I have a weird bug in CS6 Photoshop... all brushes, at about 30 size, are getting truncated on the circle. Paint brush, background eraser, doesn't matter... most of the times all I see is the brush outline from 9-12 o'clock. The other 3/4 of the arc are gone. As I make the brush smaller, I see more, and as I make it larger, even the center cross hair starts to disappear.

View 2 Replies View RelatedCS5.5Â has worked like a charm until a week ago. All of a sudden pictures I had worked on in PS and saved back to LR3 showed up in LR corrupted. When trying to open them in PS I get the following message: "Could not complete your request because a JPEG marker segment length is too short (the file may be turncated or incomplete)."

Oddly, it does not happen to all files I work on, though I am fairly consistent in using the same procedure: I import from my camera to LR (3.6) work on the RAW file in LR and do my fine-tuning of the shot in PS (PS 12.1 x64). In PS I save the file back to LR by using "Save" and add an additional file to an external disk in .jpeg format using "Save as ...".

Another odd thing is that there also appears to be a time issue connected to this. After working on my photos, I upload them to my website, and it works fine. After I close PS/LR and reopen again (there could be a reboot in there sometimes), the pictures that were fine previously, are now corrupted. In LR the pic is missing the bottom third (gray snow), split and a color level is missing.

If I try to open the picture in Preview, it tells me the file is empty. Quick Look will show the thumbnail, but nothing more. The file in its folder is obviously only the thumbnail as the size is somewhere between 80 - 120 KB.

I recently updated my OS to 10.8.2 ...Obviously, this is no way to work. Is there some workaround for this problem, short of having to invest in CS6 and LR4?

I use Topaz and SilverEFEX Pro 2, but it does not appear to have an effect on the truncation

When I try to open a large (98MG) tiff file in PhotoShop, I get the following message: "This file may be damaged (the file may be truncated or incomplete)." When I continue, the image appears with a blue line through it. I am, however, able to view the file using Microsoft Office Document Imaging, and the image is perfect.

I had to convert all clips to smart objects it seems to adjust highlights.

I had rendered the project once to 1080P but forgot part of one clip and dragged it into PS.
It is the exact same size but is not positioned correctly and I lose part of the right edge.
I thought it would fix itself with rendering it to 1080P as the image and canvas size are identical and from the same shoot--but it didn't.I hit "fit in screen" or actual pixels but not sure that matters.

On both my computers, Laptop and Desk, running XP, text in the Preferences Dialog Box is truncated (Photoshop CS3) or illegibly wrapped on two lines (Bridge CS3 ) It happens regardless of the resolution settings of the monitor.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got CS4 Masters Collection about 3 years ago when I was still using a Power PC G5 Mac. Since then, I've upgraded my setup with Intel machines. I'd like to use Adobe Premiere Pro on my Mac Book Pro, as I cannot run it on my G5. I found a download link on Adobe's servers for the old Adobe Premiere CS4 trial, and I downloaded it. Since it isn't installed on the G5, I should be able to use it on my Intel machine, right?
So I went into System Info on one of the other CS4 apps installed on my G5, and found the serial code, but it was shortened to 20 characters, when the registration requires 24. How can I find the last 4 characters so I can activate Premiere? I found a guide, but it only works for PC's.
I don't know why, but lately, I don't have any options available when I go to export an image. Once I click "Export" from the file dialog box, all I get is this three-button Help/Export/Cancel dialog, and I can't specify any options relevant to the export format.

I am importing a Gis (2007) shp file into C3D 2013 (Attaching Query and everything else) and everythings seems to be working. Â However, I get an elevation of 3 for all contours (Even before the Query a 3 feet elevation is depicted in the properties windows).
The only reason behind this, that I could think of, is that C3D is not reading after the 3.***** in the dbf file.
In LDDT 2009, I was able to describe points like this: STK #32
But in Civil 3D 2013, whenever I use the # symbol, the description gets truncated. Â So, using the point description above, it will show up in Civil 3D 2013 as STK rather than STK #32.
Is this a setting or something that I can switch on so that the I can use symbols such as # and - in my point description?
I think you will see from the pic my line mabel do not = the distance or property mesurement. all the labels are truncated so there is no auto rounding..

I am interested in grouping and sorting brushes according to size, shape, whatever.
Right now when I add a brush library, they just stack on top of one another.
For example let's say I have a round brush with a 10 diameter, then next to it a round brush with a 20 diameter. If I make a 15, it goes to the bottom of the list, and I have to scroll all around. How can I group them?
I suspect I would have to make my own brush library with my brushes how I want them, then save that and load it?
I am trying to produce a sketch in 3D of a truncated pyramid, base 11 meters square and top 20 meters square. Its 80 meters high and I need to twist the top 45 degrees to create an iconic tower for a friend in Brazil.
Have drawn the pyramid but how can I twist the top and make the vertical lines follow?
I am trying to get my points to displey the " mark from our descriptions. The description keys are set to $* and I have tried changing the Label Style from full description to raw description. I cannot get any information after the " mark from our field data. LDD used to put it in, but civil 3D truncates the information. I know I can do a find and replace in the .csv file, but would rather not have to continually edit the .csv file. Where the setting in civil 3D is to allow this to happen? I have even messed with the Point File Formats to no avail.

I’ve been used to just selecting the opacity (like 10%) and using my stylist and going over the area and getting darker much like a traditional airbrush. I have played around with the flow and opacity but can’t get the look and the feel of v5. I don’t have all the time in the world to play around with it because it’s my friends computer, I just want to know if it can be done or if they have fazed that out with the newer versions.
