View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble reading the menu text in Elements 11 that I juat purchased. I have found that with many programs there is a way to enlarge the menu text, but so far I have not been able to find a way to make the menu text large enough for me to read unless I am about 1' away from the screen which I am sure you can imagine is not reasonable or acceptible.

I'm on WinXP, Athlon 64 4000+, 3GB ram, GeForce 6800 GT video card [driver 181.20]. I'm not sure if this is a video driver bug or CS4 bug.
I'm having a hard time viewing the tool icons and constantly have to squint and put my face on the screen to choose a tool! I'm using a PC in case that matters.

1 Sure but where are the Autocad icons actually hidden?
2 Why did they get lost in the first place ? The cui does some odd things at times.
3 What is the right spot to add the path changing file support paths makes no difference. (includes reboots)
Other machines here are fine don't want the same problem with theirs when we add the new toolbars.
As an extra we run new workspaces to avoid this problem but the original Civil 3D workspace is corrupt maybe.
I was messing around in PSP X4 and somehow managed to mess up my toolbars. Specifically, the STANDARD toolbar now has no images. I've uploaded a screen capture to show you what that looks like.

Sometimes on my "Draw" toolbars, all of my icons disappear! Passing the cursor over it, than they reappear! Made same thing in ACAD 2012.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any way I can make the actual Photoshop toolbar bigger? I have a big computer screen, and it seems really small.
I have Photoshop CS3.
After upgrading to Gimp 2.8, I am loving the single window mode. But the brushes are working a bit differently to 2.6.
I work, mostly, on A4 pages at 300DPI. So when I want to enlarge a brush, I like to use a custom shortcut to quickly upscale the brush so that I can to a large size quickly.
This happened nicely in 2.6. However, in 2.8, I can't find a way to quickly upscale the brush in the same way. I've created the same custom shortcut, but the upscaling takes a lot longer to reach the desired scale. It's a case of holding down the keyboard shortcut and then waiting while the brush gets bigger.
Is there a way to speed up that upscale motion?
EDIT: In other words, is there a way to make the "increase brush size more" function increase its increments?
I've been trying to make a icon for Vista (actually Windows 7 RC, but it uses the same guidelines) and simply cannot get it to work. I have my icon made in a 256x256 size and saved into .png. I edit the .xml file for my library that I want the icon to go for, but it simply changes it to the default folder icon. The XML coding is right, the location is correct, so it must lie within how I made the icon. Now, I know the default icon in the "Vista guideline" requires 256x256 and 11 other sizes; I had figured this would just downsize automatically. Do I resize the icon manually in seperate layers or what? And I apologize if this is the wrong place or this has been answered. I've searched the internet for at least 30 minutes, searched this forum lightly and came up empty. Also sorry if this seems more like a Windows issue rather than a Photoshop issue, but generally going into a Windows forum and asking this will get you a bunch of garbage, seeing as they may or may not have experience with making icons. P.S. The PNG is not interlaced;

All other programs on the computer are a good size, it seems that this one is the odd one out. I don't want to change the screen resolution generally.
