AutoCAD Inventor :: Video Driver Crashes And Recovers With AMD FirePro M4000
Feb 24, 2013
When I try to run a stress analysis on my model my video driver keeps crashing. I have updated my driver and downloaded the patch from the auto desk website. In addition I have played around with the visual settings on my computer and nothing works. I attached my computers specs.
Few hours ago Premiere were working perfectly, but I updated the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver because the new version have OpenCL support, and now every time I open a Premiere Project, it crashes after a few seconds. My computer is a Lenovo G400s Laptop with Windows 8.
I have a brand new HP Probook 4530s with the correct requirements to run LT 2012 as well as a certified and tested graphics card and latest drivers, but as soon as I try using offset or trim functions while drawing, my screen goes blank for about 4 seconds and an error message below tells me my Display Driver has stopped working and has recovered.
No matter the screen resolution settings, it still does the same, also the laptop is still cool, so can't be a heat issue.
I'm updating drivers for Computers with Nividia Quadro 4000 video cards. I went to the Nvidia website and found two drivers. one I found that was certified for AUTOCAD 2013 and the version is 310.50. And another driver for the video card version is 311.50. should i download the newest version or the ACAD Certified version? Could the "Certified" version download not be current? Are there any drawbacks from one to the other?
I have a Canon CanoScan 8800F and I can scan from CS3 just fine for a little while, but eventually, it will give me the following errors: "ScanGear: Cannot communicate with scanner. Cable may be disconnected or scanner turned off. Check status. Scanner driver will be closed." followed by: "Could not open the TWAIN source. Make sure there is a valid source for your scanner in the TWAIN directory in the Windows directory" If I reboot my computer, I can scan through Photoshop again, but only for a few minutes. Anyone have any tips or suggestions? I've updated the drivers for the scanner and I'm running the most up-to-date version of CS3.
I have an Nvidia Quadro FX1500 graphics card on XP64. Getting the correct video driver for ACA is critical as we all know. I did a search of the Adesk web site and one page told me to use version 259.57, while another page told me to use version 265.70.
The page telling me to use the newer driver was under the certified hardware page, where ACA is not a choice in the product used, only acad. The page telling me to use the older version was under the ACA support page. Then I go to the Nvidia web site and they tell me to use the 191.00 version.I'vehad a look nside the hardware XML installed with 2012 and te supported driver version is 6.14.0012.6570.
Due to some issues, I was told by HP support to update my display driver. I now have AMD Radeon HD 7950 but since installing this, Photoshop CS5 Extended and 64-bit keep crashing. I'm given the error:   Photoshop CS5 has stopped working  Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU Enhancements. Check the video card manufacturer's website for the latest software.  GPU enhancements can be enabled in the Performance panel of preferences?
Not sure if I could have been more specific in the title; however, I have been having the following problems after using CS6; Â 1. Images are blacked out in the viewing area where the layer is still showing the thumb nail image. 2. A few crahes incl BSOD 3. Unable to launch Bridge (has worked previously) 4. Unable to drag and drop images w/o creating a copy of the layer. This appears intermittent. Â Attempted fixes;Shutting down CS6 appears to provide a temporary fix on the black out.Purged the temp storage areas in ACR and CS6 Checked the enviromental variables and the temp directories are on the C drive (Home)OS Win 7 64Bit Ultimate RAM 16 Gb CPU AMD 965 Storage: C: 500 Gb 160 Gb free Scrartch Disk: 20 Gb available Video Card: ATI RADEON 5670 Â CS6 was an upgrade from CS4.

Created new PC3 for KIP 3100 plotter using its AutoCAD Heidi driver for Win7x64. Upon plot preview the following error occurs.
This causes a crash report which has been submitted to Autodesk. Â The response was to install service pack 2. Â Error still occurs after installing the service pack.
So what to do? How does this interrupt my use of all the functions in photoshop? I am a creative cloud member, so I am all up to date. This is the message I got. Â There is a problem with the video driver in Photoshop, and extensions that use graphics hardware is temporarily disabled. See the website of the manufacturer of your video card to get the latest software. To learn more, see: [URL]...
Trying to print from LR 5.3 RC using .icc profile in printer settings in Epson Pro 3800 driver the Color Settings and Color drop downs are disabled???? In other applications these options are enabled and selectable.Â
I currently have a Dell Precision M6700 which I had replaced my old laptop with in attempt to fix this very problem. I'm using Windows 7 x64 with Photoshop CC x64. Whenever I attempt to use my Cintiq 13HD with GPU acceleration enabled, the brush lags horribly on the smallest of canvases. Disabling GPU acceleration fixes it but I use many of the tools such as canvas rotation greatly. I've checked everything from spacing in brushes to trying different drivers.
My drivers for my 13HD are the latest and as are the drivers for the Firepro M6000. I'm extremely confused as AMD states that this is a certified adobe Photoshop gpu and the FirePro line is made with excellent Open GL support as far as I'm aware. I've searched other threads before with this issue and attempted various fixes to no avail. I'm especially baffled as this is a workstation class GPU.
We just installed the Autodesk Package. AutoCAD works fine, Revit seems to work, but we are having the display drive not responding, when we try to start a sketch in Revit.

