AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Surface Boundary Only Showing Portion Of Surface Within The Boundary
Oct 24, 2012I used a 2d polyline to create a surface boundary for a surface created. The polyline is a closed loop. For the boundary type it is outer, unchecked Non-destructive breakline, and mid-ordinate distance = 1.
My problem is that when I do this I only get a small portion of the surface to show up within my surface boundary. If I don't have a surface boundary the entire drawing surface shows up no problem.
The purple polyline is my boundary and the light blue is the surface created within the boundary.

Now when I click a tool (the rectangular marqee tool for example), the hidden tools (eliptical marqee, single row etc.).
I'm using PS CS5 on Windows 7.
AutoCAD Inventor :: How To Stop Surfaces Showing In IDW
Oct 11, 2013I am using 2013 and my construction surfaces keep displaying in my drawing views. They are hidden at part and assembly level and include surfaces is greyed out but they show as visible in the feature tree in the idw, and in the views.
Is there a setting somewhere to stop this. This is from IDW. They should not be visible.
GIMP :: Dialogs For Tools STOP Showing
Jun 11, 2011I use the GIMP all the time and I love it! I'm not a realexpert, but can do mostly what I like.
I'm using Gimp 2.6 on Ubuntu. I open the GIMP, and I'm going along just fine, then all of a sudden I can't get the dialog box for a tool I'm using and I can't view the layers tool box. If I close everything and open GIMP again, it will work for a while.
AutoCAD 2010 :: Hatch Creation Ribbon - Will Not Close Or Stop Showing
Mar 1, 2012I have Inventor Series 2011 and regarding my AutoCAD Mechanical 2011 have it updated to Version 3 (Product Version: E.208.0.0).
I am trying to work on some drawing in my AutoCAD and all the sudden the Hatch Creation Ribbon has decide it is going to rule the day. All day, and likely tomorrow too. I am not working on any hatches but why it has popped up. And it WILL NOT CLOSE! If I select the “Close Hatch Creation” panel button on the ribbon, it simply executes the last command that was ran. So, I figure I just close down the drawing and close then restart AutoCAD and I should be good to go. Nope. Reboot the computer. Nope. Soon as I fire AutoCAD back up and open any of my drawings.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Stop Hidden Lines From Showing Up In Drawings After Adding Parts To Assembly?
Mar 14, 2013I'm not sure if there's a way to stop this, but whenever I add parts to an assembly and switch to the drawing of the assembly, the hidden lines for those parts show up in every view of the assembly. Right now I'm having to go to each view and select the hide hidden lines option for each part. Is it possible to stop the hidden lines from showing up everytime I add a part?

Feb 19, 2014I'm using Elements 5.0. Is there any way to limit the text during entry to a set area. Can't seem to find anything like a bounding box that prevents it 'leaking' out of the side/s of the image. Anything similar to setting margins in word for example?

Nov 9, 2012i need to know if there is any way to control the points in the point cloud.
1. either only import the point cloud in a polyline area i specify
2. add all the points within a boundary not limited to the pointclouddensity = 100, freaking default is 15 almost cost my job today. extremely stressed out right now.
i am talking about extreme lidar surveys. 1km 1km LAS/0.5m contours/xyz files times 355 of them. covers a 2km wide corridor. but i only need 100m wide after i define the road alignment. no need to have all the extra points.
right now i densify the heck out of it and end up like 5-12m points. decent but not good enough because the geotech is bitching about that accuracy is not good for some feasibility study. or is there any software i can do this besides civil 3d.
what i want can also do is automate the 'add points to surface" under point cloud and have the software do multiple boundaries without having me baby it over the night. right now every click is 5 minutes and adds like 400k to 1 million points. Civil 3D 2012
Photoshop :: CS5 Have Begun Showing Communication Error Either Before Printing
Mar 12, 2012LR printed okay for about 1/2 of a job (~300 prints) I have and then this showed up. To finish I have had to "edit in CS5" now for a few days, thusly one image at a time and no info printed on the print either. After 2 days of printing good in CS5 it too began the dreaded "communication error".This did not happen until 2 weeks back. I spent days proving that the printer is "communicating" just fine. New cables, other programs etc. The printer driver has been reloaded dozens of times. The machine has been rebooted daily.
I do not think it has any relevance however,

Apr 19, 2011I have been send a dwg of a elevation of a kitchen plans that I want to include into my drawing, everything looks ok in autocad but when I go to print this drawing, non of the lines show up just a few random text boxes but no text, no layers are set to not print so why this is so.
I can not upload the file as its 3.32mb.

Dec 19, 2012I love the Elements 11 organiser but prefer to edit using PS CS6. However, everytime I edit using PS CS6, the Elements organiser creates a JPG file. If I save this as a PSD file, I have to manually trick Elements organiser into reconnecting to the PSD file by deleting the JPG from windows explorer and then manuall reconnecting the JPG to the PSD instead. This is also the case if I want to just go straight into OnOne Perfect Photo Suite by setting it up as an external editing program.
Is there a way to change Elements organisers behaviour?
