I'm trying to zoom a photo by right clicking but the zoom icon shows only in some areas of the picture (mostly on the left side). Everywhere else, right click takes me to the next photo?
View 1 RepliesIn the image below I have an aerial photo of an Island. I need to make it so as water areas are black and land areas are white (not greyscale) almost like a silhouette. My first plan was to draw round the island with a black paint brush and then use the "bucket fill" with a suitable threshold to fill all of the areas up to the black outline with black, however this doesn't work as the bucket fill either breaks through the black line or when I reduce the threshold, doesn't color the water areas solidly.

I've used lightroom for a few weeks. I was playing around with the Navigation bar settings. Now my zoom won't work.
1. When I move the cursor near a corner or edge of the photo, the cursor appears as a magnifying glass, and the zoom works just fine.
2. When the cursor is anywhere else on the photo, then the cursor appears as an arrow symbol. And when I click once or twice on the photo in order to zoom, the photo being displayed just switches to another other photo a few behind or forward in the sequence.
I used to be able to click or double click anywhere on the photo being displayed, and I could zoom in on that spot. I wish lightroom were working as it was.
In previous versions of Max, if you locked an object and were in the Move command, the move icon would show up no matter where you were in the viewport. Now, even if the object is locked, it will only show up while hovering over the object. My question is, was this intentional, or is there a way to turn it on and off? For my workflow this is a highly annoying change. I work without gizmos on. I only use axis constraints and I lock everything before I move it. I can still move things from anywhere in the viewport if the selected object is locked. The problem is that I can never tell that things are locked because the way of knowing (move icon always on) is now gone. I can always look down at the lock icon, but getting used to this is proving difficult.

It is only happening when the photo is sized to Fit. At other sizes, the cursor is normal.
This just started after I finished using the Adjustment Brush. I had used Cntrl + to zoom a photo while using the Adjustment Brush.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIve noticed since upgrading to CS 5.5 that when I zoom way in on an image in Photoshop, a grid shows up around the pixels at 500% + zoom. I don't mind it all that much but there are times when I don't want that grid to show. I'm sure there is a toggle somewhere in the preferences to turn this on and off completely but it would be nice to have a key command. Not sure if that exists

2) For some reason I cannot peform the simple task of drawing a line by picking a point and then entering a distance. Ever since I've been drafting with cad I have been able to type "line" in the command line and then am asked to "specify first point" (I do so), and am asked to "specify second point" (which I do). Normally I do this in ortho mode (0, 90, 180 etc.) For example, using 25', I lead the cursor to the right as my "second point", and the line normally shows up 25' to the right. This is not happening now for some reason. After I specify my second point as 25', the command linen states, "point or option keyword required" and does not draw the line. I'm sure the solution is an easy one but I've never seen this happen before.
I have family that lost a daughter to an accident and I just took some family photos. The family wants me to put a small photo of her in the upper corner of the family photos.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI loaded 2013 Civil 3D and I customized my Ribbon with Zoom Commands I use frequently; everything looked fine...I changed the Workspace to Planning & Analysis and cutomized my Ribbon to include the Zoom Commands but a Button Icon for ZOOM_TO_POINT came up with a cloud & question mark. I went to look for the Icon Image & I don't see it. I made the mistake of changing the Icon to another hoping I could change it back but it's not there. I went to the 2012 verison & the Button Icon is there...first icon listed. Where are the icons in 2012 so I can drag & drop image into 2013?
The icon has a point symbol with a magnifying glass. I've checked other computers and the same thing. Can't find the Image Icon for ZOOM_TO_POINT. It shows up when you load the software but if you want to edit it...it's not there in the CUI Button Icons.

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen I opened up a picture I had drawn to start colouring it, it was being displayed in wrong colours.
It seems to be lighter and has more yellow and red in it.
I dont recall changing anything.
This is only how the image is displayed though when you look at it on photoshop. Because after you save it, you can open in in paint or whatever and its back to its original colours.
If i start a brand new picture from scratch, and then save it and open it up in another programme the picture is significantly darker and bluer.
So I think it has something to do with the way that photoshop is viewing the picture.
Heres an example using a random magazine picture:
In Photoshops CS6 when applying an Iris blur the picture turns black. When I move the pins around I see the picture but this goes away as soon as no pin is moved.
This behaviour has been reported on other webpages before but there has been no solution and people think it is caused by a graphics driver bug. I have updated the latest Photoshop and system updates.

I have a problem where no arrow shows next to the picture tube. I went to the PSP folder and they are there in folder 10. How do I get them into the program so the arrow shows up and I can add the picture tube I want to my picture. I am running Windows 7 home premium. x64

At first I thought maybe it couldn't'nt work with the dng format and then I tried opening a jpeg in the liquify filter, same problem.I've had no problems in CS5 and I'm working on the same computer.
It is relatively easy to extract a swatch-table from a picture, but is there a way in Photoshop or Illustrator to display the relative percentages of the colors in a picture (for example: 70% black, 24% white, 2% yellow, 4% blue, etc.)? So I don't mean the RGB-percentages but the amount of a certain colortone in the picture. The swatch only shows the colortones, not their quantitative percentage in the picture.

Then for most of the images when I add a tag the album icon is gone and is replaced by a beige tag icon. But for some of the images, when I add the tag I get separate green album and blue tag icons. Even by printer. Everything was in vain.But once it is transferred to the documents files it goes back to the original size.
