I have a D3000 and PSE9 and at one time my NEF files would open with the raw dialog box. Now they only open in the normal editor. How do I get my raw dialog back?

View 3 Replies View RelatedEvery time I open a RAW file into Photoshop CS5Â from LR3, it automatically creates and saves a PSD or TIFF file. Is there a way to stop lightroom from doing this? When I used LR2, I saved these files only if I choose to. I always convert my files to jpg after I'm done editing in PS and don't need these huge files hanging around.
View 13 Replies View RelatedThis didn't used to happen, but now whenever I open an Illustrator file, the "Find Font" dialog opens as though the fonts I'm using aren't found. Not sure what it wants me to do because no matter what I try nothing resolves. I simply click the "Done" button and go about my business. And there are no problems. Why is this happening? and why now? My fonts are always loaded before I open the file, the file looks and handles just fine.

I connect my camera Photoshop opens. I am running Windows XP. I have tried opening the camera and changing its default to not open, but it keeps happening. I can't find some global setting in Photoshop or on XP to stop this.
View 10 Replies View RelatedUpgraded to PSE 11. Now when I click on a file, PSE starts but does not load the file. This was working fine in PSE 6-10. The file association in Windows 7 (now too with Windows 8) is still there for all picture file types but they won't open when I click on them. I can open them once I'm in PSE just fine. I uninsalled and reinstalled PSE and still nothing.

I recently traded in my Canon T3i for a T4i, and now PS Elements 10 won't open the CR2 RAW files from this camera.  According to "Help - Plug In" I have V 6.7, so I went to the Adobe site which said I needed V 7.1, which I download, and extracted, but it won't install it in the software; when I click on the extracted AdobePatchInstaller application, I get a message stating "Update Failed" and "this patch is not applicable for you".  Also, when I click "Help-Updates" it tells me everything is up to date.Â

When I double click a jpg file to open it in the editor the editor opens but the image does not open. However if I open the editor and open any jpg file then double click on another file it will open.
I am using PSE 11 & Windows 7. Was working just fine. I opened up some RAW photos through the organizer; selected a file to view, and clicked on editor > photo editor to open and edit it. This worked fine, too. It would open in the RAW editing window first (where I make the RAW adjustments like exposure, etc.) and then I'd click open image and edit in PSE 11 just like I wanted to.

I did this for several photos, got up to go to the bathroom, and came back to my cat on my laptop keyboard. Of course.

Now, after rebooting, reopening PSE, rebooting again,I cannot view my photo in the editor. I go to PSE organizer, find my RAW photo, and click on editor > photo editor just like I used to. It flashes "edit in progress" just like it should, flips over to the empty PSE 11 window, and just sits there. Empty. The photo's not showing up.

I've clicked every button/setting/menu I can find. In the bottom toolbar there's the option "show open files" or "show files selected in organizer". When I click "show files selected in organizer", a tiny preview of the photo I'd selected shows up in the lower toolbar, but not in the main gray workspace. Taunting me. I've click-dragged, right clicked, etc. when I just try to open the file from PSE, instead of going through organizer, it doesn't work either.
I am unable to open Nikon D7000 NEF files in Elements 8. I have been unsuccessfull in downloading the version 5.7 update from the web site. After downloading several times the files are still not recognized in Elements 8.

It had been working for a long time, I'm not sure when it stopped opening as I do not use the program every day, but now I'm in need of it on a regular basis and the program doesn't open.

I cannot find any way to switch off the auto-hide for the Render Image menu in Inventor Studio 2013. I know how to do it for other menus, and Bobvdd posted a registry hack a couple years ago for 2011. I cannot find anything for this dialog, and I would really like it to stop.

I never use it and its a waste of my time because it takes too long to load up! I don't know if my mouse has a problem, but sometimes I can just click once on a bitmap and it triggers the photo paint to open.

Edited several photos this morning without a problem --But this evening, after editing in LR, clicked command+E to open in Photoshop- as I always do, but didn't get the dialog that gives me the option to edit with LR changes. The files are opening as raw instead of TIFF all of a sudden! I have done nothing different aside from updating the Kubota dashboard.
I deleted the Kubota plug-in since that was the only thing I did out of the ordinary but still no luck. I am deserate to get images edited in LR transferred to PS WITH THE EDITS! Why would it work one minute and not the next?
Just tried to edit in Color Efex from Lightroom and got the dialogue. So...it's only happening with Photoshop. I tried uninstalling Photoshop and reinstalling with updated Camera Raw 6.7 plugin. No luck....

I don't use State Sets so I'm not sure why this dialog is showing.
I've written a program with c#.net for selecting objects and creating block without opening a window in autocad. But when I run its dll in autocad, it makes a block including many of the selected objects by me/user in one block.

There is a process bar which moves very slowly, and a Cancel button.
If i hit Cancel the dialog box goes away and my file loads right away in what ever program I'm using.
My request is: How do i get this stupid box to pop up all the time, when i'm not even wanting to use PSPX3?
This is an annoying change from acad 2007 to acad 2011. Every time I start and end the Mtext command, as the dialog box opens and closes, the screen "shudders", or "jumps" a little. It is hard on my eyes. I have explored the MTEXTFIXED and the MTEXTED commands, but I can't get it to settle down.
