I cannot export pics anymore, when I press the export button the normal screen comes up but slightly different and NO export button...this wouldn't be because I only have 10 days left on the trial period would it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI loaded some folders with my pictures. In Lightroom I developed some of it, others I did not. Now I want to export only those pictures which I developed. I know, I can manually select at the bottom line all pictures showing a +/- sign and the export them. This is quite a lot of work with my 800 pictures. Is it possible to tell Lightroom that it just selects and exports the developed pictures?

Sometimes the keywords move, but most of the time they do not. Why? Is there a secret, or is there something that needs to be done to assure that LR keywords move with the file into PSE 9.

The first import consisted of pictures from Trip 1 folder on my hard drive, the second import was from Trip 2 folder on hard drive. I see the Trip 1 and Trip 2 folders in LIghtroom 5, but am experiencing problems with emailing and exporting pictures, getting messages such as "Missing file" or "Export does not show up. Were there problems with the import?

Apart from the fact that I believe that this is a pretty strange decision to remove an existing feature… Any workaround for that (apart from installing cs5.5...)?
I need to somehow be able to export my slices to swf. As far as I know, the only option to export slices is via the save for web dialog, but this dialog only offers pixel graphic formats, so now way to use fireworks or what ever to convert them to vector swfs…
It started about 3 or 4 weeks ago on my office workstation with Inventor 2013 Pro. Seems to still go okay at home with 2014. I'm using Inventor's built-in PDF export, not an external program.

I am trying to download pictures in folders and sub folders into the LR catalog. The import brings all the pics in the subfolders over but when II click on the parent folder it shows not pictures or number of pictures in it.

I recently had my HD replaced with a SSD, and still using the HD as a secondary drive on which I have my catalogue.
I got the beta 4.1 and it's giving me the following message when trying to uploading images (update collection) to flickr. LR 4.0 was working great. Is there a specifc forum for 4.1beta errors?

I reinstalled both LR4.2RC and Photoshop CS5 on a new drive. But now I can't seem to edit in Photoshop from LR. Am I doing something wrong? It worked fine before (except for getting the "Render in Lightroom" thing because of the differnece in process versions). Using Windows 7 Prof. Cntrl E no longer works and Edit in Photoshop is grayed out on the drop down menu. Both work independently just fine. A setting in LR perhaps?

O I thought let me try to re import them well the photos show up but they are greyed out like an already imported file is. how can I get these photos that lightroom % thinks are already imported to show up in the library.
View 13 Replies View RelatedIn the past few months, my ability to see the preview of a DNG file on my macbook pro (mountain lion - up-to-date) has been lost. I've been having some buggy issues with my computer, so this weekend I did an erase/clean install of Mt. Lion, and now I'm slowly adding everything back on. I have LR 4, and the CS5 creative suite (did all necessary updates last night on all software). I kept my fingers crossed that it's all I needed to do to finally see the DNG previews again. The major kicker is that I have access to all these files on another mac, with updated software, and I can view the previews just fine on it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm on a Mac with Lightroom 5.3 freshly installed. It worked neatly for a couple of days when importing either from my iPhone or my 6D (from the card reader). Suddenly it stopped doing that. I've been through all the discussions and I've tried the following steps:
- delete the preference file (and re-start Lightroom)
- re-install Lightroom
- create a new catalogue (won't work either)
- checked the permissions (as in the beginning, it would tell me that it can't read my files - but they worked perfectly!), which were fine
- cleared the "recently used" file paths of the import dialogue
- re-booted my Mac about a gazillion times
- updated the RAW software
- re-installed Lightroom again (but having deleted pretty much everything from the HD that was Lightroom related)
It just won't work. But before I re-installed Lightroom, it would still give me the "error: can't read files" sign. Now, it simply starts importing (the progress bar starts anyway) and then it just stops at one point, not having imported anything. Lightroom doesn't freeze, it just doesn't do anything and the progress bar stops. I wanted to attach a screenshot to show you what it looks like right now, but that didn't work either, so whatever.
Here's the thing: it still works in Lightroom 4. So now I've been importing into Lightroom 4 and adding the files without moving them to Lightroom 5. But what kind of workflow is that? It's literally killing me because I've paid money for the software and I was patient enough to go over all the trouble shooting, but I'm really out of wit.
on my LR 3. IT used to be right under "Histogram" and above "Tone Balance" in Deveolop and now it is simply gone! I dont know if it was because of software updates or ?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn the import or sync dialog I see my photos, but after starting the import or sync the progress bar hangs at 100% and no new photos are in my katalog. I have tried to import from HDD and SD-Card reader, both end in the same problem. Import in a new katalog does not work either. No error message comes up and I have free storage space.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA couple of days ago, The exact same thing started happening with LR3.6. I was hoping updating would do the trick but the exact same thing takes place. With an adjustment brush, when clicking on the image, it, the image, disappears as soon as I click on it. Same thing with gradient filter, the image disappears when I start dragging. Switching to the Library Module, my image is still there. For my image to reappear I have to select another image and go back to my initial image. Even then, I am still "holding" my brush even though my "Tools Strip" is not open. To get rid of the brush, I have to select it AND deselect it for it to disappear.Only then I can do further editing on that particular file that does not involve brush and/or gradient filter. Everything else seems to be working properly. This never happened until 3 days ago and I did not download any new program.

i have some automated virtual folders for uploading to flickr.
in former times, when i changed one of the pictures and pressed "publish", the pictures which were already online have been deleted and uploaded again (replaced).now i have a lot of dublicates on flickr.
I used to be able to double click on an image in Loupe view in Library mode and I would zoom into that image. I think that stopped when I got to LR5, I'm in 5.3 now. Now when I double click in Loupe view, I'm back out to grid view. Drop down menu suggests I just need to hit return, same thing happens. This happens at all zoom levels fit, fill, 1:1, etc. I'm running OSX 10.9.2. Sounds like a setting issue, but I've looked.
