AutoCAD Architecture :: Video Card Driver Version For 2012?
Apr 23, 2011
I have an Nvidia Quadro FX1500 graphics card on XP64. Getting the correct video driver for ACA is critical as we all know. I did a search of the Adesk web site and one page told me to use version 259.57, while another page told me to use version 265.70.
The page telling me to use the newer driver was under the certified hardware page, where ACA is not a choice in the product used, only acad.The page telling me to use the older version was under the ACA support page.Then I go to the Nvidia web site and they tell me to use the 191.00 version.I'vehad a look nside the hardware XML installed with 2012 and te supported driver version is 6.14.0012.6570.
I'm updating drivers for Computers with Nividia Quadro 4000 video cards. I went to the Nvidia website and found two drivers. one I found that was certified for AUTOCAD 2013 and the version is 310.50. And another driver for the video card version is 311.50. should i download the newest version or the ACAD Certified version? Could the "Certified" version download not be current? Are there any drawbacks from one to the other?
Few hours ago Premiere were working perfectly, but I updated the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver because the new version have OpenCL support, and now every time I open a Premiere Project, it crashes after a few seconds. My computer is a Lenovo G400s Laptop with Windows 8.
ve seen many posts about this type of error, however, I do not see how to correct this in 2012. I am operating 2012 architecture in Windows 7 through VMware on an IMac. I have run 2010 and 2011 on this machine without this issue but now 2012 has this issue. I check Performance Tuner Log and the 3d device is VMware SVGA 3D.
I am opening a file from 2004 and I am using AutoCAD Arch 2012. When I open the file everything is there, but the doors do not cut through the walls. The doors are still there but are not "anchored". Is there a way to fix this easily? I also lost everything out of my door schedule. I know I will get my schedule back when the doors get anchored back to the wall.
i've looked on the radeon website to see if there are any driver updates for the radeon 7750 card.it has all updates for the 700 series but not the 7750. Any link for 7750 driver update.i've had cs6 extended for 4 months and ive not really used it because of the problems im having.gone back to using my old cs5 extended which i have no problems at all.
I have recently upgraded to ver 2012 from ver 2000. I have numerous macros that were written for the older version that I need to utilize in ver 2012. I manually recreated them in the new version by typing in the commands from ver 2000. As I expected I am getting errors when I try to run these macros in Ver 2012. The mlayer command, for example, does not work. I am pretty sure I need to use the -layer command and have tried this but I still get errors. While I am relatively proficient in ver 2000 I am having some trouble finding commands in ver 2012 that match the old version. Below is an example of a macro from ver 2000 as well as my attempt to rewrite it in ver 2012.
I have a brand new HP Probook 4530s with the correct requirements to run LT 2012 as well as a certified and tested graphics card and latest drivers, but as soon as I try using offset or trim functions while drawing, my screen goes blank for about 4 seconds and an error message below tells me my Display Driver has stopped working and has recovered.
No matter the screen resolution settings, it still does the same, also the laptop is still cool, so can't be a heat issue.
When I try to run a stress analysis on my model my video driver keeps crashing. I have updated my driver and downloaded the patch from the auto desk website. In addition I have played around with the visual settings on my computer and nothing works. I attached my computers specs.
Not sure if I could have been more specific in the title; however, I have been having the following problems after using CS6;
1. Images are blacked out in the viewing area where the layer is still showing the thumb nail image. 2. A few crahes incl BSOD 3. Unable to launch Bridge (has worked previously) 4. Unable to drag and drop images w/o creating a copy of the layer. This appears intermittent.
Attempted fixes;Shutting down CS6 appears to provide a temporary fix on the black out.Purged the temp storage areas in ACR and CS6 Checked the enviromental variables and the temp directories are on the C drive (Home)OS Win 7 64Bit Ultimate RAM 16 Gb CPU AMD 965 Storage: C: 500 Gb 160 Gb free Scrartch Disk: 20 Gb available Video Card: ATI RADEON 5670
So what to do? How does this interrupt my use of all the functions in photoshop? I am a creative cloud member, so I am all up to date. This is the message I got.
