View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat is the smallest object I can draw and "SEE" in AutoCAD? I was hoping to prove a point in my introductiory AutoCAD class, but it appears I have been lying!! I tried to draw a cirlce with a diameter of 1.24E-10m. The dot shows up, but I cannot zoom to it. I tried using an enormous zoom scale, but did not have any luck. I am almost positive my instructor introduced the capabilites of AutoCAD by drawing a full scale helium atom, and that was release 14. Is this still possible? Obviously the atom can be drawn, but what are the zoom limitations?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI spent hours trying to annotate a circle 6 pixel in diameter. Using DrawEllipse passing a 6 pixel square rect. and it draws a square. If the diameter is large ex. 20 pixel then it draws a circle.
The circle should look like this:
I have a line and I want from the midpoint of this line to draw a circle with 50meters diameter.
My problem is that my drawing has WGS84 as a defined coordinate system so everything is in decimal degress.
How do I draw the cirle or any other item for that matter using metric units (meters etc) while on WGS84?
Can a AutoLISP command be written to read an attribute in a block and draw a circle with the attribute as the diameter using variables?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAccording to the tool pallet instructions, I should be able to draw a circle of specific diameter by typing in the "width" dimension, then, according to Illustrator: "you can click on the word Height to copy that value into the Height box." Doesn't work. I've trashed the AI prefs, clicked on the word and on the field, and this simply doesn't work. I assume that I or my system is at fault.
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan a AutoLISP command be written to read an attribute in a block and draw a circle with the attribute as the diameter using variables? The appilcation is taking the diameter of a tree trunk (the attribute), multipling by 12, and drawing the canopy circle on hundreds of those blocks. So the circles drawn will vary in size.
Not sure how this could be set up, i'm not familiar with LISP writing at all.
1) Read block, single, mulitple or definition?
2) Read Attribute
3) Varaible of attribute, (attribute is an inch measurement...it needs to be multipled by 12 to get feet for final use as circle diameter drawn)
4) Draw circle, variable, with diameter coming from attribute variable (attribute in inches that is multipled by 12)
5) Center point or circle to be block's base point
I'm trying to create a dynamic block that uses a parameter and an attribute definition to determine the diameter of a circle in that block. I plan to export GIS points with diameter in the attribute table into a CAD file with the block definition. I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up the parameters to read to attribute definition and adjust the circle diameter. Using AutoCAD 2013

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a weird bug in CS6 Photoshop... all brushes, at about 30 size, are getting truncated on the circle. Paint brush, background eraser, doesn't matter... most of the times all I see is the brush outline from 9-12 o'clock. The other 3/4 of the arc are gone. As I make the brush smaller, I see more, and as I make it larger, even the center cross hair starts to disappear.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have contacted Adobe about issues with Photoshop brushes recently. My issue is that the brush size is smaller than the circle that represents the brush. In other words, when I hoover over the area that I want to paint or erase with the circle and then click, the painted or erased area is smaller that the circle. It's really frustrating when fine tuning an image, you never know how close you are to what you want to correct. This is only visible when you zoom in quit a bit. I worked with an Adobe tech for over an hour and he could not simulate the problem. Then he finally asked if I was using a retina display, (he was not).
View 4 Replies View RelatedNo matter what tool I'm using, when I change the diameter or size of my brush, it doesn't show me the apparent difference in size. Usually there is like a ring or circle that changes size that hovers over the mouse cursor to show the difference in brush size. But, it just remains the same size and I can't see how big or small my brush is when Im using it. It doesn't matter how much I'm zoomed in or out, either. I tried restarting my program as well. Im using Photoshop Elements 9.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've made a sketch in Photoshop Elements. The resolution was 743 by 663 pixels. I'm wanting to finish this in Illustrator, but when I open the same file (I have tried both PNG and PSD so far with the same results) in Illustrator, the image is extremely small, yet it says it is zoomed in 100%. In order for me to draw on this, it needs to be the same size that it looked like when it was opened in Photoshop. I understand the image is not actually resized, but the scale makes it appear smaller. And I also understand that illustrator's "pixels" measurments are incorrect (or so I have been told and observed).
I attempted simply rescaling the image myself with the select tool, but unfortunately I lose resolution and some of my sketch lines when I do this.
I'm not a master at any of these programs, so if you have an answer to how I could get the image scale to be "normal,".
I am new to Adobe and I can not figure out if you can resize to email the picture smaller?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an image (1200mm x 1200mm) very sharp and crisp. (A photo that i have worked on and has lots of detail) I drag this image onto a canvas size of 150mm x150mm - and the image loses all of its sharpness. It is not apparent until i zoom in to see the detail. (PSE10) I'm sure that there is a box somewhere to tick..........but i cannot find it.
when i drag it over, it is still the large size, so i grab the grips/handles and shrink to fit, then it pixelates?
I have just had a new 1TB internal hard drive installed in my PC and then the original smaller internal 500GB hard drive cloned onto it. The new 1TB is now Local Dick C and the smaller 500GB has been changed from C and is now Local Disk F. PSE11 is running from the new C and all my pictures are on both C and F but the catalogue is pointing to F. I want to delete all of the old files on F to free up space since they are all cloned to the new 1TB C, so I want the PSE11 catalogue to point only to the pictures on C. I have tried creating a new Catalogue and importing my pictures from C. The images come in and look connected to C but, when I close PSE11 and then reopen that new catalogue, the image path reads F, as does the original catalogue. So, now I have two catalogues apparently point to F but I want to: 1) have only one catalogue pointing to C; 2) the delete catalogues pointing to F; 3) then reformat F: so I have a clean 500GB old hard drive for future expansion.
