View 1 RepliesIs it just me or I don't have Pentax in Lens Correction tab in the Develop Module of LR4? How can I add it like it was in LR3?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI refer to Lightroom version 3.6. I have purchased a panasonic-gx1 plus 14-42mm & 45-175mm lenses and would like to add the lens profiles to the lens correction module.
View 1 Replies View RelatedUnless it is hidden away in an area i've yet to discover, where the lens profile/correction module is hiding? Simple enough to enable in 3.5...alas, can't find it in 3.6.
View 3 Replies View RelatedPreforming basic color correction in the develop module. Often I see an image is just a little Cyan or Red, how do you correct. The only controls are blue/yellow or magenta/green.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have Lightroom 5.3 and the Lens Correction feature is not showing up in the Develop module. how to access this feature?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like to set a camera default for a D3 and D7100 -- Settings > Set Default Settings... -- to include a Camera Calibration Profile AND the Lens Correction Profile setting to Enable Profile Corrections and have LR identify which lens is in use for each file.
The Camera Calibration Profile is no problem since it's the same for each respective body, no matter which lens I use.
However, since I use different lenses, I would like the Lens Correction Profle to find the correct lens for each file. In the Lens Corrections > Profile > Setup dropdown, I am not sure whether to use Default or Auto. (Note: the default is Custom, but when I tried that, the D3 lenses were not correctly identified whereas the D7100 lenses were.) I am not sure what the difference is between the Default and Auto settings. I want to be sure to use whichever setting will apply the correct profile, and have this be part of my camera default so that I don't have to visit the Lens Corrections panel over and over again. Note: I only shoot RAW files.
I have a Fuji X-e1 and the latest update of LR 4.4 running on 10.6.8, 16GB RAM, all OS software up to date.
The problem is my Fuji RAW files don't show the correct lens profile in the Develop module. The only choice available to choose is for Fuji X100 (which I've never owned or shot). The metadata in the Library module is correct for both the lens and camera, and also shows correctly in Bridge.
However, with the same software on a friend's Macbook Pro -- also 10.6.8, LR 4.4, etc. -- the lens profile correctly allows for the X-e1 and 18mm lens auto-correction.
I uninstalled LR on the desktop using an uninstaller called Zap It, downloaded 4.4, reinstalled and still the same 'error'.
Why won't the Lens Correction filter recognize my camera and lens, which is shown in the metadata below the correction window? I had been using the venerable Canon 5D Mk II and now the Mk III. For images taken with the III it doesn't even list Canon in the Camera drop down -- too new? Even with the II, I had to choose the camera manually and then choose the lens from a very tedious list, and had no indication if it was using the focal length in the case of a zoom, or the aperture.
I do strongly prefer to do this correction in Camera Raw or Lightroom, and realize it needs to be done on an uncropped image to be accurate. why even present it as an auto correction if it can't use the metadata? Why not just limit it to the manual correction?
I managed to get my catalog transferred from Elements 8 and it is now working well. Feeling confident in the Library module I went to move on to the Develop module and now I have another problem, the photos are not showing up to edit. They are visible in the film strip and the top left corner, but not the actual screen. All the metadata is also available.
Possibly a related problem (which may also need a resolution) is:While all the data is there in Library module it is showing metadata conflict for many photos.
BTW some additional information which may be relevant.
-I have already upgraded to 4.1.
-I have the photos on a network drive.
-Photos are Raw DNG format
I often shoot with 2 cameras to save me changing lenses fequently. However, after I've uploaded my images into LR3 and switch to the 'Develop' module, the images are mixed up (I assume they are ordered by time taken.) How can I filter them by camera model in the image strip at the base of the module? Also, how does the 'Camera Info' option filter? And can it be set?
View 2 Replies View RelatedLR 5.3, Develop module - I seem to have lost all my options under Camera Calibrate. All I have now is Camera Standard and Matrix, where I used to have a slew of options. I'm still using the same camera and lenses, which are known to Adobe, processing RAW files.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI just now installed LR5, converting my LR3 catalog to LR5 catalog. Everything seemed to go fine. I picked one photo and converted to the 2012 process. The new sliders appeared.
The problem: Any changes I make are seen only in the Navigator window, not the main window. I figured there had to be a simple fix, but I've scoured the web and can find no one having similar problems.
