Is there any way to automatically export only the pictures I've enhanced during the develop phase? I was resolved to Ctrl-Click on the ones at the bottom filmstrip that I could 'see' that I had edited (about 15 out of a hundred) and then export to a subdirectory. Maybe someway to filter that bottom filmstrip to only the pictures I've edited/enhanced?

In connection with backup of the cataloque -unfortunately I lost the connection with my external HD - and thereafter the cataloque has corrupt in the way, that all pictures are to be find in the keyword list,. Most of the pictures can be viewed in "Library" - but I can´t edit them i "Develop". I get the message : "The folder could not be found"
Restoring it back to "normal" order to have full control over my photos again?
My Lightroom is 5.3 and my OS is Win7 proff.
The cataloque is on my C-drive and all of my pictures are on a external 2 TB HD

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using the last version of Lightroom (3.6 if I'm not wrong) and I'm facing a very uncomfortable issue with the Develop module.
I adjusted precisely every color luminance and saturation so it looks rather good in the Develop preview (set to fit), and did an export...
The preview I worked on and the export simply don't look the same.
I work with NEF files from my NIKON D3100 DSLR on a Mac OSX 10.7 MBP.This cannot be the external display profile not correctly adjusted since I viewed every pictures on the same screen.I unchecked every boxes from the presets tab in the settings window.

A couple of days before today I was using Camera RAW from PS CS5 to correct my NEF and was only keeping exports in JPEG. I decided to use LR 3 on my entire workflow and I'm being skeptical...
EDIT : i can join any required file or screenshot if required. I have some other shots having tthe same issue (a lot of ones indeed...)
EDIT 2 : i just found out the picture has much more acurate colors (relatively to the export ones) in the Library module in fit preview (Loupe I guess)
I saw it now several times:

i have a file i traced (into vector format) from an image and all looks great in enhanced view but it looks bad in normal view how do i save or export the enhanced image instead of the normal image?
im trying to export to my cutstudio program, when i export to cut studio with the plugin it shows the normal view version not the enhanced view
also is there a plugin or some way i can export to/from paint shop pro (like there is for cut studio)
When I open the photos in "Library" do not look good. In "Develop" yes... When I go Library to Develop, the screen moves a bit, and then it looks good but does not work because when I export, the photos look, like in Library. I'm climbing the walls from last night (I uninstalled, updated, etc) Now is Lightroom 5.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm running LR4.1 on Macbook Pro OS X 10.6.8, monitor is calibrated with Spyder3Elite.
I was working on a photo in LR4 and I made adjustments in Develop module until it looks good to me. I exported the RAW file to JPEG with sRGB color profile and applied Standard Sharpening for screen. Here's how it looks:
Left side is LR4 Develop module, Right side is Mac Preview, Soft proofed to my monitor color profile.
I have no problem with the color on both applications and I have given up on the amount of noise that is significantly magnified (even exporting without sharpening gives so much more noise than Develop module displays... ) but look at those stars!!
How come the export shows SO many stars while LR4 Develop module sorta "hides" them? The look on Library module is closer to the exports when it comes to the stars only, but the absence of NR makes it way too horrible to look at longer than a second
Under the Develop Module is it possible to export the changes made to an image recorded under the History Tab?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn Lightroom 2, 3, if I exported a file, I had to physically toggled/click on the watermark (well, in 2, there wasn't the option).
I just downloaded 4 and started working with it. I exported a file, uploaded it to my print lab and lightroom4 automatically placed a logo phrase. I did not enter this. This isn't a good option to automatically have this box clicked!
I am a new Lightroom user .I have a folder of full of .JPG in ~/Pictures/2011/2011-07-21_Fjord that I imported inside Lightroom 5 using the "Add" option (not "Copy" nor "Move").
I modified a few pictures (mainly removing visual artefacts and fixing the level) and found out that ~/Pictures/2013/2013-07-21_Fjord still contains the originals.
After reading a bit about LR, I understand that is is the expected behavior. But let's say I know what I am doing and I no longer care about the originals, what is the best worlflow to overwrite the originals why the modified JPGs?
Went to export a picture, entered the information, clicked " export" and Lightroom disappeared. Recovered it or so i thought. The title bar now reads "Ice caves 2014-Adobe Lightroom 3, and all my pictures are missing.

I know, I can manually select at the bottom line all pictures showing a +/- sign and the export them. This is quite a lot of work with my 800 pictures. Is it possible to tell Lightroom that it just selects and exports the developed pictures?

View 3 Replies View RelatedUsing LR with Phase One files?I use a P45 Phase One back and really would prefer to use Lightroom (over Capture One), but I also need to use the lens correction files for the way I shoot (wide angle lenses / technical cameras etc.)..... I know LR can now do this, but it only works with dng files; everything I've read tells me that the C1 conversion to dng is not a good conversion.
I suppose I could always just make a few basic corrections in C1 and then export a 16 bit Tiff to work on in LR, but I'd rather work with raw files as much as possible?
Phase One raw files can Lightroom read it?

The missing controls are the sliders for exposure, contrast, clarity, etc. I must have inadvertantly clicked something that made them disappear but nothing I've tried brings them back. The first import consisted of pictures from Trip 1 folder on my hard drive, the second import was from Trip 2 folder on hard drive. I see the Trip 1 and Trip 2 folders in LIghtroom 5, but am experiencing problems with emailing and exporting pictures, getting messages such as "Missing file" or "Export does not show up. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've used Lightroom since the beginning but am having issues with LR4. One of the problems I am facing is that when I backup my LR database that it brings my entire system to a complete hault for over an hour. It seems to do that during the optimize catalog phase. I can't do anything else on my computer as my mouse and everything else freezes until the very slow backup completes. I didn't have this issue with any other version of LR. I first had this problem on my computer after upgrading my LR3. When I encountered this and other problems (mostly related to locking up or working very slow) I started with a fresh hard drive and re-installed windows and LR but still had the same problems.
I'm using Windows Vista 64, 8gb of RAM, 2.83 Ghz, a fast drive with loads of extra space, etc. I do have a large LR database (7gb) but I had that in LR3 as well.
After making changes to an image (sharpening, exposure, contrast, etc, etc) in the develop module, when I head over to the library module, the image does not show the latest changes. What's worse is when I export a JPG of the image, it exports the original! What's the point in having LR?
