Oct 1, 2012I just upgraded from PSE 7 to PSE 11. Everything seems to have installed and the organiser loads, but I cannot get the editor to load. When selecting editor mode, it attempts to load but then crashes, a window pops up "Adobe photoshop elements 11 has stopped working".
I made a shortcut of the editor to desktop, but it crashes as well. This has happened since install, the editor has never worked.
System: meets all minimum requirments for software to run.

Jul 26, 2013I have installed Elements 11 and it worked OK for about 3 days. When I try to open the editor now it starts to load, then freezes. My PC uses Windows 7, the program is registered & everything else works normally.

Mar 7, 2014PSE 12 was working fine until I updated to 12.1. The opening screen comes up as before when you click on the desktop shortcut. The organizer will start from the opening screen, but not the editor. I changed the option to have the program open the editor directly instead of the opening screen and now nothing appears when you click on the desktop shortcut. I am able to open both the organizer and editor by clicking on their respective exe files in the program folder. I am running Windows 8.1 / 64 on a Dell Inspiron 3847 w/ 8 GB of memory.
