I converted a Visio drawing to an AutoCad 2009 drawing, and I'm trying to edit it. My leader arrowheads or crosshatching are not showing up. I have "closed filled arrows" chosen, and I'm just using layer 0 and nothing is frozen or locked. I'm working with a white background and have text color black chosen to use. I have tried adding leaders and triangles using "solid" xhatching and that doesn't work either.

i have one of the drawing have hatch problem the problem is that my solid are not shown in print but other hatch are shown in printing only solid hatch are not showing i check fill command my fill is on and also check fill mode my fill mode is set to 1.

I can not get the SPLINE shown *attachment* here to show up in the PDF form of AC 2012 Lt.
No issues with the DWG version. I changed the layer and the color. The rest of the sketch is perfect, just NO spline ( Codend Tie Line).
Someone here at the office started up autocad and the only things that showed up were "File", "Window" and "help" in top menu bar are the only things that show up. Where did the rest of the tools and camands go, and how can I get them back.

Im having trouble with an XREF. Its a site plan which has a lot of hatching so slows my drawing. When I modify the XREF file either by turning off/freezing hatch layers, or even deleting certain objects, the changes do not show in my drawings despite reloading the modified XREF when prompted by ACAD.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a PDF file (version 1.3) that I inserted into my drawing (AutoCAD 2010 LT) just fine, except the image won't show up. All there is the rectangular outline of the xref which I can select and move around, but inside the outline, a blank image where I expect a floor plan.
I am able to attach another PDF file (version 1.6) and see the image it contains just fine.
Does this have to do with the PDF version? Is there a way to convert it so I can see it on my drawing? Otherwise, what's going on?
I've found some example code on how to create Leaderline and have been playing around with it. So far so good, but when I create my leaderline and the Mtext generates, it is always preceeded by an "OK" and i can't figure out where it's coming from. I've tried using TrimStart on a number of the strings to no avail. I know it must be something insanely simple but it can't seem to get it.

I am currently running AutoCAD 2013 LT on a Windows 7 64 bit system. I was recently running this same software on a 32 bit system computer and everything was running properly. After the upgrade, I have noticed a linetype issue that I cannot seem to get a handle on.
We use a "insul" linetype on building sections that should come out looking like an architectural insulation pattern. After upgrading to the new computer, this linetype only reads as dots, nothing else. I have gone to other comnputers in the office that are displaying this linetype properly and have copied their acadlt.lin as well as acadltiso.lin files over to my computer and it has not solved the problem.

I have several drawings with different image types in them. Whenever I try to print DWG to PDF or even Adobe PDF, I get a "Attempting to cancel" message and everything shows up in the PDF except the images.
I can print to a printer just fine.

I've drawn a residence in AutoCAD architecture using AEC walls and when I xref my drawing into 3ds Max to add lighthing and textures, the walls do not show up. I've done this on previous projects and there were no issues.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been working on some pull-down menus. Occasionally when I have the bugs worked out, I will go to the Transfer Tab in the CUI interface and save the pull-down I am working on.
Now all the menus are not showing up in the Transfer pull-down. If you look at the cui-customize-tab.jpg, you will see which menus are shown in the Customize pull-down.
Compare that to the menus shown in the pull-downs in the other 2 attachments. Have I clicked something that I didn't want to click? Is it me? Do these pants make my butt look big?

I have a ttf font called circuitb.ttf. I have used it in drawings on my ACadLT2002 on Windows XP SP3 and it works fine putting electical symbols in as text when I need them on lables fixed to equipment.
I have installed the curcuitb.ttf on my windows7 x64 machine but the same drawings opened up in LT2012 shows a W. i try and repaste in the ground symbol (which the character map says is latin W0 and it comes in as W.
how do I make it show as the symbol its suppose to be?
I made some smart blocks with attributes but the text is not showing up when I go to layout. URL....

why a circle is not showing the particular linetype (no matter what scale I adjust it to) until I break the circle line?

The pdf appears just like I want it in the viewport and when I do a preview it looks fine. However when I plot the final pdf (dwg to pdf) the viewport is blank. But, the pdf shows up in at leaset one other viewport on the sheet.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThis is probably a really stupid question, but several of my settings dialog boxes aren't showing up. I right click on the buttons at the bottom (at the moment snap and grid show this problem), click on the settings selection so I can modify them, then the autocad window looses windows focus (the bar at the top goes to the pale blue), and I can't do anything in autocad. I hit escape and it goes back to normal.
That looks to me like it is opening the settings window, and my focuse is being set to it, but I don't see it. How do I fix this? Can I reset dialog box starting locations (not like I know how it got moved to a crazy place in the first place, but still)?
How can I get my settings dialog boxes back?
I've created a table through data extraction using blocks for data. The table isn't showing the text for comments, keywords,title or subject that is in the drawing file for the different blocks.
View 0 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble with rendering. the materials are not showing when i render it. i have checked the properties of the object under 3D visualization and it shows the material i applied and then i tried also to view it in realistic mode, it shows also the material i used but when i render it, the materials arent there. i was thingking the built in VGA has something to do with this because there are also instances that when i set the view to perspective, objects doesnt show... trying come up with justification so that the management will be pushed to upgrade my unit!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering why it is that lines only show linestyle if I explode them?
If I just draw a single line the linestyle shows directly, but If I have an imported drawing (I mostly work with LisCAD projects that has been exported to AutoCAD) the lines consist of joined sections of shorter lines (as lines in the LisCAD drawing go from point to point and are not joined). When the file is exported to AutoCAD the lines seems to become a group and won't show the linestyles I choose for presentation unless I explode them and then apply a linestyle.
When i am working in fusion or opening the 3D model (dwf format) in a viewer 3d faces tend to show up on some models and other models some faces disappear. in viewer on product was fine but as soon as i saved it as stp. then opened it in stp. viewer the outer wall was gone.
1. Does this happen to other people?
2. How can i correct this from not happening?
