I have a family reunion photo from 1925 that I'd like to print and distribute with all of the 20 or so individuals tagged names visable. If this is possible, I'd distribute one clean photo and one photo with names. Can I make this happen with Elements 11?

Ant attempt to capture the picture, say using Snipping Tool, fails as the names just dissapear.
I have briefly used 3 versions of Photo Elements (9, 10 and11) and have experienced the same problem in all 3. Scanned images are labeled Image1.jpg, Image2-###.jpg, Image3-###.jpg and Image4-###.jpg. As you noticed, the first scanned image is ALWAYS NAMED IMAGE1.jpg.
Because this is happening on every scan, Elements is giving me the message that the first scanned image in each subsequent scan is already in the catalog (as Image1.jpg). All the remaining images in the scan are sequenced without any problem.
It appears as though Elements places all scanned photos into a temp location under AppData and then enters them into the catalog after the scan is complete. The file names in this temp folder are Image1, Image2, Image3, Image4. Image2-4 have their filenames changed, but Image1 doesn't.
The easiest way I have found to fix this is to rename Image1.jpg after each scan. I have looked around Elements and have no user available procedures to fix this.I am using an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner with Epson Scan software 3.83.
I am running Elements 11.

The actual photos are still tagged with their names, but I can't use the feature to see all photos with a particular person as they are neither in the "all people" view, nor the list of people tags. However, under people view only two of the tags resulted in stacked photos. The other two tags report "no people exist in this group" if the tag group is selected. Why aren't the photos stacked for the people tags I prviously had tagged? How do I find all images with each of hte tags?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am planning to move from a PC Windows 7-based system to a MAC. As part of this move I will need to migrate Photoshop Elements from PE 8 in Windows to PE 12 on MAC. Back in July, I previously asked what steps would be necessary to migrate to PE 11 on MAC, but I delayed making the move (waiting for the new MacBook Pro) and will now be migrating to PE 12.
Do I still follow the same steps for a (hopefully!) smooth transition of my tagged photos and catalog? i.e., migrate from PE 8 (Windows) to PE 12 (Windows). Then from PE 12 (Windows) to PE 12 (MAC). Are there any gotchas or caveats that I should be aware of? I've read a few horror stories in various places and am nervous.
When I drag the T icon for text from the left side over to just below the photo of my painting so that I can put the titile etc under it all I get is a staight line. How do I get it to print text?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am wanting to create a book, for home printing, to cataloge the life of my new dog. It could therefore eventually contain a large number of pages and I will need to add pages as time goes by.
But I would also want to print pages as they are designed and add them to the binder on a regular basis. Problem is that I have been completely unable to find any option for printing selected pages.
The programme only seems to be capable of printing the whole project, which means that if I have 50 pages all of them will be printed once I hit the Print button. I have searched all of the print options, page set up otions etc. but cannot find anything that allows me to print, say, pages 25-30.

I get the msg that all faces have been tagged. I've been scanning about 300 pix from our old albums and always try to add people after each group. I have no interest in saving the template, or the collection separately, since neither has any use without the other. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and Adobe X Pro. When I print to PDF (using plotter DWG to PDF) the hatching for the slopes analysis does not show up. I have other hatching in the plan and that shows up, along with the outline for the slopes. Its just the actually slope hatching that doesn't show up.

When we go to print the drawing on with the xref on it is barely visible. If I open the xref up and print it comes out fine. I have inserted the xref to its own layer.I do not know what to do from here.

In the past I used windows explorer, which allowed me to modify groups of titles but now I just updated to windows 7 and it does not seem to allow that. Is there some way with Paint Shop Pro to modify the names of groups of photos - extract certain characters or words, add other characters or words, etc?
Or perhaps there is a photo organizing program that provides that kind of tool?
I have had numerous problems trying to print from 2014 using the setting "Visible portion of current window". This feature was never that good, anyway, but now it seems to be WAY worse. I'm spending 5-10 minutes to just send something to the printer that should only take 5 seconds.
See the attached images of what I see on screen, the print dialog boxes and then what I actually get. The "Center" option doesn't function properly and now I must manually adjust the margins to print what I see on the screen.

Under the "Places" tab, it's listed as 5754 State Road 23 in Spring Green Wisconsin. I'll never remember that this is the ADDDRESS for the House on the Rock, so I want to change the listing to something that will make sense to me as I use the column search function (something logical like: "House on the Rock, Spring Green, Wisconsin")
