Photoshop :: Open A Picture In Filter It Shows Only A Blue Screen

I've just started using Photoshop CS6 via Creative cloud. (Before i used a DVD version of CS5)I'm having a weird problem with the liquify filter:When I want to open a picture in the filter it shows only a blue screen... Why? What happened?

At first I thought maybe it couldn't'nt work with the dng format and then I tried opening a jpeg in the liquify filter, same problem.I've had no problems in CS5 and I'm working on the same computer.
when i go into the editor and pull up a picture and blue background appears behind the picture and circle enters the screen. how do i get out of this?
It was working fine. Â Then I just did a simple command (pattern a part) and the entire workspace blinked out. Â The first time it happened I hit UNDO and it was back. Â So I got out of the drawing and got back in and tried the pattern again. Same issue but this time when I hit UNDO it would not come back. Â I closed the file without saving and when I went back in the file the workspace is still nothing but white screen. Â In the browser everything is still visible except for those that I had already changed to invisible. Â I tried making an invisible to visible and nothing happened. Â I got out and tried opening the "old version" which should've been before any of this happened and it is also blank. Â I can go to an ipt or iam in the browser and hit open and it will open in another screen just fine. Â I just can't see my main assembly. Â I have Inventor 2012. Â It shows no errors or messages. Â I have even rebooted. Â
I looked thru the forum and found a past issue back in 2005 identical. Â I tried doing Find in Window on an item in the browser but for some reason that option is not even in the list when I right click.
when i paint with the color #00a8ff It will come out has black It looks something like this!Also there's wierd artifacts i see in the color's like this. Look in the really dark blue u can see black pixels.
I have used "Share My Screen" meeting feature a few times on my machine.
a client and it gave me the blue screen of death crash and forced a restart. After it did this 3 times I gave up.

