AutoCad 3D :: Change Face Color Command Customizable?

I was working on some modifications to a previous drawing and needed to change the face color on multiple faces, about 40 of them... After using the command on a couple of them, I decided that an improvement is required or I'm not understanding how to pick multiple items with the same stroke of the command. What I'm asking is, is there a way to pick multiple faces to change multiple face color in just a few strokes or can a custom lisp file be created to speed this process up?

There are instances where we need to add an extrusion in an assembly (.iam) to show labeling that needs to be done on the floor during assembly.
So we do a new sketch to the face where we need to add the "label", we use text and extrude it 0.001" deep (cut).
On the drawing (.idw) you can see it no problem, but in the model (.iam) itself it's hard to see since the faces that result from the extrusion are the same color as the participant part.
My question is this: Is it possible to change the color of the face of the extrusion?
It's not super important but it would be a good thing to show that detail as we sometimes print a color version of the 3D view for prototyping, troubleshooting, etc.

I need to programmatically change the 'Window command' (Commande de fenêtre in French) color. I didn't find anything in Application.Preferences neither in the registry.

Is there a way to change the cursor color in the command line in AutoCAD 2013?
When I change the background (active command) to black, the cursor blends into it and not visible. Can’t see where is my current position when editing coordinates. The command background was black and text white for the last 10 years for 20 drafters; we would like to keep it this way

In attached file a.dwg, I use battman command to change text color inside the block. It did well for the color change part but get the text upside down as well. I am in 2010.

I managed to write this javascript. It automatically changes the colors from one swatch (byName) to another (byName) in my opened illustrator file. But if this one color doesn't exist as a fill or outline color in a file, I get an error message, because the script can not detect the color. The script stops. I am working on a batch of Illustrator files with 3 colors to change, but some files contain just 1 or 2 of the colors.Is there a command for javascript which says: "Only change the color, if the color appears"?

I want to make an ipart of a container with as customizable parameters (the Diameter and the Volume of one of the solid bodies).

when i was changing the volume parameter, i recieved an error that this property was read-only.is it possible te use the volume calculation from inventor the calculate back to the diameter or height? ,and also for a solid body?
If so, what do i need to do? I am using inventor 2013 (basic).

Is there any way to change the colour of all faces in a select set simultaneously?
The method I am referring to is when you select faces in a part document, rickt click and select properties from the context menu, a dialog box pops up called "Face Properties" which prompts you to select a colour and click OK. when this is done all of the faces are changed at once.
How do I replicate this via the API?
Currently I have it iterate through each face in a part document and apply the colour override one by one which can take a while when there are about 1000 faces. You can see each face changing as you go.

I have a problem with changing solid face colour where the Solid has a material assigned to it.
I have drawn a meter and need to add text to the face. Trying to imprint the text is a mission and I don’t seem able to make the text stand out. If I explode the text, Create a solid, Union the text, position the text on the meter face and union the text to the meter face the text takes on the colour of the material. I then try to change the colour of the text face and of course it will not change. The only way I can seem to change the face colour is to convert the solid to a surface which then defeats the object.
As an interim solution to overcome my problem I have created the text and positioned it where I need it and then created a block to keep it all in place. It looks ok and provided the block is not exploded it works ok but i am sure there must be a more professional way of doing it.

I was wondering if there is a way to change the appearance of a face in a weldment assembly environment. I have a weldment which in the machining process a part of weld bead as well as a portion of one of the components is machined down (spot faced) and I need to change the appearance of those face to polished, but it doesn't let me do that?

N:B - pad eye is made by extrusion and pipe made by frame generator.

All I need to do is merge a circular face to a flat face, so both faces become one continuous face. Is this possible at all?
I have a attached a screenshot to show what I mean. Face 1 needs to be merged with face 2. This is so if I constrain anything to that face it will constrain to the entire face and not either the circular face OR the flat face.

I have a VBA program that I have been using for years that I am unable to convert to vb.net. When I start a text/dim command, the routine changes my layer to my Dimension layer, like wise when I create a viewport.
I like what I see with A2k12 but all this vb.net stuff has me quite frustrated. So many programs to convert so little time.