Videostudio X3 crashes everytime I try to export a video. It doesn't matter the file type inputed or how you are trying to export it. It even crashes when trying to export one of the default title screens included with the program. Have tried a clean install with no luck. I have also insured I am using the latest version.
finally deduced it was when I clicked a video for flagging. I removed the videos from the catalog but that defeats the purpose. I tried the ui.dll and did rename the ui.dll.old file. I unstalled and reinstalled LR5 and update to 5.3. Its working now but like I said I removed the video.  issue was when I put in the ui.dll then LR would not even open up so effectively I did not do the ui.dll because I couldnt,. I did it successfully for lr3 when I had the edit/flagging crashes without issue this is weird.Â
Each time I make an attempt to import video frames to layers, I get as far as the "select range to import" screen, and then when I select the range and click ok, it says "Adobe Photoshop has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly." And then it closes. Â My operating system is Windows XP, the photoshop type I use is CS3 as I mentioned before, and I have installed Quicktime 7.3.5.I checked one of the files I tried to use with the Mediainfo program as suggested, and got the following: Â Format: MPEG-4 Format profile: Quicktime Codec ID: qt File size: 176 MiB Duration: 18mn 33s Overall bit rate: 1 327 Kbps Writing application: Lavf53.24.2
The program has encountered an unspecified error and has stopped functioning. Please contact Corel Technical Support and send the dump file for analysis.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.. There is no error message, it just says Corel VideoStudio X3 has stopped working... The video is only 48 seconds long (A test video) 1280x720 and was recorded at 30fps.
I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 Video Card and a 3.4GHz processor and 6GB of RAM
I am running Lightroom 5.3 and a fairly fresh install of Windows 8.1 / 64 bit. It works perfectly when I use my local machine, but when I access Lightroom over Microsoft Remote Desktop from another computer, as soon as I try to open a video, Lightroom crashes. Â I have tried reinstalling, rebuildin library, etc. But, it still crashes every time. I'm pretty sure this is a bug with the software. Â I use remote desktop for most of my lbrary management and it's really frustrating when it crashes all the time (note that it will crash often just if I go to to the video folder, even if I don't try to play one!)
I downloaded a trial copy of the Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 Ultra. Every time I click on the Create Video File button the program crashes. I get a message that the program must exit. Every time I try this, it crashes.
I'm trying to use iLogic Design Copy to copy an assembly and all its associated parts to another directory. The assembly contains content center parts. Inventor warns me that the destination file of one of the CC parts (and 18 others) will be overwritten. When I go ahead and copy anyway, the copying process stops at that specific CC part. The Design Copy Progress dialog box states there is an error copying that CC part. When I close the Design Copy Progress dialog box, Inventor crashes.
The error copying the CC part: I'm allowed to use content center parts in iLogic Design Copied stuff, right? I searched some related topics and I'm under the impression that Inventor keeps the CC parts in its own directory and shouldn't be trying to overwrite them.
The crash happens everytime I try to open iProperties from the .iam(Assembly) that I use it in. The only other .ipts I use in the .iam is two small rings. I can open iProperties for the .ipt if I open the .ipt for it self, thou I have .iams that use .ipts that are nearly similar to the one causing the crash, that open iProperties just fine.
I have an assembly, very simple with only 20 parts max. No components are 'foreign' (all created within Inventor). I had run a few analysis on it yesterday and everything was good. Today I opened up the assembly and attempted to go into the FEA and then the program crashes. No warnings or anything.
Using INV 2013 Professional . I cant attach the assembly as it is sensitive data.Â
This morning I got to work and attempted to modify an existing drawing file per some requested changes. I figured I would open the drawing file and move some of the things around that I needed but were going to disappear after I edited the model. The end result was to remove some small items from the model and add two other small items to the model. There was some annotation in the drawing connected to the parts I was removing that I wanted to stay in the drawing file so I was editing the drawing file first. This is what happened and what I have tried since:
1.) When I went to copy a weld symbol from one view and paste it in another IV crashed.
2.) I rebooted, attempted again, IV crashed.
3.) I rebooted, attempted to add a new weld symbol and delete the other (instead of copy/paste), IV crashed.
4.) I installed the windows updates my computer was telling me I needed to install (.NET 4.5.1).
5.) I rebooted, attempted again, IV crashed.
6.) I attempted to add a weld symbol to a different drawings in a different project, success.
7.) I attempted to add a weld symbol to a different drawing file in the same project, success.
8.) I attempted the original process again, IV crashed.
9.) I attempted to open the assembly file referenced by the drawing file, success.
10.) I attempted to open a drawing file that references the same model file as well as others in a larger assembly, success.
11.) I removed parts from the assembly file that were no longer needed in the design, success.
12.) I attempted to open the original problematic drawing file, IV crashed.
13.) I attempted to open it again, IV crashed.
14.) I used pack-n-go to consolidate all of the files to upload for my support request.
15.) I attempted to open the pack-n-go drawing file on my laptop.... IT OPENED.
Now, every time I attempt to open the original drawing file on my workstation, IV immediately crashes. When I open the PNG drawing file on my laptop it works. What should my next step be?
IÂ am afraid to go any further because this drawing file is very much needed, and so large and complicated that I do not want to just create the file again (6 sheets detailing a large tank). I also don't want to start copying and pasting the file that does work on my laptop and screw something up with the files on my workstation. And of course, this tank is scheduled to start fabrication today. We are currently still using Inventor2010. I realize that we are using a later version (trying to get boss to allow us to upgrade). I was wondering if that is where our issues stem from. At times when we create iAssemblies we have issues in which objects disappear and/or inventor crashes whenever we switch the tree to a different part number. If we try to place a sub-assembly file into an assembly file some parts seem to disappear. As a work around we have tried to place all components separately (omitting the sub-assembly file), and the file will still crash or objects disappear. Some of our files get a little large, but aren't really to complex. We have been having issues with this one file in particular and it has been redone several times by different users, on different work stations.
