I have installed Elements 11 and it worked OK for about 3 days. When I try to open the editor now it starts to load, then freezes. My PC uses Windows 7, the program is registered & everything else works normally.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from PSE 7 to PSE 11. Everything seems to have installed and the organiser loads, but I cannot get the editor to load. When selecting editor mode, it attempts to load but then crashes, a window pops up "Adobe photoshop elements 11 has stopped working".
I made a shortcut of the editor to desktop, but it crashes as well. This has happened since install, the editor has never worked.
System: meets all minimum requirments for software to run.
PSE 12 was working fine until I updated to 12.1. The opening screen comes up as before when you click on the desktop shortcut. The organizer will start from the opening screen, but not the editor. I changed the option to have the program open the editor directly instead of the opening screen and now nothing appears when you click on the desktop shortcut. I am able to open both the organizer and editor by clicking on their respective exe files in the program folder. I am running Windows 8.1 / 64 on a Dell Inspiron 3847 w/ 8 GB of memory.

I have photoshop 9.0 and it has been working great but now I cannot load - it starts and then stops before completing the load. It did this last week and then after using spybot it seemed to work but now refuses again. Why is this happening? I have loads of memory.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAlong with giving me a failure after closing telling me to send my dmp file to Corel, but Corel not showing me anyway to do this, my newest error is the best one yet. The program opens with a little window saying "Load from Stream Error" and an OK button. The OK button does nothing. Nothing else can be used. The computer is totally locked up with this wonderful piece of unfinished program in place. My only recourse is to power the computer off manually to restart it. starting VS"pro"4U just locks it down again. Is there a way to clear this without following Corels instructions for every problem. That being to remove and reload the program. The next time I remove it will be to throw it and it's boxed installation disk in the trash can, then go out and buy something a bit more reliable. Like Adobe's little girl Premier, or Sony's video editing program.

I have an addin that needs to load when the autocad loads or when user type the command. It works fine with autocad 2012 but does not work with 2013. The addin dll is located in %appdata%autodeskApplicationPlugins. If I use Netload command to load the dll in 2013 and it works fine. However, when i click on the PSE shortcut on my desktop it opens the welcome screen. When i click on Organizer it opens just fine. When I tried to open PSE editor, Adobe required product registration, which I did. LR created a duplicate TIFF file and everything, and the window popped up asking if I wanted to Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments, etc., and then PSE 11 Editor opened up fine the very first time. (However it didn't seem like some of the tools were working properly, but that's another question for another time.) Subsequent attempts to open the PSE Editor either from Elements itself and LR4 have failed. Editor will not open.

Computer is new HP Envy w/2.4GHz chip, 8 Gb memory and 1 Tb drive and Nvidia graphics card. Running Windows 8 64 bit, AVG antivirus with windows firewall.
My X4 cdr file starts to load and suddenly X4 shuts down instantaneously. Same with the backup. Can it be repaired?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just received Adobe Photoshop Elements (APE) 11 for Christmas. I downloaded with CD yesterday; I downloaded many photos from my camera and everything seemed to work fine. Today, I can access the photos with the "Organizer" and do quick fixes, but I cannot access the full Editor. I am going down to the "EDITOR" buttom on the Task Bar at the bottom of my screen. All other aspects of this product opens and works fine . Unfortunately I cannot use the editor or open photos previously modified in the editor. I can open the editor if I log in in safe mode but no other way. I have done 2-3 clean installs as described in previous articles, there are no errors just won't open.
