AutoCAD Architecture :: Attribute Info In Blocks Not Showing Up?
Jan 4, 2011I have stored a few blocks in our library in 2D. They contain attributes such as detail numbers, elevation/sheet numbers, and side attributes for keynotes. But whenever I drag the blocks in now, instead of prompting for the information to be filled out for the attributes it only asks for insertion point and scale and that's it. it inserts the block but no text shows up, not even a default text. There has to be a setting to turn off or on.

Jan 1, 2014I have a Canon Rebel T3. I switch the camera's white balance depending on the lighting. But when i go to review the files, nothing in the metadata shows what white balance I shot it in. This applies to both jpeg and raw pictures.
It would be nice to see this info so I can compare which settings looked better.
Does Elements 11 show this data anywhere?

Jan 20, 2013Writing File Infoes i PSE 11, using a danish caracterset, looks OK at a first view, but reading the info in Irfan View is horrible.
Writing the same, using PSE 5, gives no problem. Can I change the characterset used i PSE 11 to that used i PSE 5?

Nov 14, 2012I am currently using PE6 in an old XP PC and want to use the same PE6 software in my new Windows 7 PC. The sheer number of photos (>12K) make it nearly impossible to reorganize and retag everything from scratch!! If a newer PE version would avoid these problems, I would consider upgrading. I can't believe the Adobe hasn't been asked this question before, but I have been unable to locate any relevant information on their website.

Oct 25, 2012Using PSE9 on 2 PCs. Files are stored locally on each, and updates synced via Windows Mesh.
1) Add tag to jpg on PC1 using PSE.
2) Execute PSE "write to file" command before closing app
3) Confirm on PC2 via Windows Explorer that tag info is updated on local file
4) Open PSE on PC2, bur additional tag info is not recognized by PSE.
5) Tried to re-import test files in PSE using "Get Files" function, but tag data was still not read by PSE.
6) Manually added new tag to tag list, reloaded PSE, but new tag info still not read on file.
7) Ran Optimize and Repair catalog functions, but problem persisits.
How do I get PSE to read tag info on updated jpg files without rebuilding the entire catalog every time I edit a file?

Feb 2, 2013I have elements 10 and am using it in windows 7. The manual says that "As you edit your images, Photoshop Elements automatically keeps track of the file's edit history and adds this information to the file's metadata". That's what I want. But when I look in the History tab in the File Info, it's always blank.
How do I get it to turn on and keep track of the edits I've made to the image? (Note -- I'm not talking about the Undo History panel -- that works and shows the edit history. I'm talking about the History tab in "File Info".)

Sep 30, 2013I appear to have come across a problem. Elements 12 Catalog loses adjusted dates.
Feature: right click on photo --> Adjust Date and Time --> Change to a Specified Date and Time
I've noticed the catalog consistently retained dates that include a month, day, and year. However, those that have only month and year have lost the adjustment. Sadly this problem has cost hours of work on possibly over 100 photos and was unresponsive to repair, optimize, closing, and reopening.

Feb 19, 2014I have PE9. When I try to send a photo as an email attachment, I cannot input any contact info. I get a pop-up that asks me to sign in to my Adobe ID. When I try, it says Photoshop.com is not available, error code 400. At no point do I get to a screen that allows me to input contact info, even from the Edit menu. I deactivated, uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Still have the problem. I don't have the problem on my laptop which I didn't provide with my Adobe ID.

Since the upgrade to mountain lion when I click 'write keyword tag and properties info to photo" it also changes the date the photo was created to the date the info was written to the photo .
How I can get it to write the keyword info *without* changing the date the photo was created?

When syncing my iPad, photoshop does not appear in the drop down menu in the photos section, only iPhoto or the option to select a folder appears.
I have re-installed iTunes but to no avail.
Other posts with similar issues suggest that iTunes 11 solves the problem but I have the latest version.

Jan 2, 2014Is there a known problem with color in Elements 10?I have a gif that when opened in paint shows the light blue color correctly but in PSE10 shows as a buff color.Red, yellow and blue seem about right.It doesn't matter if it is the gif or the psd file the color showns the same in PSE10.

Nov 13, 2012I am startiang from scrach since I only was able to transfer photos to a new hard drive. I installed elements 11 and connected with the photos on my hard drive. I have set up various albums and have placed photos in the album they belong. Now I was familar with earlier photoshop and by "tagging" the photo to a particular album. Then I could go to show untagged items to slowly organize the thousands of photos i have. But the same photos are still showing up in the media display. So what am I doing wrong. Is tagging something different from the earlier versions where you could drag an album label to the photo and then see it listed. The photos are showing up in the album but I see no tags.

Oct 30, 2012I've upgraded from PSE 6 to PSE 11. My people tags have carried over, but are not showing properly in the "People" view.
All my people tags are still present on the pictures and I can search using them by selecting "Advanced Search" in the media view. However, when I go to the People view, the only stacks I see are ones I have created in PSE 11 that were not tagged in my previous version. The names of all my previously tagged people only show when I click to view "Groups". Clicking on the name in "Groups" simply leads to the message "No people exist in this group" - even though the tag clearly shows on the images in the Media view.
Is there any way to convert the people listed as groups back to people tags that will be recognised by PSE? Even when I run the facial recognition software and tag people here, they still do not show up in the People view if they were previously tagged in PSE 6.
Photoshop Elements :: New Monitor Calibration Showing B&W As Sepia
Jan 28, 2014I just purchased a new monitor, and when I opened up elements 12 it asked me if i wanted to correct my colour profile. I said yes, and now all whites on that monitor are displayed as a sepia like yellow colour. When I move photoshop to my other monitor, the image displays fine. Its not an issue with the monitor, as b&w images in other applications display well.
