Dec 21, 2012I transfered photos from "My Pictures" to photoshop to fix them but now I'm unable to transfer them back to My Pictures. How can I do it?

Feb 2, 2013Just a few days ago I had about twelve folders of photos in my Organizer. Now I have only two folders that have content. When I click on the other ten folders I see this message in the Media Browser, "No media to be displayed."
I have both Adobe Premiere Elements 11 and Photoshop 11 which I got three weeks ago. The only thing new on my computer is the software that came with my Nikon camera - NX2 - a photo storage and photo editing program. My photos are still in my Windows Pictures program.
Photoshop :: Differences In Transferring Masks To Selection And Back
Aug 5, 2012I make layer mask which is a bit fuzzy, so it merges picture from both layers in some parts. Then I want to save it in order to use it later somewhere, so I convert the mask into a selection. But the selection does not hold the fuzziness of original mask, so when I use it as a mask somewhere else, it varies from original.
I attached the psd file with example what I mean, I have saved mask of the Layer 1 as selection, loaded into Layer 2, created mask, but it is not the same, when I switch on and off visibility of the Layer 2 the picture changes.
Is there a way to make the selection to hold all the information about the mask including fuzziness exactly ?

Oct 29, 2013I used to download photos into the organizer and they would show up in a window that displayed only the current photos being downloaded. I must have done something to change that because now photos go directly to the main organizer window. I have a lot of photos and its getting harder to find them in the mix. how to get that screen back that only displays the newest photos being downloaded at that time?

It sees the folder and subfolder, but not the pictures, even though it imported all of the photos under other folders, and imported the pictures in My Pictures under the C drive. I have tried copying and pasting the images from the Word document into Photoshop but they lose a considerable amount of quality.

Mar 13, 2014I recently set up Elements 12. Prior to this I used elements 11. In that catalog I have more photos that I don't want. So I decided to export the ones I want then import into PSE 12. As I do this many of the dates on the pictures change from the date taken to the current date. I have tried several different ways and can't stop the dates changing. I am putting them into mobile albums in PSE 12 if that makes a difference.

Mar 20, 2013I have been storing my LR catalog and all photos on an external drive, which is now full. I got a new external hard drive and would like to move everything over. I started to copy and paste the root folder - which has all the photo folders and the LR catalog folder. If I copy and paste everything outside of LR and open the catalog in the new location, will LR recognize the photos in the new location?
I also read that the catalog could be moved to the new external hard drive (with LR closed) and the photos moved within LR by creating the root folder on the new and dragging and dropping each folder in Library mode.

Instead of the listing as per the Adobe tutorial as follows: FILE (then) Get Photos & Videos, (or) New, (or) Open recently edited in Editor, (or) Catalogue
My new software lists the following: FILE (then) New, (or) Open, (or) Open As, (or) Open recently Edited File, (or) Duplicate.
[No sign of Catalogue to be found anywhere -- hence impossible to transfer files/catalogues.]
Note: I use elements for its catalogue function with Photoshop CS5 and Bridge CS5. New camera required updated RAW-read ability from the old Elements 5.

The first installation was on a computer with low virtual memory. I tried top fix the problem by putting in on my external hardrive. I would like to transfer my catalog of pictures to him and have it look just like it does on my computer with Album titles, keywords, etc. When we tried to do this by using a backup of my Photoshop Element files, it transferred the pictures and keywords but not the album titles or album organization. Also, the keywords were not in the same keyword categories that I had set up on my computer. Is it possible to do what I want, or do the pictures have to all be reorganized and put into albums again on his computer?