I had installed the NewBlue title Ex which link one gets when one registers VS X5. Since I did not prefer the same (compared to heroglyph) i uninstalled it, but the name NewBlue Titler Ex still appears inthe drop down FX menu tab. Is there some way to remove this redundant entry?
When working in the Liquify filter, my image turns blue and white. See screen capture. I never had this problem in previous versions of Photoshop, before CS6. Is there a way to view the image itself instead of the blue silhouette?
I"m using photoshop cs5 and the liquify filter dosen't show any effect until after I've clicked ok. I've checked, and unchecked "show backdrop" and the opacity is set to 100%.
I am trying to map hundreds of fabric pattern to a window curtain for catalog purpose. So I am thinking to shoot the displace map with white fabric so that the displace map will clearly distinguish between the black, gray and white.
Then I took a step further, I am thinking to use a green fabric with red border on the bottom of the curtain so that I can tell photoshop to map pattern A with green and pattern B with red.
However, I am concern that since green and red panel with shadow and highlight isn't exactly the same as white fabric with shadow and highlight; therefore, the displacement of the fabric pattern will be different between white background and colored background.
How do I solve this? Is there any way to tell photoshop to convert colored fabric to a "white" fabric with all the shadow and highlight accurately represent?
I have an issue where in Photoshop, opening a menu and clicking on something like, File > New or any other option, will leave a blue shadow on my screen, of that menu item. It persists over every program until I restart the computer, even if Photoshop has been closed. This has only happened in the last week. Â Is this an issue with Photoshop, or is it my computer?
Windows Vista Home PremiumHP Pavillion m7790yPSE 7.plenty of space on the hard discs and plenty of RAM. PSE 7 worled fine for months until a few days ago. Now, when I launch 7, the initial welcome screen (chose Organizer, Editor etc) appears for half a second, then the conmpture crashes with a blue screen error message saying that a bad driver was detected that caused the computer to shut down. Here are all the things I have tried - none worked. I did a deep scan in Safe Mode with my antivirus - results cleanI ran the Winodws utilities to check for errors in memory and hard drive - results clean.I used the Windows driver updater to update each and every driver - no failures.I reinstalled PSE 7I reinstalled my HP printer softwareI read the Windows event manager messages about this crash and all that it says is that I have a driver problem.
For some reason, in CS3 I have an opening in the editing space which allows other applications, or the finder, to show through. Â How can I grey out that space so it isn't transparent?
The program opens normally and after 3-5 seconds I get a blue screen crash. Just before the crash, photoshop displays a message about a problem with the display driver and GPU. I am unable to read the entire message before the system crashes. I re-installed the video driver and CS4 but the problem persists.  This is a recent phenomena (two days ago). I capture a lot of brochures from holiday trips etc including outline maps of local areas. I then add rthese to albums, shows etc.
When I scan these, they frequently include a significant blue (sometimes grey) tint most noticeable at the edges or on folds in the items being scanned, presumably representing areas where the contact between the document and the glass is not quite as good as elsewhere.
I've tried weighing down the scanner lid, but I've not noticed any noticeable improvement.I'm now playing with the settings to see if I shoude be tweaking anything to improve this.
In the meantime, I'm left with a number of docs to clean. I've been doing this with the clone tool, but it is very time consuming.
When I go to open photos - they are opening in blue-green-purple colors as if a filter is being applied. The color pallette is also appearing with the same blue-purple colors. In the layers pallette - the icon of the image appears in the normal colors and no filters, etc. have been applied. It's all starting from when selecting the photo to be opened in photoshop.Â
when I opened up a picture I had drawn to start colouring it, it was being displayed in wrong colours.
It seems to be lighter and has more yellow and red in it. I dont recall changing anything.
This is only how the image is displayed though when you look at it on photoshop. Because after you save it, you can open in in paint or whatever and its back to its original colours.
If i start a brand new picture from scratch, and then save it and open it up in another programme the picture is significantly darker and bluer.
So I think it has something to do with the way that photoshop is viewing the picture. Heres an example using a random magazine picture:
I would like to create like a blue filter to cover my picture to make them "blueish". so for example, a picture in black&white will become somehow a little more blue. if i have a picture representing a garden, everything should turn to blue tints.
This happened 3-4 times when I was using the trial version and I wasn't sure which program from the trials that was doing it, but it started after I downloaded and used the Adobe Clound trials so I stopped using them. Eventually I went ahead and upgraded to the subcription and have been using Illustrator and Muse for a few days now and have not had a problem until today. I had Photoshop open and minimized, as well as Illustrator, and walked away from my desk. When I returned, the screen was blue with the Windows "shut down to prevent further damage" screen. I have a photo of the message. I realized that I had been using Photoshop the last few times this happened also. It never happened before I tried this software and stopped when I stopped using the trial.
For some reason the 'Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar' option has a blue background now. The background used to be gray, and then one time i opened up Photoshop and now the background is blue. It is very annoying and affects my painting. The grey was neutral, now it is blue so my colors are going to appear off.
If you don't know what i mean: Open Photoshop, make a canvas (new image) Hit the key "F" on your keyboard 2 times so the canvas takes up the entire page but the menu bars are still up. The color around the canvas is Blue, when it has ALWAYS been gray.
to download the New Blue Cartoon filter. I Selected the Host Platform as Windows In the free effects set up box VS was already selected Destination folder was designated as prog files New blue free effects for windows.
In the New Blue Free Effects install Assist for VS box it said that the path would be to the vft.plug (via prog filesUL SystemsULVS11). In my VS11+ vft_plug folder-- New Blue Cartoonr,vtf files 131kb and date modified 26 06 2010 showed.
But the filter is not there in the filter library of VS.Did not show on reboot either.I was not asked to register.
In Photoshops CS6 when applying an Iris blur the picture turns black. When I move the pins around I see the picture but this goes away as soon as no pin is moved. Â This behaviour has been reported on other webpages before but there has been no solution and people think it is caused by a graphics driver bug. I have updated the latest Photoshop and system updates. Doing a photo merge of 6 different pictures, I have a systemic blue screen crash using Photoshop CS6 extended. There is a win32k.sys error message (page fault in non paged area). Â I tried my photo merge 5 times (once with only 2 pictures) and it always crashed. I have 32 Gb RAM and a i7 3960-X CPU + a GeForce 690 GPU.
When I open PS my powerbook screen turns a a light blue like a photofilter had been applied to it. The second I shot down the app, my screen color returns to normal. This only happens with PS not LR, AI or any other app I have. Also it just started last night and is continuing to be troublesome today. Obviuose I cannot properly correct photos when everything has a blue tint to it.
It is relatively easy to extract a swatch-table from a picture, but is there a way in Photoshop or Illustrator to display the relative percentages of the colors in a picture (for example: 70% black, 24% white, 2% yellow, 4% blue, etc.)? So I don't mean the RGB-percentages but the amount of a certain colortone in the picture. The swatch only shows the colortones, not their quantitative percentage in the picture.
When I click on the PS 10 the organizer rectangle comes up, but, when I click it the blue screen freezes at the initializing model point and won't go to the list of albums. But, if I click on the Edit, instead, the blue screen goes to the full page with its fix tools. If I click on show items in the bin the whole list of usable albums comes up. I have run every fix and scan I can think of. Premier elements does the same, but, CS6 is fine.
I recently built a PC for photo editing, and I am receiving the BSOD at different points when Lightroom is open. The first time it happened was when I was moving about 1000 raw files from one folder to another (did it twice to me doing that). From there, I grabbed the latest video card driver from Nvidia, and I also went into the bios and set my memory back to "Auto" rather than 1600 (which is what it's rated for). Thought maybe it was hardware related. Everything was going fine, I did some editing, and then while it was just sitting there with LR3 open, I got the BSOD again.  Here is what I'm running:  CPU - i7 3.4ghz 2600k Mobo - Asus P8Z68-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z68 RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 System SSD - Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F120GBGT-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III     -I have Windows 7 64-bit, Photoshop CS5.5 and Lightroom 3 installed on this drive and I also have current project photo files stored on this. Once done editing, I export them to a 1TB HDD. Video - EVGA GeForce GTX 560 (Fermi) 1GB   Here are the details after logging into Windows after the crash:

I am using Lightroom 4.3 on Windows 7 pc. I have a collection with approximately 650 images. I was working in the collection and had all the images selected. Somehow I inadvertently must have hit a keyboard shortcut that effected all the images. All of the images are negatively effected and they now look terrible. When I go to the History Panel, all the images have "blue filter" as their most recent entry. If I select one image and go back to the step before the "blue filter" everything looks fine again. My problem is I have this effect in 650 images. When I try and do the change in one image and then synch to the rest, I don't know what box to check to remove this "blue filter" that has been added to all the images. I know I can do them one by one, but with 650 images, it's a long and tedious process. Any way I can remove the "blue filter" from multiple images in a collection?
When I preview or play a slideshow in Lightroom 5 I see a black screen. I've tried it using various settings, images, lengths, and with the show saved or unsaved, all with the same result. In a preview I can see the show advancing through the slides; all remain black. Â Sometimes (unpredictably) the screen isn't black, but rather two colors or color washes separated diagonally. Â There are no videos in the shows. (A black screen for a slideshow with a video as the first slide is a known issue mentioned in the Lightroom Journal.) Â Exporting to pdf works properly. An exported video shows as a black screen. Â (Mac Pro, OS X 10.7.5, Radeon X1900 XT video card)
