I have photoshop 9.0 and it has been working great but now I cannot load - it starts and then stops before completing the load. It did this last week and then after using spybot it seemed to work but now refuses again. Why is this happening? I have loads of memory.

When I render in lower settings, there is no such problem.
Got a new Windows 8.1 PC. Successfully transferred all photos (about 12000) to the new hard drive. When I open Photoshop and use "get photos from files and folders", I can locate the pix but when I try to import them, the process starts then stops without bringing any to the organizer.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAlong with giving me a failure after closing telling me to send my dmp file to Corel, but Corel not showing me anyway to do this, my newest error is the best one yet. The program opens with a little window saying "Load from Stream Error" and an OK button. The OK button does nothing. Nothing else can be used. The computer is totally locked up with this wonderful piece of unfinished program in place. My only recourse is to power the computer off manually to restart it. starting VS"pro"4U just locks it down again. Is there a way to clear this without following Corels instructions for every problem. That being to remove and reload the program. The next time I remove it will be to throw it and it's boxed installation disk in the trash can, then go out and buy something a bit more reliable. Like Adobe's little girl Premier, or Sony's video editing program.
This looks so nice, if it just worked. I have quite a few hours into a video and just wanted to add a new title when this started.
I have an addin that needs to load when the autocad loads or when user type the command. It works fine with autocad 2012 but does not work with 2013. The addin dll is located in %appdata%autodeskApplicationPlugins. If I use Netload command to load the dll in 2013 and it works fine. But I need that addin to load either when user type the command or when autocad start up. I have checked the [URL]

I have this button that, when clicked, opens a new URL - window.open("http://www.xxxxxx.xxx", "_self"); - after playing a 1000 ms animation. The problem is that it changes to the new URL too soon, before completing the 1000 ms. I tried a setTimeout, and it worked great, but it's not so elegant as it depends on the user's computer/net speed...

When Photoshop opens, the layer panel starts closed so no layers can be seen, like this.
It should start opened, like this.
Even if the workspace is reset (e.g. 'Essentials (Default)'), it still happens after Photoshop is re-opened.
This issue only started occurring recently. MC CS6 PS, Windows 7 64-bit.
I installed Elements 12 on my new computer and imported my backup file from Elements 8 on the old computer. The photos all came across and the catalog was converted. However, as soon as I start Organizer, Elements closes down. I am using Windows 8.

I fail at decribing things, but whatever. So I started messing around with the settings and now it's messed up even more. It just shows up the line, and I can't connect points. It's just like...once again, I fail at describing things. So I was wondering. How do I get it to go back to normal?! I can't get rid of the background any other way because I also fail at using the eraser, extract tool, and quick selection.

If I open up a JPG image in Photoshop, make some edits, then use the 'save as' command (using a lower quality setting), overwriting the current file open, will saving it again further compress the image that is currently open? Or does photoshop store the original file (when it was first opened) information until closed?
The spot and healing brush seems to work a little, but then leaves dark smudges or even complete dark lines. Also seems to pick up other objects in the picture as if it is copying a section of the picture. Have tried to reset, but nothing works.

I have the text the way I want it, but it's OVER the video. I want the text to come up first then the video. The only way I was able to accomplish this is by drag and dropping the video into overlay track timeline. That won't work b/c I have to overlay the track yet. I know I can overlay then save then reimport. but something as basic as delaying when the video portion starts by 8 seconds should be simple. If I want an 8 second delay before my video starts how do I "insert" that delay before the video note: I want a HARD delay not fade in fade out.
I have problem with rendering. I record Videos on my Panasonic SDT750 and they are in AVCHD format. I usually use two options Render video "same as first clip" (whilst all videos are the same) or upload to you tube in 16:9 format. When I start to render, the process starts and just stop sometimes at 2% sometimes at 4% and dosen't show any error message. It worked previously with no problem.
I tried to restart the software, nothing.. I tried to re-install, nothing.. This problem seems to occure after latest update. My desktop spec. should be ok, like I said it worked fine before.
I run Win7 Professional 64bit, processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz, 3601 Mhz, 4 Core(s), RAM: 16GB and graphics card: GeForce GTX 570 from NVIDIA.
I didn't make no changes in settings, everything is as it was first time installed.
I have a timeline where the actual movie and music start at 10:00:00:00. Before that, I have a black chart with names on it. There is no audio underneath. But when I export a quicktime file, it pulled the music up front to the first frame of my chart (therefore, the music is too short now and out of sync...) Why is smoke doing that and how can I get Smoke to output the qt correctly?

When I start AutoCAD with the SDI value on 1 to start a new drawing, everything is going well. But when I start an existing drawing, AutoCad starts twice, the first bare and the second with the required drawing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've owned X4 Pro for about a year and just now purchased X5 Pro/Ultimate. We use it for our voice over business, which on occasion needs to edit videos for very simple projects. VS seemed to fit the bill at its price point, but now I'm second guessing my decision.
The issue is the time it takes from hitting the "Play" button to the time it actually begins. I would have thought it to begin instantly. But instead it takes 2 ~ 3 seconds to start. It has been this way with both X4 and X5. Before you ask, it has been this way using the following setups:
Windows XP with both stock motherboard video and with Asus Geforce 210 (VS X4)
Windows 7 with both stock motherboard video and with newly bought MSI R6850 Cyclone 1GD5 Power Edition (both VS X4 & X5)
Types of videos used: every type of file extension I could get my hands on and every type of length (full length movies to a few second snippets).
I have my CUI properties set to start on model space, but everytime I open a new drawing it starts on the layout1 tab. I would like new drawing to start in model space. Just a preference thing.
