the organizer has stopped sending photo to edit, full edit workspace opens with no photo. I can still pull a photo in from the edit workspace. i use photoshop elements 9

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from PSE 7 to PSE 11. Everything seems to have installed and the organiser loads, but I cannot get the editor to load. When selecting editor mode, it attempts to load but then crashes, a window pops up "Adobe photoshop elements 11 has stopped working".
I made a shortcut of the editor to desktop, but it crashes as well. This has happened since install, the editor has never worked.
System: meets all minimum requirments for software to run.
Just installed elements 12 (on windows 8), built a catalog but can't load jpg files taken on an LG phone. The pictures load into picture viewer and into elements editor (at which point they are then in the catalog), but I can't import directly.
nothing was imported, the file or folders selected to import did not contain any supported file types or the files are already in this catalog.
the files are jpg and they are not in the catalog.
Ive noticed (scanning the forum) that other people have had issues with LG phones in previous versions of elements
Windows 8 operating system (upgraded from 7) PSE & premier installed from disk, purchased from Amazon.
Organizer has sometimes worked, but the last two times (after re-booting), it has failed.
Out of space for back up, but I can't fix that without getting into the catalogs.
In Elements 12 how do I auto fix multiple pictures, then send them back to the organizer?

The PSE Editor PROCESS continues to run in the Task Manager even AFTER I close the Editor. - and ONLY if I END the Process in Task Manager ( or re-start the computer) will the Editor then launch. Did a clean install. Problem continues.

I previously downloaded Elements 11 Editor from Mac iTunes Store, this version does not come with Organizer. I then found I had a copy of organizer with Premiere Elements 11. After install I can use both products fine, but cannot use edior to edit my photos from the Organizer. The message "the feature you selected requires adobe photoshop elements" appears.

This used to work on elements 8.I used the elements 11 edit preferences menu, and it wouldn't accept my browse of photoshop.exe (the CS version).
This should be an easy task and I am familiar with editing a photo taken from the organizer and then returning it to an album or folder. My problem is with a photo sent to me as an attachment to an email in another program (often Picasa). This photo can be opened in Elements Editor and worked with in the usual fashion but I am stumped on how to then move it in my Organizer and appropriate folder or album.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using PSE 8.0 for three or four years now, and I have never experienced any problems with it. Today, after installed a Wacom Intuos Creative Pen Tablet, my PSE 8.0 would not open-- nor would Editor and Organizer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, renaming certain files (as read in other answers), creating shortcuts to bypass the Welcome Screen (which also will not appear), among other solutions that I read about for similar problems. Whenever I attempt to open Organizer, a crash report appears, stating that the program has quit unexpectedly--that's all it says. If I try to open PSE 8 or Editor, the circle next to my cursor appears for a moment, but soon it disappears without a single pop-up or explanation as to why the program won't open. Since I cannot access the Welcome Screen, I cannot locate the Preference file to change the name/delete it. If it matters, I use Windows 7.
