Photoshop Elements :: Organizer Reverting To First Photo After Using Full Screen / Editor On Raw Photos?
Jun 25, 2013I have upgraded from pse9 to 11 and after selecting a photo in organiser then viewing in full screen and enlarging to 100% then exiting, organiser loses the highlight and reverts to the first photo. This also occurs when the photo is edited and saved you have to find where the editedd photo has gone to, it is time consuming when you have a large number of photos in the organiser. pse9 did not do this.Also pse11 does not sort photos properly by the shot date especially when the photos ard edited

Sep 3, 2013This should be an easy task and I am familiar with editing a photo taken from the organizer and then returning it to an album or folder. My problem is with a photo sent to me as an attachment to an email in another program (often Picasa). This photo can be opened in Elements Editor and worked with in the usual fashion but I am stumped on how to then move it in my Organizer and appropriate folder or album.

Dec 10, 2012I have PSE 11 and I am creating a Christmas theme with various pictures. I have my main photo with 6 layers including a tree and figures which I can move independantly and the background is the checkerboard as the main layers are turned off with only my selections showing. I also have another photo where I have selected part of it and also turned off the main layers leaving a small part with checkered background. When I have the main photo loaded and drag the other one from the photo bin with the move tool, nothing appears on the main picture. I have already dragged the Christmas tree in the same way and that worked. By the way, all the files are .PSD.

The first installation was on a computer with low virtual memory. I tried top fix the problem by putting in on my external hardrive. I previously downloaded Elements 11 Editor from Mac iTunes Store, this version does not come with Organizer. I then found I had a copy of organizer with Premiere Elements 11. After install I can use both products fine, but cannot use edior to edit my photos from the Organizer. The message "the feature you selected requires adobe photoshop elements" appears.

Jan 6, 2014I have been using PSE 8.0 for three or four years now, and I have never experienced any problems with it. Today, after installed a Wacom Intuos Creative Pen Tablet, my PSE 8.0 would not open-- nor would Editor and Organizer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, renaming certain files (as read in other answers), creating shortcuts to bypass the Welcome Screen (which also will not appear), among other solutions that I read about for similar problems. Whenever I attempt to open Organizer, a crash report appears, stating that the program has quit unexpectedly--that's all it says. If I try to open PSE 8 or Editor, the circle next to my cursor appears for a moment, but soon it disappears without a single pop-up or explanation as to why the program won't open. Since I cannot access the Welcome Screen, I cannot locate the Preference file to change the name/delete it. If it matters, I use Windows 7.

Jan 4, 2014I recently upgraded from PSE5 to PSE12. The installation went smoothly and my old Catalog was imported without a hitch. After my first test run to edit a file, I did a "Save As" in a version set with the original. I then closed the file, but when I went to the organizer, it was not there. When I go to the folder in Windows Explorer, the edited file is present - I just can't get it to appear (alone or in a version set) in the Organizer. (FYI, I am running Windows 8).

Nov 10, 2012The Organizer and the Editor stopped working together in just 1 of my catalogs. It happens to be the catalog in which I have done the most image manipulations such as renaming, stacking, albums, rating, etc. Now, when I select a photo in Organizer and click on Fix, Edit, the Editor window comes up but the photo does not appear in Editor. The only way I can get an image into Editor is to pull it directly into Editor. Then, when I want to save it as a Version Set I have to choose File> Organize Open File in order to save the image as a version set. Other than deleting and re-creating the catalog, how can I get Editor to open the image from Organizer like it used to do?
