May 4, 2009I am running on a 32-bit Vista operating system and I recently downloaded the trial version of photoshop CS4, but I have not been able to successfully install it. It will start to install and then stop with and this error message will pop up:
I always make sure my virus/firewall software is switched off whenever installing and I have tried many troubleshooting solutions to solve the problem, but everytime I keep getting this error message come up.

The available versions were 6.5, 6.6, and 6.7 from the adobe website. I also downloaded the Adobe App Manager as it was required to install the updates. The downloading process for all 3 versions worked fine. However, when I tried to install using the adobepatchinstaller, it didn't work. And I tried on all version individually. They all gave me the same message: not the right patch.

Nov 16, 2008I've downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS4 Extended.
When I click the setup.exe it starts running and works until it reaches the loading setup menu.
Then a error pops up.
The title of the message box is "Windows Internet Explorer" and the message is "Critical errors were found in setup." And it also said to look in the setup log.
The log file contained this message " FATAL
Critical errors were found in setup
TypeError:'undefined' is null or not an object"
I'm using XP (SP3) and my computer is well above the minimum requirements.

so i tried to install the update.... installed it fine, kept getting the same message when i would try to open the photo. after researching online i found the suggestion of uninstalling and reinstalling photoshop elements. i did that once, tried the update again...same results. uninstalled again. tried the update again and still getting the same message. ive checked the adobe website and everywhere i look says the version of the camera raw DOES support my camera (nikon D7100).

I have the product serial number or license and it is in my profile. I don't recall doing it but I might have downloaded a trial verious last year. how do I remove that trial version and begin using my licensed version? Jan 14, 2013Apologies if this has been dealt with before but a quick search hasn't revealed anything. Downloaded Elements 10 Editor from the Apple App Store and have been using it without problems.
Have just updated my EOS5 to an EOS5D Mk.III, downloaded the latest RAW Plug-in but I keep getting an error message saying this update is "not for me". The work around is to covert files to dng and then open but this creates lots more files. So in a nutshell how do I update the RAW converter?
