I have the main screen pop up and asks if I want to organize my pictures or edit them. Nothing happens when I clock edit. Then I go into the organize and try to go to edit and an error message comes up saying I need the trial to dowload to use this. I try clicking downlaod and nothing happens?

I went to get it in yesterday and I received a notice that my trial version has expired and am unable to get in to photoshop completely. I don't recall doing it but I might have downloaded a trial verious last year. how do I remove that trial version and begin using my licensed version? Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?

I have been able to select it in preferences advanced but when I right click a photoand chose external edit, the editor opens but the photo does not. View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.
On start up it gives the following message ( see below ) as a 30 day trial.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA few months ago I bought and downloaded Photoshop Elements 12 from Adobe's website due to my Elements 8 crashing before it opens. For about a month it worked fine, but when I clicked on the logo Elements 12 wouldn't open. I would right-click my images and try to open them in Elements 12 but a window would pop up saying "Photoshop Elements 12 Editor has stopped working" (I use Windows). Using Safe Mode I fixed Elements 12 so that the window appears where I can click between Organizer and Editor. Organizer works fine, but when I click editor the loading bar appears and the "Stopped Working" screen would appear again. how I can use Editor on Elements 12 again?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using PSE 11 on an old XP pc for a couple of months - slowly. Assembled new pc around Intel 4770K (using on-chip Intel 4600 graphics) with Windows 8 64bit. When I open any photo file in the Editor, there is no error mesage, but the photo does not open. The same photos are displayed in the PSE Organizer.
I have read about updating video drivers and have done that. After doing another round of video driver updates this morning while on phone line with Adobe Support, I was able to open a couple of files, but then shut down and went to work.
Now after booting up again PSE is back to not displaying the open files again. The installed video driver remains the one installed this morning after which this did work. There are no more newer versions.
I assembled this pc for this purpose - having thousands of old slides and film to digitize and cleanup.
Also - the files that fail to open are logged into history and show in the editor Open menu as recent files, even though they have never actually been opened.
I have Photoshop Elements 11 running in Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
When I double click a jpg file to open it in the editor the editor opens but the image does not open. However if I open the editor and open any jpg file then double click on another file it will open.
I have been using El 11 off and on for the past month but for some reason the Editor Worspace is not responding today.
View 2 Replies View RelatedPSE 12 was working fine until I updated to 12.1. The opening screen comes up as before when you click on the desktop shortcut. The organizer will start from the opening screen, but not the editor. I changed the option to have the program open the editor directly instead of the opening screen and now nothing appears when you click on the desktop shortcut. I am able to open both the organizer and editor by clicking on their respective exe files in the program folder. I am running Windows 8.1 / 64 on a Dell Inspiron 3847 w/ 8 GB of memory.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen opening a photograph in recently installed version of PSE11 they all appear oversaturated. I have checked all images in Canon DPP and Serif Photoplus 5 and they are fine.
PSE 11 was OK initially. The only changes I have made were to install a printer profile for my Canon Pixma IP4200 and calibrate my screen. However, printed images are fine.
Running in Vista.
When I right click on an image in Windows Explorer or Adobe Bridge, then click on "open with", in the list of image viewers and programs, Photoshop Elements is not listed. When I browse to the PE11 .exe file to select it, nothing happens. How can I set PE11 to be the default photo editing program?

All other aspects of this product opens and works fine . Unfortunately I cannot use the editor or open photos previously modified in the editor. I can open the editor if I log in in safe mode but no other way. I have done 2-3 clean installs as described in previous articles, there are no errors just won't open.

My question is, do you get a choice as to which version you install? I have no interest in the extended version and want to try out the standard version only. Don't really want to have to figure out which features are in standard and which in extended.
