or many others.
How do I convert the colour profile of a Lightroom custom printing package from Adobe Prophoto to sRGB before printing? For that matter, how do I save the thing? I have no interest in saving the template, or the collection separately, since neither has any use without the other. And without saving them as one finished item, I have no way to convert the colour profile of that item. I can see clearly from the appearance of the print preview that the above mentioned colour profile conversion is required.

When the modify dimensions box is open, the 'roundoff' menu gives me 1/16", 1/8" etc, even when DECIMAL is selected as the unit format.
This wasn't happening earlier, not sure what's going on. [in fact in a solved problem from earlier, a colleague found a drawing that had units set to millimeters, had its insertion scale set to inches! Different computer, so not related].
My office has two desktop printers, both HP. Our Officejet 7000 wide format prints great. On the HP Officejet 7500, we are often seeing text printing errors. It will not print the text from vertical dimension strings, and cuts off some M-text at an imaginary vertical line in the middle of the text box. PDF's of the same drawing look fine. Is this a printer driver issue? Is there anything I can do within AutoCAD?
