I've found some example code on how to create Leaderline and have been playing around with it. So far so good, but when I create my leaderline and the Mtext generates, it is always preceeded by an "OK" and i can't figure out where it's coming from. I've tried using TrimStart on a number of the strings to no avail. I know it must be something insanely simple but it can't seem to get it.

I used "save as" to create a new drawing from an existing file that I did not have any problems with. For some reason, the mtext that already existed shows up in my viewports as well as new leader text, but any new mtext that I've added does not. The viewports were also already existing from the previous file. I have not changed any settings either!
All of the layers are on, and I've tried deleting and re-adding the viewports with no luck. All of the text settings are the same as the original file, and like I mentioned before I did not have any problems with the previous file.
I made a car in Illustrator, saved it as an eps then placed it in Indesign. There is a white shape that keeps showing up, I have looked through all of my layers, selected everything and I can not find it in the Illustrator
Just recently, my pictures located in folders have been coming up in random (not numerical) order when I try to open a file in Photoshop. Instead of bring listed in alpha/numeric order, the files are all mixed up.
If I click on the View Menu box that appears when I open a folder, and go to Details, I can get the images back in correct numerical sequence by clicking on the bar above the file name. However, when I try to open the next file, it has reverted back to a random sequence.
I have multiple singular text objects on my screen and I want to convert them to mtext so I can use the Background Mask option within mtext on my drawing. how to quickly select all the text and convert it to mtext without it combinin ginto 1 mtext?
I have numerous MText paragraphs that I need to combine into a single piece of MText. I want the paragraphs preserved in the final piece. I've found some routines that can combine pieces of MText but I don't know if they preserve the paragraphs.I have DotSoft Toolpac but it doesn't seem up to the task. C

I appear to have two red circle which I did not create on drawing in model space. I am assuming it is some sort of error but can not figure it out. On my layout tab viewports containing the section does not show, only the red circle.
As I was creating a surface consisted of contour lines, suddenly some bunch of random points in the surface were also created. I want my surface to be solely generated by contour lines only. So...
I know I can get rid of those points by deleting them through edit but I want to get rid of them all at once. How can I do that? Or... Is there even a way to do that?
I have one user who cannot plot correctly from his workstation. All of his drawings will be missing information when they are plotted although they look perfect in the print preview. For example, at the bottom of every drawiing, he puts in a single text block: "Drawn by: SLM" and sometimes the 'S' in his initials won't get plotted, etc. He can save any of those drawings to a shared drive and plot them from a different workstation and there is no issue. We are using AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 on Windows 7 32bit.
My C3D 2013 just started doing this last week... I first noticed that it would zoom to extents when I operated the center mouse button for panning. It was random, about 1 out of every 15 to 20 pans using the center button.
But then I noticed that it's not just the panning. It will randomly zoom to extents when I type in a command. Earlier today, it did it when I did a REGEN, then again when I did a MAPWSPACE.
The other notable thing is that there is no "zoom" command anywhere in the command history when this occurs.
Besides changing the mice, I also tried rebooting and running a repair on C3D. I have Win7-64.
The problem seems to coincide with when I started using Autodesk 360. Not saying it's related, but it's fishy.
I need to make block with certain random elements in it which regenerate when the block is copied. In this case it's the rotation of the main part of a drawn tree, In which I want the trunk to stay the same but for the polyline that makes up the leafy part to rotate randomly.
I would like to create a polyline in a plane that is not WCS. I am able to do so with the 3D polyline. My problem is that 3D polyline does not allow for a Bulge in the polyline.
One of the computers at my office keeps randomly freezing, i.e. Windows freezes, not just Inventor, when working on a simple frame generator assembly. The freezing seems to be completely random, it can happen 2 minutes after opening the assembly or it can happen after 2 hours.
This only happens on this one computer with this one assembly.
The computer in question is a new Dell Precision M4600 (like a week old) running Autodesk Factory Design Suite Premium 64 bit (including Autodesk Inventor standard edition). Installing Service Pack 1 had no effect on the problem.
My goal is to let some wheels roll in a path which exist from 2 straight paths and a corner. I can constrain them to 1 path at a time but not to all of them so my wheel makes a corner. I
You can find the guide rail as attachment. There is a path in the sketch from which i sweeped my form but he divides it in the 3 parts so i can't constrain the center point of my wheel to this path.
In the past couple C3D versions, I've had these random borders show up in my simple tables. I have a table for my legend and another one I use for a list of references. I use no borders for these tables but sometimes when I edit a cell somewhere in the table, the random border will appear. I remove it and then sometimes it reappears again later. It's usually the top line of the second row, second column only but occasionally it will be when I add a row into an existing table.
I am using a DELL M6600 with Nvidia Quadro 3000M (311.10)
I have most Autodesk PDSU software loaded for 2013 & 2014 plus the CFD and Sim software.

