View 4 RepliesHow can i change crosshair color in autocad 2012?
View 4 Replies View Relatedwhen i started using 2011. I have 2 viewports active; plan and isometric view. But when I try to navigate in the isometric view, the crosshair behaves in a way I don't understand. What happens is that when I zoom in the crosshair disappears over or under what I'm zooming in on.
It's hard to describe, but it seems that it have a different origo then the view represents. When I zoom out so much that the crosshairs are visible and I try to move them upwards, they stop in the middle of the screen and then the marker becomes visible in the ribbon part of the screen.
I have tried detaching all xref's, purged and audit, checked the elevation (0). This only happens in some drawings, not all, and I can't think of a common denominator in the drawings it happens.
Why in CS6 when zoom changes window size and a floating window fits in Photoshop window or on other display screen do I get scroll bars where a select all selection marching ants are not visible on all four sides till I drag out the window to get rid of the scroll bars so I can see all of marching ants.
In previous versions of Photoshop space for scroll bars is present but there are no scroll bar, select all marching ants are visible on all four sides when an image's window fits in Photoshop window or on second display. Is there a way to make CS6 work like previous versions? Also if I just open a document and Photoshop fits it to Photoshop window or second display the floating window is correct without scroll bars.
I have been annoyed with the color of my crosshair for a while, I have my background set to black so the the crosshair is white. This is no problem in Model and over the paper in Layout, but when I move the crosshair outside the paper to the Grey area, I can't see the crosshair.
I can't remember this being a problem before so it must be something with 2011 that I installed a while back.
I can find where I change the color of the crosshair (Options > Display > Colors > Crosshair) so thats not the trouble.
The trouble is that since I can't remember this being a trouble before, the crosshair must have changed color from White when black background to Black when white background.
And I seem to remember that there was a color before that was called Black/White that was this exactly. It changed from Black to White depending on the background .
I need to programmatically change the 'Window command' (Commande de fenêtre in French) color. I didn't find anything in Application.Preferences neither in the registry.
By 'Window command' I'm talking about the feature comming with A2012 displayed in the upper left corner of model space windows:
Is there a way to make the cross hairs default to the inverse of the color under them (e.g. black when over white, blue when over yellow, cyan when over red, etc.)? I remember that it did this in previous versions, but I can't find a setting for it in 2011.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems with images that I save appearing to be more saturated and have more contrast than the edit looks in the GIMP window. I tried playing around to figure out what it might be and found that when I open an image in GIMP, the image displayed in the program is less saturated and less contrasty than the original image without any changes made. When I save the unedited image, the new image looks like the old image, both more saturated and contrasty than the image displayed in the GIMP window. Because of the color change in the GIMP window, all of my edits are pointless because it is not showing me the correct outcome. My images are originally JPG format and I save/export in JPG format. Attached is a screencap. The original image/what the unedited saved image looks like is in the preview window on the right. The image on the left is the unedited image opened in the GIMP window.
View 1 Replies View RelatedTwo questions, actually. Why does the healing brush crosshair change in location relative to the brush and then why does the crosshair change in color?
Also, in healing brush, with "aligned" unchecked, why does the brush image change as it moves? I though that with "aligned" off, the selection made with ATL - click stayed constant.
I use AutoCAD 2011 LT and I would like to put a pan and zoom (even a pan only window would be very useful) window on. Is that possible in that version?
Or alternatively can I go back from the annoying new menu design to the ordinary one?
I have some layouts with one viewport per page, and i am trying to make a small program to zoom to an incremental window from left to right for some model space cross sections for highways.
Any code to go into each layout, find the viewport and zoom by a window? i can derive from there.

I am having problems with zoom, pan and rotate at high zoom level. The movements becoming jerky and delayed. But for whatever reason the problem exists in some assembly files and not in the others.

or how can I get the extents for that collection so that I can zoom to it.
When I try to use a window zoom in a layout viewin model space my window offsets the the right and below the mouse pointer by a consideral distance. Window zoom works correctly in Model Space and in layout view in paper space. It is doing it in all of my drawings New or Old so I'm guessing its a global setting of some type.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded from CS5 to CC (photoshop) and have lost the zoom resizes window facility, how to restore it?
I have checked the general preference 'zoom resizes window' but it makes not a scrap of difference - whether I use the zoom tool (cmdZ) or via the space bar+cmd / alt route or by using cmd+ or cmd-
I generally like the new scrubby zoom but even with "zoom windows to fit" selected, it does not resize the window when I zoom in.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have to be able to do this. I setup every cad program I've ever used this way but everytime I try in corel draw it launches help. I don't care if i have to disable the help, I need my F1 key as zoom window.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got CS2 and I'm finding it very annoying that whenever I zoom in or out in a document the window resizes. I can have two documents open and their windows neatly sized to fit the screen, I zoom in on one and suddenly that document is filling the whole screen. Yet, when I go to Edit / Preferences / General I see that the 'Zoom Resizes Window' box is unchecked.
The only way I can zoom in without the window resizing is via the Navigator window. But that's more awkward. Any ideas anyone?
I still want it to have its normal behavior while in a command, but when not in a command it still enters the selection mode, which does not work, but if it would enter a zoom window command, it might be a more useful command.

I do a lot of pixel art for games - how do I set up a second window of an image at a different zoom? Here's a picture of Photoshop doing it...
How do I do that in Corel Photo Paint, so I can edit at two zoom levels at the same time?
“Zoom window” in the Revit,
I couldn’t find the “zoom window” tool in the Revit!
This just started happening quite recently and it's really annoying me, but I can't find a preference where I can switch it off.
If I'm working on an illustration and zoom in on a detail, I'll find that any other open windows (within Photoshop CS2) have zoomed with exactly the same amount too, and I have to resize them all. Very time consuming when I'm zapping between open windows. Is this a setting I've inadvertantly clicked or a bug in the software?
Using the zoom tool, there is a check box to select whether a zoom will also "Resize window to fit." Is there a way, using the _keyboard_, to select or toggle whether I want the window to resize when I use the zoom tool? I often want to go back and forth between asking for the resize and prohibiting it, but I don't want to have to go up with the mouse to click on that little check box all the time.

I want to change groups of part-colors from w/i an iam, but drive it down to the ipt level, so I don't have to open up each and every individual ipt, and change each one manually one at a time. I have about 1000 parts that need to change color, but want to do it in groups.
