Toolbar macros I've been using for several versions now are not working in LT 2013?
Here an example of one of the macros:
^C^C_select;_auto;\_copy;_p;;@;@;_move;_p;;\_rotate;_p;;@;\_redraw:
We have a problem at work with buttons disappearing from the quick access toolbar.
I already looked around and it is being said that it is a bug, wich can be fixed with a service pack. I work in a big company, and they are refusing to do the service pack.
So the next best thing I can figure is to make a macro, wich will add all the macros I want to the quick access toolbar in assembly level, part level, sketch level and drawing level.
All of a sudden, my action macros aren't working. I'm getting "Unknown command" errors. I've checked my options, everything's pointing to the right folder, and the macro files are in the right folder. Why would I be getting this error?

You should be able to show and hide partial customization menu toolbars with the -toolbar command because it can hide all toolbars including my partial customization menu toolbars currently shown. I've tried the toolbar menu alias (defined in the CUI command) and the name (refer to this link to the same image embedded below) and none work.
I have a users machine that is displaying some odd behaviour. Their Macros and VBA Editor buttons have stopped working. We have tried several things already but nothing appears to have any effect.
View 9 Replies View Relatedmacros are all disabled and i remembered there is a command to disable all the events but i could not figure out where exactly it is located and even i tried to reinstall the using modiy and repair twice times to install the software but still persists to activate the macros.
all the macros are grayed out and even Alt F11 also not working.
When my toolbar is loaded (by menuload or netload), the F2 doesn't work anymore, it does open but it goes hiding at the back of Autocad. I know that I don't give a lot of information but I just don't know what other information you could need .. so feel free to ask
View 1 Replies View Relatedim using LT2010, with the autocad classic menu, if i click on a line the layer toolbar is not displaying the layer name of that line, it seems stuck on the current 'set' layer. also right click edit has stopped working and i cant seem to reset it via, tools/options/user prefs.
if i click onto the 2D drafting workspace, the layer problem above doesnt occur but the right click edit still doesnt work.
How can I get the upper toolbar back?

I have installed AutoCAD 2013 student on my Laptop (Win7 32Bit) and want to work now.
But I have the problem that my Menubar always freezes / becomes instabil.
-> When I open ACAD, the menu bar is by default on "Home", when I click on the tab "Insert", the tools of "insert" aren't visible, there are still the tools from "Home" shown (Line, Polyline, Circle etc.)
But when I click on these wrong shown tools, the tools of "Insert" become active. (Only the 'surface' doesn't react)
Well, I see always the Home-tools. All the other tools aren't displayed to me, but they work (if u know where they are, you can guess and click and hope you hit the right one )
I just switched from Autocad 2007 to 2013. how to display the object snap toolbar? the one with center snap, mid-point snap, etc options?

We've carried out a company upgrade of AutoCad to 2014. Since then a fair few PC's display an odd behavior of rapidly flashing bottom toolbars when more than one drawing is open at a time. One PC resolved this by upgrading their video driver.

I need this in order to shorten the procedure for relative coordinate input, but, after pressing the button the last point is entered and i cannot continue entering values like in the manual input at the command like, like: @5,5
Even if i use the "@ pause " sequence it doesn't work.

On some computers I have a problem. The down arrow at the right of the quick access toolbar doesn't show. I checked that my interface is not lock too. So to customize the quick access toolbar I have to use the CUI.
I don't know if it's related, but my customize toolbar (from my partial menu) have to be displayed manually each time I start AutoCAD but not my custom tab in the ribbon.
Our office recently upgraded from AutoCAD 2005 to the new version AutoCAD Architecture 2013. I’m having difficulty finding the layer override toolbar for the lines. I have found that I can change the color and/or line type of an line in the properties dialog box but in AutoCAD 2005 there was a toolbar specifically assigned for the color, line type and line weight of a line. Dose that toolbar still exist in 2013 or do they control this in another location.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThe color swatches in toolbar for fill and stroke are not functioning as they should. When I select an object on the artboard, the swatches display fine in the toolbar for what they should be. However, when I double-click on those swatches from within the toolbar to modify the color, the color which comes up is #000000 instead of the actual color it should be.
I am using 16.2.1 (cloud) for Mac OS 10.8.2
I've submitted a bug report.
Also, the eyedropper tool is buggy and occasionally places the #000000 into an object instead of the characteristics the eyedropper is selecting. I don't have any hidden layers or weird groupings, it just randomly decides when it is going to work or not.
I've never had these issues on previous versions of illustrator and have been proficient in all versions since 2007.
I have this heavy issue, i can't send to back a line, an object or a hatch under other lines. In 2012 i used this feature a lot but in 2013 it's not working very much, maybe 1 time out of 10 and i absolutely can't say why.
HPDRAWORDER = 1 seems to work with a new hatch.. but i can't redraw everything.
Let's say i put an entire floor plan into block then draw over it. (I don't want to start a Xref discussion please) i can't send the entire bloc to the back.I used to do that with 2012, 2008, 2007.. but it's 2013 it's not working, is there a way to correct that?

I don't like small undo/redo window in quick access toolbar. So I always use 'max2009' style toolbar in UI customization.
but in 2013version, there are all dropdown icons are broken
So I changed to Default UI and changed again just color to 2009 style color.
but I cannot roll back this undo/redo step window to 2009 style.
I tried add 'undo scene operation' but it doesn't shows step windows.
I used to drag and drop an image from my desktop in a drawign in 2012 version.

The first macro works fine but the second brings up the message 'Point or option keyword required'.
I have made some macros and now with the 2012 version of Inventor it is very very slowly to open the dialog box to choose a macro. I have the windows cursor during 30 second in each time I want to select a macro.
When I have made a shortcut for one of my macros it goes good and quikly.
It appears that the Layer Filters functionality is broken again with 2013. Unchecking the "Apply layer filter to layer toolbar" disables the function of layer filters in the tool palette.