I am running Lightroom 4.1 on two Macs, both running 10.7.4. On one of the machines the Alt/Option key does not work properly in the Develop module.
When I hold down the Alt/Option key and move the Exposure or Blacks slider I expect to see the clipping display. Instead this action moves the whole of the sidebar of the user interface. I can move it to any place on the screen and off the edge of the screen. Clearly this should not be possible.
The problem machine has a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet attached, so I have tried updating the Wacom drivers, and also removing the Wacom software completely. Neither solves the problem. My other Mac does not exhibit this problem.
I'm just beginning to work with Photoshop CS5. When I was editing with the camera raw features; I discovered that there had not been a "Lens Profile Correction" loaded for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-L10 with a Leica lens 14-150. I"m looking for a method to get this lens added to the Profile Connection.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't find my lens in the Lens Correction menu. Is there a way to add it?
View 2 Replies View RelatedUsing LR 3.5.1. When applying Lens Corrections/Profile/Enable in Default, my Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 actual lens is being corrected by the profile for a Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 lens. I can tell it's the wrong correction because the barrel distortion after using the default profile is not corrected, and when I manually select the 4-5.6 lens the correction is perfect. So I know the right data is embedded in the LR correction data bank but is not being used.
I found that when I set the profile Setup selector to "Auto" the correct lens is selected and the correction it makes is "correct." But then moving to the next photo it switches to Default again, selecting the wrong lens, and so has to be set to Auto for each photo. This action doesn't seem to me to me an expected result called "Setup." I need this for my home interior photography, and with hundreds of photos a week I don't want to manually operate this. This didn't happen until v.3.4 or 3.5, I think.
So, how do I get it to select the right lens as the Default, or get the Auto setting to stick? Either would do. (Seems to me they logically are the same thing).
In addition, why isn't it possible to have the profile itself enabled as a default perhaps in a preset - or is that possible and I don't know how to do it? In other words, once it's working right, why not make it an import preset for that lens?
I'm trying out the new Sigma 24-105 DG lens with my 5D M II. The lens profile is not yet in the list of Sigma lenses. I checked and my LR is up to date with the latest version 5.3. Is there a way to find the lens profile to import for LR lens correction function? Or do I just need to wait until LR updates for new lenses?

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe main develop module controls have disappeared from the develop window. How do I recover them? I'm working with Lightroom 5.3. The missing controls are the sliders for exposure, contrast, clarity, etc. I must have inadvertantly clicked something that made them disappear but nothing I've tried brings them back. I've never had this experience in the years I've been using Lightroom (since version 1.1).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm an amateur moving up to LR 3 and have been trying to learn this program by reading the LR3 book by Scott Kelby. He shows that the Camera Calibration feature has some settings for specific cameras yet the drop down menu has none listed. I've upgraded to 3.6 and the images were copied from raw to DNG.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am relatively new to Lightroom. I have imported Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 raw (.RW2) files into Lightroom 5.3. When I go into the Develop module under the Camera Calibration the only profile that shows up is Adobe Standard. My camera is supported according to the Adobe web site.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason images in the library module aren’t as sharp compared to the develop module. If I’m in develop images are nice and sharp but as soon as I select the library you can see the image quality drop and image becomes less blurry!
View 4 Replies View RelatedSharpening applied in develop module is not shown when switching back to library module. It looks the problem occurs when having size to "FIT". With 1:1 there seams to be no issue. Export also looks fine in 1:1.
I use Mac 10.9.1, LR5.3, Nikon NEF 24Mbit from D600.
I hope this is a way to get support from Adobe.
I can't process any images as the basic tab has suddenly vanished.how can I get it back?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way of setting the "Lens correction" in LR3 to be on by default? as it is now I have to se tit for each image.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to use Lens Correction in LR 5 I get a restricted number of profiles, none of which match my standard Nikon 28-300mm zoom. However when I open the images in Camera Raw I have automatic access to this profile. I also have access to a custom Fuji profiles which I have downloaded and installed with Adobe Profile Downloader but which don't appear in the Lightroom module. Developing my images in Camera Raw before using Lightroom?
I had always assumed that Camera Raw formed the basis of Lightroom.