This is my demo machine and I find that Inventor 2014 is randomly crashing. (Bad news in front of a customer)!
This happens when I am working in another application whilst Inventor is in the background with a model open.
Inventor will then randomly crash. I don't get the Autodesk crash report - I get the window that states - do I want to close the app , debug or whatever.
I've got a user who imports points into the survey database and RANDOMLY the points will be shifted on average 27 feet in the northing and 4 feet in the easting. She notices this because she'll check a point and see tht the northing and easting varies from the grid northing and easting (I've attached an image to view) She will then discard the drawing and begin a new one only to import the data and now it imports correctly. The behavior is completely random and it's happening on multiple projects.
All the projects begin with the same template. All the settings (drawing settings and survey settings) have been set to US Survey Foot. It's weird because once the issue is noticed it can be fixed by simply beginning another drawing and re-importing the data, but it has happened on projects where she's already got pre-existing data.
Ok so basically for AutoCAD I like to copy and paste my text in from a word program or just browser and I get random results.
These files are both from SolidWorks yet one shows as perfect and the other as rubbish. Is there any reason for this and is there any way to make the rubbish one come out as nice?
Come to think about it I may have exported the one as a dxf (the poor one) and the good one as a dwg. Is this the difference? But both are dwg now so I don't see why it should remain poor quality.
I'm having a frequent but random problem with Multileaders where the landing distance will change on its own from its initial standard 1/8 inch to some relatively large negative distance which also causes the landing to disappear altogether. If I use the move trick for resetting all elevations to zero (Move 0,0,10e99 then 0,0,10e-99) the landing will reappear connecting the landing grip at the strange negative offset.
The problem seems only to happen when the leader is connected to the bottom right of the note.
When I remove the leader and add a new leader it appears correct but as soon as I save the drawing the affected Multileaders will again present this problem. We've upgraded to 2012 and have noticed a problem when fast clicking on the mouse when using commands.
For example when using the erase command I would usually type E and then quickly right click and left click. However in 2012 it brings up random command instead of erase i.e. sheetset, publish, ucs etc..Bringing up the text window afterwards it shows
Command: e ERASE Select objects: Specify opposite corner: *Cancel* 0 found Select objects: *Cancel* Command: _PointCloudIndex
The right click and left click are only processed once. This happens on all commands typed on the command line not just erase
We have drawing "A" that contains a surface (call the surface "SurfaceA").
We have another drawing "B", that contains an alignment and a reference to"SurfaceA"
The user created EG profiles in drawing "B", and has been working on this drawing periodically.
Today all of a sudden when he opens Drawing "B", the EG profiles are missing. When you look at "SurfaceA" in Drawing "B", there is no data. We synced, we made sure of the association of the drawings to the projects, etc. etc.
I verified the data shortcuts are OK, and verified that both drawings are in good shape (via Recover and Audit)
But wait.....here is the crazy part. If you shut down Drawing "B" and open it say a dozen times, once or twice in that stretch, "surfaceA" shows up and the EG profiles will appear OK too. It's feels very random.....
