Sometimes on my "Draw" toolbars, all of my icons disappear! Passing the cursor over it, than they reappear! Made same thing in ACAD 2012.
My video card is a NVIDIA Quadro 600 with the latest driver installed.

On some computers I have a problem. The down arrow at the right of the quick access toolbar doesn't show. I checked that my interface is not lock too. So to customize the quick access toolbar I have to use the CUI.
I don't know if it's related, but my customize toolbar (from my partial menu) have to be displayed manually each time I start AutoCAD but not my custom tab in the ribbon.
I have created a tool palette with all the blocks that I use on a daily basis. The only thing is that now when I put my cursor on the palette I have no icons just words. When I adjust the size to the palette my icons appear.
My view option is set to text and icons.

1 Sure but where are the Autocad icons actually hidden?
2 Why did they get lost in the first place ? The cui does some odd things at times.
3 What is the right spot to add the path changing file support paths makes no difference. (includes reboots)
Other machines here are fine don't want the same problem with theirs when we add the new toolbars.
As an extra we run new workspaces to avoid this problem but the original Civil 3D workspace is corrupt maybe.
I've tried to figure out the pattern of how the command works for inputting partial customization menu toolbar names but I'm unsuccessful.
You should be able to show and hide partial customization menu toolbars with the -toolbar command because it can hide all toolbars including my partial customization menu toolbars currently shown. I've tried the toolbar menu alias (defined in the CUI command) and the name (refer to this link to the same image embedded below) and none work.
The icons are not visible in the toolbar. If I hover the cursor over the icon, the commands are active but no icons are visible.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was working on a scene and went to select the rotate tool and suddenly all the tools and the entire toolbar was gone! I tried un-checking and re-checking the main toolbar selection but to no avail. I am completely at a loss as to what to do since I can't choose my tools anymore! I put my tools back onto a custom toolbar but I can't find the dropdown box that you can choose what orientation the gizmos use (i.e. local, world,...) Without that toolbar, I really can't do anything and it would be nice to have all the tools back as I can't find half the ones that were there. As you can see in the picture, I put the tools I could find back in.

I'm having a display bug with the menu toolbar icons in Photoshop CS4 Extended. The icons don't show when mouse hovers over them and they don't show at all for the drop down menus. Can this be fixed?
I'm on WinXP, Athlon 64 4000+, 3GB ram, GeForce 6800 GT video card [driver 181.20]. I'm not sure if this is a video driver bug or CS4 bug.
The 'Template' checkbox gets activated in Layer Options dialog box, and the box gets closed, then, the Layer name and several icons at the bottom of the Layer Panel disappear.The Layer is still there without a name, and rolling over the icons on the Layers Panel I can see the Tool Icons.Illustrator Prefs were trashed/restored using the Opt-Shift-Command restart shortcut.

When I go into the drawing file I want to xref and use the "-DWGUNITS" command I change it from feet to inches and use Architectural. Answer yes to all questions and certain objects disappear. Most of the objects are pline or spline objects. Here is what I see in the AutoCAD Text Window:

There a lot more of scaling failed messages. too many to show. How can I xref in these drawings with different units without objects disappearing?
While creating a drawing inserting 3d blocks after closing and reopening the file blocks have disappeared from veiw. When i mouse over the block it shows but goes as soon as i move the mouse. also when zooming different blocks show and disappear?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been leaving custom icons in the Support directory where the associated cui is located and that has been working ok. Now if I try to assign another icon by picking the ellipses button it pushes me to this directory:
C:Use im.turnerAppDataRoamingAutodeskAutoCAD 2013 - EnglishR19.0enuSupportIcons, which is empty.
Now if I edit an icon there is no Save As option and if I hit Save there is no option to browse to a directory, only change the file name. So I hit save and go back to the default directory (above) but the directory is still empty and the original icon in the Support directory is unchanged.
Where the heck did the icon "Save" at?
Running 2014 plain Jane. I have the ribbon turned off. Sometimes (a lot) when I double click a block to edit it my Block Editor Toolbar does not come on. And it is not listed in the acad list of tool bars.

I have installed AutoCAD 2013 student on my Laptop (Win7 32Bit) and want to work now.
But I have the problem that my Menubar always freezes / becomes instabil.
-> When I open ACAD, the menu bar is by default on "Home", when I click on the tab "Insert", the tools of "insert" aren't visible, there are still the tools from "Home" shown (Line, Polyline, Circle etc.)
But when I click on these wrong shown tools, the tools of "Insert" become active. (Only the 'surface' doesn't react)
Well, I see always the Home-tools. All the other tools aren't displayed to me, but they work (if u know where they are, you can guess and click and hope you hit the right one )
