Oct 2, 2012we have a new lab in our district with Autocad 2010 64-bit version installed on HP Compaq 8022 Elite SFF computers. There is 4 GB memory on the computers and a Quadro 400 graphics card. Autocad and Windows 7 64-bit have both been updated to the latest versions. The Autocad application locks up almost every time someone chooses the new document icon, or when they try to 'save as'. Sometimes when they choose to open a new document first, close that dialogue box, then try to choose the new document icon it works ok. But, for the most part, the application is unuesable. Some possible solutions we found online that don't work are to not use the Aero themes (we don't) and to not use Norton AV (we don't).

I've tried to run it from Start->(..)->Inventor and any possible location but nothing worked. I've also tried solution with deleting C:ProgramDataAutodeskADLMCascadeInfo.cas file but this doesn't worked either. Autodesk DWG True View, ReCap and others work correctly. Dec 20, 2006Some time ago, the Gimp stopped responding to my mouse in the image window. In other windows and on menus the mouse works fine (ie I can select brushes and such and use the interface without problems), but in the image window (or more precisely, the canvas area) it's as if the mouse doesn't even exist. All kinds of clicks are ignored, the rulers doesn't show the position of the cursor, and the position in the lower left also isn't updated (it isset once upon entering the window, but after that it's dead).
This originally happened out of the blue one day while using Gimp 2.2.11 . I tried upgrading to 2.2.12 and then 2.3.13, without success. I also deleted the ~/.gimp*directory in the hope that regenerating the config would fix the problem, but no.
No matter what I do, I can't make the Gimp recognize the mouse in the image window. The mouse isn't anything special, and it used to work with the exact same X config I've got now. I haven't changed the xorg.conf file in several months. The Gimp is the only application with this problem.
This is on a dual-core amd64 processor in 64-bit mode (haven't tried 32-bit), Linux kernel 2.6.18, Xorg 7.1.

Jan 12, 2013This is a incosistent problem, in which I cannot determine why it's happening and it doesn't happen all the time. I often restart Lightroom and it is ok after that.
In a small area of the screen the curser doesn't function. I cannot select an image or anything in that area while in the library module and when in the develop module brushes change back to the arrow icon and don't allow me to click in that area.
This is my first time using Lightroom and am currently using version 4.3 that I downloaded from the Mac App store. I am running a new MacBook Pro with OS 10.8.2 Mountain lion.

- Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit
- ACAD2011 with 1.1
- Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS (not a supported graphic card from what I know)

Since we got that out of the way let's get to it.
A week ago I was told that a lot of times the PC's freeze when you try to "Save", "Save as" or "Open" a file (we open/save on a network drive). If that happens we have to restart the PC and hope it doesn't happen again, but since this happens quite a lot (over the course of four days about 27 times on 7 PC's) I tried to fix this.
I installed the patch, updated the drivers for the graphic card and reinstalled NET Framework 4. The problem didn't occur as often but it still happened sometimes.

May 31, 2012Every so often when I save for web and try to change the resolution to something else it doesn't update. CS5 had an apply button, but there isn't one CS6. I find that I have to enter different numbers a few times until it finally updates and I can save.

Premiere Pro :: Warp Stabilizer Freezes Every Single Time - Doesn't Work
Jan 17, 2014I just downloaed the Premier Pro CC 30 day trial. I edited some nice video and was strongly considering adding this to my Photoshop/Lightroom subscription. However, warp stabilzer has not worked once for me. Even on clips as short as 6 seconds.
What happens is that when I drag "warp stabilzer" over a clip it analyzes the clip showing a blue banner stating "step 1 analyzing". Then after a short wait an orange banner appears and states "Stabilizing". Thats when the process stops. It stays locked in that orange banner stabilzing position permanently. I waited 3 hours for a 6 second clip and it still said "stabilizing".
Obviously something is drastically wrong. Had it not been for that I would have probably signed up for a subscription to Premium Pro CC.
I'm on a Windows 7 Pro, i7, 12 gigs of ram setup. Seperate scratch disk used also. Everything else on Premium Pro CC seems to work fine. I don't understand why warp stabilizer doesn't.

When saving a file using the 'Save' option (not 'Save As') the file is not staying at the size of the artboard as it should, it is however being aurtomatically cropped down to the actual artwork size. This is causing issues with the Process we work with as we need the file to stay at the artboard size.If I click 'Save As' and change the Adobe PDF Preset to 'Press Quality' then this works, however this means that every file we save(which is quite alot in a day) means we have to go through the 'Save As' option and manually change each save.why this has suddenly started to happen with our Illustrators and do you know how to fix this so that it stays at the Artboard size when 'Save' is used?

Apr 24, 2012Whenever I attempt to open a non-native format file from outside of Inventor it launches a fresh instance of IV. Currently I've been working around it by dragging the file to the status bar of IV, but at least a few times a week I forget and double click it.
Some scouring of the web and these boards yielded some info concerning this problem as it pertains to native formats, but I haven't been able to find anything for neutral formats. I'm sure it requires a registry key tweaking, but I'm not comfortable enough with regedit to go in there and just start changing stuff without some level of guidance. The problem occurs whether the files are opened from windows or an internet browser (tried firefox and ie). I suspect that every format I ever wanted to open would require a separate edit, in that case I'd be perfectly happy with just a fix for .step files. That would at least have me set for 90% of my downloads and offer an improvement to my overall sanity level.