There is a problem with the video driver in Photoshop, and extensions that use graphics hardware is temporarily disabled. See the website of the manufacturer of your video card to get the latest software. To learn more, see: [URL]...
I downloaded Autocad 2014 and installed it on a quite good laptop: i7 3630qm and amd 7670m 2gb. The problem is that in the control panel..graphics settings..autocad says it uses intel hd graphics(the integrated video card).i switched autocad as "high performance" in AMD control panel..but nothing changed.How can i fix this?How can i use my dedicated video card?
PS.i also tried to disable the integrated one..but that isnt the solution.Driver is updated though.
Can a 32 bit version of AutoCAD 2012 be installed on a 64 bit machine with windows 7 and a 64 bit version of AutoCAD 2012 on it? It is a network machine.
Trying to print from LR 5.3 RC using .icc profile in printer settings in Epson Pro 3800 driver the Color Settings and Color drop downs are disabled???? In other applications these options are enabled and selectable.
When I I convert a 2012 dwg into a 2007 format whether using true view or "saving as" 2007 from an open drawing, some of the graphics disappear. How do I convert withour losing these graphics?
I am using Autocad LT 2012 on Windows XP at my office computer. I Save a file in an earlier version e.g. 2004 or 2007 and email to home computer, Autocad LT 2008 on Windows Vista. The file will not open. Message is that the file has been created by a later version. THis has not been my experience with earlier versions.
Wiped my whole computer clean, reinstalled Windows 7, Can't reinstall Autocad 2012 student version.
Installation failed and this is the line from the log:
2013/8/1:13:30:28 carol HENRY Installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable (x86): D:3rdPartyx86VCRedist2008SP1vcredist_x86.exe /q 2013/8/1:13:30:48 carol
error messages that say I can't use various functions because the file has objects from a newer version. I have ACA 2012 and the file is from ACA 2013.
Isn't there a way to convert or eliminate these 'objects' so I can use these files 'normally' in 2012 ACA?
Currently my display card is a NVIDIA Quadro FX 500/600 PCI. One of the reasons I chose this card is it supprted dual montors. Now that I have upgraded to CS4 Extended I need to upgrade my display card.
When I went to Adobe's List of tested graphics display cards for Photoshop CS4 and seen such a long list of cards for Windows.I thought I would come here and ask if any body else has upgraded theirs. I would perfere to go with a nVidia card. Do any of these cards support dual monitors? Or how can I keep using my two montors?
I have a Dell Dimension 4600i with the stock Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller, and 4 gig of ram. I use Photoshop CS3 for my digital scrapbook business, working with image files that are often almost a gig. Besides tweeking PS and XP to get the fastest performance I'm thinking I probably need a beefier video card. I've read decent reviews for the GeForce 7600GT and other video cards but these are aimed at gamers. The sales rep at Dell seemed to think that their top video card wouldn't be that much better for Photoshop work.
Are there video cards out there that would speed up PS? Is it a waste of money getting a card designed for gamers?
I'm having a laptop built mainly to quick edit/cut photoshop files. They (pc club)recommend a nvidia 8600gt 512 card. Will this work well for photoshop editing. I still use my desktop for the main photoshop work.
The system I'm looking at is: Window XP home, nvidia 8600gt go 512mb graphics, intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz, 2gb ram, 200gb sata 7200rpm drive, 802.11n wifi, and 10/100/1000 network card.
I'm a landscape photographer and have used photoshop for several years...my current version is cs1....my system crashed and now in the process of having a new system built.....I will upgrade to cs4...now this is my question what video card do I need?
what the Best video card to speed up photoshop is? I don't use this machine for any 3D (gaming or otherwise) I just want to speed up the filters and file handling of photoshop. The computer has an 8X AGP port , 1GB RAM , 2.0GHZ Athlon cpu. I currently have an matrox g450 vid card.
Having trouble with AutoCAD 2012 when saving to earlier versions? I can't save it down to any other version except for 2012, without the system crashing completely.
Also, from time to time we get the crash when editing MText.
