Let's say, for example, that i create an object with a size, then i create other objects with other sizes.
When I try to see the size of the first object created it says that has the same size like the other objects which have other sizes (it's even obvius cause they r bigger on my screen:D).With all the other versions of Corel i didn't had those problems, but X5 does that.
this function is not functioning anymore. I may have done something to cause this but I don't recall.
Entering sizes in the text boxes does not change the object size anymore.
The only option right now is use the transform size docker...would rather not have to do that.
Also, would not like to hit F8...

I am trying to draw a boom for a sprayer and I have the 3 main tubes extruded. I need to draw plates every 48 inches in between the main tubes. I wanted to draw each plate to make sure it would fit and then use the drawings to cut the plates on my CNC plasma cutter. However, I can not figure out how to draw on the same plane right around the main tubes. I have a screen shot blow showing the tubes and I have a small 2D sketch similar to the plates I need to draw in every 48 inches to the right. The plates will be perpendicular to the top tube.

Say I have a plane, and I apply a material with a diffuse map to that plane. If I scale the plane, the material scales with it. How would I create a map that stays the same size independent of the size of the object?
I want the material to be 'anchored' to a single spot, or verticie, and a constant scale, so if I stretch the plane, the material won't scale to fit, but instead new tiles would be created where it is scaled.
I need to create two separate enclosed objects (a & b) – both of which individually can be reduced/increased in size using the contour tool.
I initially created a rounded oblong shape and added two wavy lines. I'm having trouble removing the unneeded horizontal lines and connecting the other lines up.
I want create an object. A 0.5 inch hole for instance. I want to place this object into a drawing or mutiples of this object in my drawing. Two things i would like to do. If i decide i want to change the hole to 0.25 inches i want to change one instance of the object and all instances to change automatically. Second is that if i scale the drawing up in size I would like all the 0.5 inch hole to remain at 0.5 inches.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have finished my works using only one layer( a bad habit I know) and now I need to export them as PSD, and as You know it needs Layers so it can be editable on Photoshop.
I know the fact that I should import all the objects in single Layers, ie creating thousands of Layers for all the work, new layer for each object I import.
But is there any option for easy extraction of objects into single layers, one click option or much easier than going individually through each of them?
If not available, this type of option would work for CorelDRAW or any vector program, be really more effective and stay in touch with the requirements of the industry, especially when it comes, on creating vectors for web or apps.
I am looking for a way to create a single hairline object displaced outside, so many millimeters from another object.

when I create a new blank document, it size always become multiply of 10 (example Page size A4 = 2100mm x 2970mm) and in the document, when I draw a new object, it will automatical multiply with 10, too. I'm using Windows 7, and I never seen this problem before, when I using Windows XP!
Is there a way by which i can create an elliptical shaped radial fill into any object in coreldraw x6? Currently coreldraw has similar fill tools like in adobe illustrator. Both support linear and radial fills, but adobe illustrator has a way by which the circular radial fill can be squeezed, and be given more of an elliptical radial fill shape.Cann we have some way by which we can squeeze the radial gradient fill into more of an elliptical shape in coreldraw? That fucntion greatly supports more natural looking radial fills into objects. Can it be possibly done without using mesh tools? i am attaching an adobe illustrator screenshot to point out what i am asking for.
View 11 Replies View RelatedThe default page size in X6 has become 9 x 11 and when you try to change it to 8.5" x 11" it defaults back to 9 x 11. Same with objects. It does not show true sizes, never shows .25 or half sizes. I have looked through settings and how to get true measurements in my display at the top of the page, so when I import an object it does not give actual ruler sizes.

If I wanted to blow up something (anything) from 8" to 20", it would become about 3". I would have to put in the 20" again and then it might grow to the correct size.

In the ArcGIS, the same layout can fit all paper sizes and there is no need to customize the layout for each paper size manually. For example, if the map is set up based on A4 paper size and then needed to be printed in A0 size, then all the lay out elements will be automatically proportionally changed to fit the new paper size.
I’m not sure if there is an equivalent features in the AutoCAD that handle this issue
I am tying to create a Dynamic Block of a steel angle of multiple sizes and thickness. I used Dynamic Blocks before and live the idea of changing sizes on the fly with out having to delete and recreate an object.. I got as far as creating an angle of different sizes, i.e.. 4x4, 5x5, etc. and different thickness but can't get the thickness to work with the radius of the angle.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wife is designing some tote bags that she will have screen printed. I use CorelDRAW at work for manual publishing, and she is having me draw out her designs. I was wondering if there is a way to cut out the white objects from the black object behind in the graphic below. It would save having to add a white color, instead just showing the natural color of the bag.
On another note, I'm getting tired of having to do this for her, but she says the screen printers only take .cdr or .ai files. She's been using iDraw on my iPad to come up with her designs, then I replicate them in Corel. She has a Mac laptop, and I'm wondering if there are any reasonably priced programs that would export to .ai or .cdr so I don't have to do this anymore.
Question: How can I get the objects to appear in the Object Manager?
I have the CorelDraw 6X suite. The objects in the Object Manager window are not showing up. It's supposed to have curves, images, and text there. Instead, it has got just the following:

Desktop

Layer 1

I have been using CorelDraw since about 1999. My first CorelDraw program was CorelDraw 9. Then about six or eight months ago I purchased CorelDraw 6X
This is the first time anything like this has ever happened.
I drew a school notebook (mathematical design). One sheet of paper has a several lines on one rectangle... there is a logo also etc...
I need to transform this sheet of paper with shape tool. I need it in a few different transformed versions for later animation.
Any option that I've tried does not work: Group option, arrange -> shaping options ...
Shape tool works with one object, so I don't know how to make one object from several different object or there is some another way
The firm at which I am currently consulting uses AutoCAD 2014. My system at home has P&ID. I don't use the object/3d features -- it is just the version of AutoCAD that I wound up buying. (I think it was on special or something.) In any case, some of our drawing files have become too cumbersome to use, especially on the machines at the office, and I wonder if my P&ID is the culprit. The large files appear to have AEC objects that are bogging them down, but nobody has ADT, so we are unsure from where these objects are coming. They may be coming from the client, but I wonder if they are coming from my system. Does P&ID automatically create AEC objects and, if so, is there a way to keep it from doing that?

What I want is for the STROKE to be transparent so that when I position the 5 segments over a different background colour (image B) I see the colour underneath where the white stroke would otherwise appear. To recap - I would like to retain the width of the stroke, and make the stroke coloue transparent..
I've tried the Opacity setting, but this applies to the object, not just the stroke.
I have cs6 - i should be able to create a qr code under objects but the option is not there...
