How do I set my brushes / tools .. to show brush size circle boundaries just like every other version of PSE?? all i get is a picture of the icon and no circle boundry. Have not control over my brush.
View 2 RepliesI loaded up GIMP today to find that the yellow dashed layer boundaries aren't showing within any of my drawings. The 'Show Layer Boundary' option in the 'View' menu is selected - I have even tried un-selecting, and re-selecting it again, but still does not show.
I really don't want to reinstall GIMP because I will lose my custom window configurations.
I've successfully merged a sequence of photos taken along the shoreline of Yellowstone Lake using the Photoshop Elements 11 Photomerge Panorama facility. Alignment is perfect but the sky has gone wrong at one or two boundaries.
The sky is there in both the adjoining photos and I'm sure I could do a better job than Elements if I could adjust the mask boundaries and get rid of the existing smudged area, but I can't find out how to do that.
why a circle is not showing the particular linetype (no matter what scale I adjust it to) until I break the circle line?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI must have fat fingered something and I now when I click on the Eraser Tool or the Brush Mask Tool instead of getting a circle or square, I get and icon of the tool instead. They still work but they're harder to use without seeing the circle or square depending on what's selected. I've been using Corel for many years and never had this happen and I can't figure out how to switch back.

I'm using pse 11 right now. I've got a decent handle on text on shape tool. But I can't figure out how to get text inside a circle. (as opposed to around the outside) I've seen a couple tutorials that reference a little black arrow to move selections (I think within the Text tool menu) , and change orientation of text. I can't see this anywhere. I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I can't figure this one out.

Other post talked about DPI and Java, which I have checked and still have the same problem. I've had the program installed on the same computer without this problem, and the setup is the same with the usual update in drivers.

I have Elements 11 and am using iTunes 10.7 I have just created an album in Elements 11, but when I want it to sync with my Ipad using iTunes, the new album does not appear in the list. Albums created earlier, using Elements 8, show up ok.

When syncing my iPad, photoshop does not appear in the drop down menu in the photos section, only iPhoto or the option to select a folder appears.
I have re-installed iTunes but to no avail.
Other posts with similar issues suggest that iTunes 11 solves the problem but I have the latest version.
Is there a known problem with color in Elements 10?I have a gif that when opened in paint shows the light blue color correctly but in PSE10 shows as a buff color.Red, yellow and blue seem about right.It doesn't matter if it is the gif or the psd file the color showns the same in PSE10.
