I need to programmatically change the 'Window command' (Commande de fenêtre in French) color. I didn't find anything in Application.Preferences neither in the registry.
By 'Window command' I'm talking about the feature comming with A2012 displayed in the upper left corner of model space windows:

After using the command on a couple of them, I decided that an improvement is required or I'm not understanding how to pick multiple items with the same stroke of the command. What I'm asking is, is there a way to pick multiple faces to change multiple face color in just a few strokes or can a custom lisp file be created to speed this process up?

In attached file a.dwg, I use battman command to change text color inside the block. It did well for the color change part but get the text upside down as well. I am in 2010.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems with images that I save appearing to be more saturated and have more contrast than the edit looks in the GIMP window. I tried playing around to figure out what it might be and found that when I open an image in GIMP, the image displayed in the program is less saturated and less contrasty than the original image without any changes made. When I save the unedited image, the new image looks like the old image, both more saturated and contrasty than the image displayed in the GIMP window. Because of the color change in the GIMP window, all of my edits are pointless because it is not showing me the correct outcome. My images are originally JPG format and I save/export in JPG format. Attached is a screencap. The original image/what the unedited saved image looks like is in the preview window on the right. The image on the left is the unedited image opened in the GIMP window.

But if this one color doesn't exist as a fill or outline color in a file, I get an error message, because the script can not detect the color. The script stops. I am working on a batch of Illustrator files with 3 colors to change, but some files contain just 1 or 2 of the colors.Is there a command for javascript which says: "Only change the color, if the color appears"?

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe command line window moved from the default location at the bottom of the screen to a floating position while I was working on a drawing yesterday. I don't know what I did but can't move or resize to get it back down to the bottom where it belongs. I can get it to dock to the left and right or float but nothing else. It doesn't behave like the the other palettes n that I can't seem to drag it anywhere.

I can't find my Command Line Window. It somehow became undocked and is no where to be found on my screen. It does not appear to be floating anywhere. I've gone through all my display settings; however it says that it should be there and show 3 lines of commands.

Is there any way (may be using cui or lisp) so that the same result appears in form of a popup window??
An example is when I'm drawing a box, line etc and attempt to type "@5,-5", AutoCAD somehow jumps to a window on the side and if I don't notice will restore the window I'm working in and not complete the command I typed ("@5,-5" in this case). If I do notice in time, then I have to pres ESC about 3-4 times, which will then have me back on the command line with the text "@5,-" already typed (as if that was were I paused while typing??). The attached picture shows the dialog box on the top left, and the command line as if I've only typed "@", when after pressing ESC as mentioned the full "@5,-" text becomes visible on the command line?
Also, as a note: I've already ruled out that I'm pressing other keys that could possibly cause this...

as title if I need to select one by one，it will be too slow....Should this function be accompolished by LISP? But I am not familiar with LISP.... the situation is that I have many irregular lines distributed in disorder, and what I want to do is just lengthen these lines "3.5" Meters from the start point of each line.
If I can do this way , then I can join the line to some points correctly in Arcmap.
With the command window displayed at the bottom of the screen, everything slows down. The cursor momentarily freezes and it takes a second or two for commands to be fulfilled. Also, the command window is about 7 lines high; in the past, I have shrunk it to maybe 3 or 4 lines but I cannot shrink this wndow.
Then, when I push control-9 and the window disappears, everything speeds up to normal!
I tried turning off my internet connection and my McAfee Viruscan as well. Running without the command window makes it hard to draft. Since I type shortcuts, I figure I must have hit the wrong key and unleashed something unspeakably terrible.
I am running AutoCAD version 10 on my PC, with Windows XP Professional.
Civil 3D 2013/ When I try to move or un-dock the command line window, a red circle with a line through it appears.
When I switch work spaces still the same result.
I wrote some LISP programs. I would like to use the output data generated by LISP program in Command arear of AutoCAD. I Heard we can dave the output data into .dat files.

I'm presuming that there is some sort of system variable that controls this, but I have not been able to find it in the help files. The Mtext editor is working from the Mtext command, so I know it's not the DTEXTED variable.

Why is the Transparency command window in the Clone Tool property bar so narrow? By comparison, the window for the Feather command next to it is twice the size. The reason for the moan is because my display is set to 110% as I like to see slightly larger text but I've had to go down to 100% because I can only see one complete digit in that tiny little window.
Is there any way to make it a touch wider so I can see two digits without a problem?
Display set to 1900 x 1200 on 32-bit XP.
Sometimes when we place a window in a wall we can grab the grip and stretch it to any size we want. Other times the only sizes we can use are the standard sizes. I know how to add a standard size but how can we make it to where you can just strectch it to any size we want?

How I can change the sequence in my propertieswindow?
I give in my parameters and wich parameter I put in first comes on top of the properties list. If I delete the parameter that is first on the list and I put it in again it joins the list at the botom.
Now I want to control the sequence of the properties window so I can have it for al blocks the same. that makes it easier to use.
Like in the picture that you can find in the attachment. I want to put elements on top of the list so I can choose The elements (with visibility) first and then I want to put in the width and height.
You know that small window that pops up when you hover the crosshair over an object? It displays color, layer, and linetype for regular objects. I was wondering if it's possible to somehow change what is displayed in this window?

The options menu has to be hidden somewhere because AutoCad will not allow any other commands after typing options until I hit escape. I have tried restarting CAD and rebooting my computer with not luck.
