Dec 12, 2013I have LR 5.3 on a Mac running Mavericks. The Info Overlay in the Print Module can not be found with the "I" key? I can see info in the Library.

Oct 1, 2013I have been using Lightroom 5 for a while now and am currently printing some photos. In Lightroom 4 there used to be an info overlay that stated the current printer and paper size that was selected for that printer. I can't seem to find or display that information now in Lightroom 5. I have tried using the "I" key but to no avail.

Oct 12, 2012Sometimes I take a screenshot from within L/R 3.6 and send it by email. Problem is the image name/date/size info. overlay spoils the image. I've looked all over L/R prefs etc but I can't see how to turn the info. off, assuming it's possible to do so?
I used to be able to import pics from my camera into a specific folder on my hard drive. That was until 2 weeks ago. Now my only choice is to import into the folders below. C. drive - where all my digi camera pics are - is no longer there. How do I get L/R import to recognize my hard drive again.

Mar 15, 2013Does Lightroom show bearing info in the map module if it was recorded by a GPS and electronic compass sensor? Some GPS devices, like the Solmeta Geotagger Pro 2 records heading/bearing information to the EXIF data as well as geographic coordinates. Can lightroom display this like a slice of the map highlighted from the position of the image, in the direction the picture was taken with the proper viewing angle calculated from the focal length. I guess it would look like a pizza slice seen from above.

Jul 18, 2012As I review photos clicking on their thumbnails in the book module's film strip on the bottom of the screen I can't seem to find a way to have (1) the name of the photo file displayed and (2) the name of folder where the photo file resides.
In Bridge one has the option to have up to 4 lines of customer-selected information displayed below each thumbnail.
Is there a way do do something similar in Lightroom 4.1 ? How can I view the file name and the name of the folder where it resides as I select the image in the film strip ?

Nov 1, 2013I wanted to create an A4 borderless print in my canon mg6150 from within the print module. I can do a borderless print using the canon easyprint.
I go into page setup and the properties of my printer and set the page layout to borderless and click OK.
However, I am unable to set the margins to zero. When I go back into my page setup and check the page layout, it has reverted to normal so it has ignored my setting.

Jun 29, 2013I am trying to print a 16" x 20" photo through Lightroom's print module. I am using an Epson 3880 printer and 17" x 22" paper. I have done this in Lightroom 4 with no problems. Now I am getting a print that is 16-3/8" x 20-1/2". I have the cell size set at 16" x 20" and borderless printing is turned off. I also checked zoomed to fill. This has also happened on a couple of 12" x 18" photos.

Jun 11, 2012 I managed to get my catalog transferred from Elements 8 and it is now working well. Feeling confident in the Library module I went to move on to the Develop module and now I have another problem, the photos are not showing up to edit. They are visible in the film strip and the top left corner, but not the actual screen. All the metadata is also available.
Possibly a related problem (which may also need a resolution) is:While all the data is there in Library module it is showing metadata conflict for many photos.
BTW some additional information which may be relevant.
-I have already upgraded to 4.1.
-I have the photos on a network drive.
-Photos are Raw DNG format

Most of the time (and I can't see what makes the difference) it prints the JPG to a 96 ppi resolution regardless of what setting I use for resolution.

Jul 27, 2013I just now installed LR5, converting my LR3 catalog to LR5 catalog. Everything seemed to go fine. I picked one photo and converted to the 2012 process. The new sliders appeared.

Lightroom :: 4.1 - Alt / Option In Develop Module Moves User Interface Rather Than Showing Clipping
Aug 12, 2012I am running Lightroom 4.1 on two Macs, both running 10.7.4. On one of the machines the Alt/Option key does not work properly in the Develop module.
When I hold down the Alt/Option key and move the Exposure or Blacks slider I expect to see the clipping display. Instead this action moves the whole of the sidebar of the user interface. I can move it to any place on the screen and off the edge of the screen. Clearly this should not be possible.
The problem machine has a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet attached, so I have tried updating the Wacom drivers, and also removing the Wacom software completely. Neither solves the problem. My other Mac does not exhibit this problem.

Feb 10, 2014I want to print a photo in 5x7in.I have a Epson Stylus Photo PX710W printer. I select it from Page Setup button.Then i select the paper size as 5x7in (13x18cm)
But i couldnt set the margins in same size.Left, right and top can be set as 2,8mm. minimum but bottom can set to 3,2mm.Zoom to fill and rotate to fitt both are selected.
Cell size is: 121,0mm. maximum size.
Cell widht is: 172,1mm. maximum size.
I uninstalled my Printer's drivers and software and reinstalled it, but nothing has changed.Then i reinstalled Lightroom but no changes.I use the latest Lightroom 5.3

Jan 22, 2012When I set a margin with the Print module (Lr v3), does it also include the "page bleed" dimension the printer requires for properly printing the bottom of the page?
The problem I'm having is with printing landscape prints and the left & right margins not being equal. I cannot find anything about the page bleed dimensions for my HP B9180 printer and maybe it varies a bit (1mm?) from one B9180 to another(?) In any case, is there a systematic approach for determining the page bleed for a printer? I imagine the only way to accommodate for the asymetry is to account for it in top/bottom margins, correct(?)
