View 2 RepliesIt would be nice to make it either in photoshop or in illustrator.

I am printing to my Epson 4880 for screen printing film. I have recently upgraded to CS6 on Windows 7. I can choose the separations option in the print window and edit the dot frequency and angle options.
When the film is printed, the graphics are printed as grayscale NOT dot pattern. This will not work when exposing screens. There is nothing new that I am doing so I must have some settings overlooked.
My problem is that when I fill something with solid colour, there are pixels shown on the screen. When I save the PCX and open it in an older version of Photo-Paint the pixels are not there.
What am I doing wrong or how could I avoid this. There are no options activated as error diffusion...
We print entrance mats and have a fix palette of 44 colours and need PCX files for the machine.
Check the screenshot: space is filled with one colour but on the lower half there are pixels/dots which should not be there...
I am working in printing press, when I am giving trace sheet print. The grey color was coming dots.

When it was printed as an attempt, the picture was very pixelized (one could see the pixels in a way they are - rectangle-like...). Is there any tool in Ps how to smooth tthem? What could be done to achieve as best printing quality as possible?!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and Adobe X Pro. When I print to PDF (using plotter DWG to PDF) the hatching for the slopes analysis does not show up. I have other hatching in the plan and that shows up, along with the outline for the slopes. Its just the actually slope hatching that doesn't show up.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using MEP 2012, I have arch back rounds on in a Xref. Everything seems to be fine and work well. When we go to print the drawing on with the xref on it is barely visible. If I open the xref up and print it comes out fine. I have inserted the xref to its own layer.I do not know what to do from here.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had numerous problems trying to print from 2014 using the setting "Visible portion of current window". This feature was never that good, anyway, but now it seems to be WAY worse. I'm spending 5-10 minutes to just send something to the printer that should only take 5 seconds.
See the attached images of what I see on screen, the print dialog boxes and then what I actually get. The "Center" option doesn't function properly and now I must manually adjust the margins to print what I see on the screen.
If I am constantly making frames in photoshop for use in the video world (ie. They will be on TV) the pixels need to be rectangular (or 4x3) in aspect and not square.
I know in programs like After Effects and Combustion you can set when saving an image whether or not it is square or rectangular pixels.
How do I do this in Photoshop if it can be done?
After processing images in Lightroom 5, I exported them as jpgs to another folder, which I intend to upload to a printer. However, the stars i used to rate the images appear in the upper left corner of the jpg. Why did this happen and how can I get rid of the visible stars?

Is there a tool or plugin for PDN that allows sub-pixel shifts (i.e. moves by fractions of pixel)? And rotations by very small angles?

View 2 Replies View RelatedYou know in some designs, maybe the Sun Viser sticker on a car window screen would be the easiest way to describe this, its basically a pattern of dots were they start off big and joined and eventually fade to small spaced out dots... does anyone know how to do this?... I'm hoping there is a gradient plug in effect out there?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought the PHOTOSHOP CS4, and I am having problem when it prints. The image is not clear, it has dots (pixels). This computer where I installed this program is brand new. I have previously worked with Photoshop CS2 and never had an issue but was force to buy this new one because the computer that I bought has Windows Vista and CS2 is not compatible. I thought maybe the problem was my printer but is not I have a Brother HL-5140 (black and white). I have connected my old computer with the printer and the images print perfectly fine. I have printed photos and it prints clear. But this only happens with Photoshop CS4. It prints dots.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to make this effect on a photo. Its abit difficult to explain, but I'll try:
The image only contains one color, say black or red, and is put together by dots in different sizes and with different space between them, not sure, might just me different space between them. In the dark areas they are close to each other and in lighter areas they have a greater distance between each other.
I also wonder how to make the same kinda dot effect, but not with only one color. like magazies and newspaper use when they print photos. Im not reffering to the halftone filters. I tried to define a dot pattern, and delete the inverted pattern in the image, but im not satisfied with the results...
I have just aquired a copy of my great grandmother, unfortunatly it came from a newspaper or a magazine. However I would like to remove the halftoning and then later colorize it. The latter should be no problem as I've done tht before, but those pesky halftones have me stumped. I have tried using gaussian blur and unsharp mask but it looks a bit iffy if you know what I mean.
