AutoCAD 2013 :: Alert Message Appearing On Screen While Opening Any File
Nov 16, 2012
I am facing problem in my AutoCAD2013 (Ultimate version) -
1.While opening any file an alert message is appearing on the screen, for closing the same I Have to use ( X) close many times.
2 After opening the file every time I have to set the AUTOcad default setting once again, it is taking too much time,
I am not in a position to format my PC now, The snap shot is attached herewith.
The user has Autocad 2014 64 bit Service Pack 1 running over Windows 7 Pro. Everything is working fine until she receives .dwg files from a supplier that uses Autocad 2010. When she opens those files, the screen is empty, no crash/freeze, no error message, just a black background. The other opened files are still there in the background.
The only way she can open the file is by asking a colleague, also running Autocad 2010, to open the file and convert it using the WBLOCK command. After the conversion the Autocad 2014 user can open the file without issues.
I've a very strong virus auto alert message in my Autocad 2007 -2011, i try to re installed the product and clear the registry editor as well as change all the AutoCad version, i also try to scan with Kaspersky and Avast but none of them can catch the virus. Unfortunately the auto alert message still keep alert while i'm opening the autocad design file,
Using PS CS3, I opened a few JPG images taken with a Nikon D100 a few years ago. I copy/pasted one image on top of another, flattened it and saved as a PSD. Later on, when I double-click on the PSD, PS opens and I get a script alert: "Nikon Corp, Nikon D100, was used to shoot this file!"
The original JPEGs were of course shot with the D100, but the PSD certainly was not.
if I leave PS open, close the file and double-click it again, the same message does not appear. But if I close PS and then repeat the above, the message re-appears. Which leaves me with two questions:
This just started happening and I don't know if I inadvertently have changed a setting. I open a file in Photoshop and the file is obviously open because I can see it in the history or layers panel. However it does not appear on the screen. I've tried changing my viewing and other things, and it just isn't there.
My only solution is to shut Photoshop down completely, reopen Photoshop and reopen the file. Very inconvenient.
while working on a new file, which only has our 4 standard textstyles, something happened at some point during the work period where multiple textstyles named "AUDIT_1_12030....." and counting up appeared. over 40 of them.
they are all somehow embedded within the each object in the file, even lines, which confuses me. Noweven if i wanted to just copy most of the project excluding blocks, dims, leaders and text, (which was my original assumption that the textstyles were in there somewhere), I cant. I usually am able to remove unwanted textstyles through the TXTMRG LISP/VBA macro. It has no effect this time.
I am wondering if it is possible to have a message (note) appear upon the opening of a file? I would like to write notes about the files we are working with, so that succeeding users don't alter information parameters mistakenly, or get confused about the orientaion of a component, etc. etc. etc.
Lightroom 4. Can't get error message that a particular file is missing off the screen. I have verified that the file is gone. Now how do I get rid of that message
illustrator cs3 - every time i open a file it tells me to repair/replace an image.. when i do it ignores the fact i did and tells me to repair/replace the same image again. what shall i do? is that a windows 7 problem?
when trying to reopen a file from the "recently used" file list? When I try to click on a file from the list it gives me a message stating "error opening file". I know this will happen if the file has been moved to another location, but the files are in the same place as when I originally opened them. None of the files in the list will open anymore. Is this a pathing issue?
I'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
I have Photoshop CS 6. Every time I start the computer and I start Photoshop the trial message saying how many days are left to buy it comes up. I do not have a trial version and even though I put my serial number, the message comes up.
They, at Photoshop have installed and uninstall the program 3 times with no success. How do I get rid of this message?
I have AutoCAD Civil 2013 and AutoCAD 2010 installed on my Windows 7 system.
Whenever I double click on a *.dwg file Windows starts up Civil instead of AutoCAD 2010 to open the file. Even if I already have AutoCAD 2010 running.
I went into the Control Panel Associations and attempted to Associate a file type with a specific program. When I pcik the *.dwg file extension the only option that Windows gives me is "AutoCAD Application". I even browsed to the AutoCAD 2010 directory and manually chose acad.exe but Windows just defaulted back to "AutoCAD Application".
When AutoCAD is closed and I try to open a drawing from the Windows Explorer I get a fatal error and when AutoCAD is opened before opening the file from Windows Explorer everything works fine. We have this problem with several stations at our office.
I am looking for a way to verify what version an AutoCAD file is without opening the file. I have a customer that requests the files to be in an older version of AutoCAD and for QA purposes I would like to verify that the files we are sending out are in the correct version.
So my other designer is having issues getting his ACAD to open directly from a DWG file. He can open just fine using hydracad, or autocad, or acad mechanical, and open the file once inside. The problem only arises while opening straight from the DWG file on our server (or his hard drive itself, doesnt matter the location). Any DWG file for that matter. Myself and another designer are able to open them all just fine, and have no issues. We are all running with the exact same settings of startup (1), and all have the same computer specs.
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5502 @ 1.87GHz 1.86GHz (2 Processors) 8gig ram 64 bit operating system. Nvidia Quadro NVS 290 and a couple 250 gig Hard drives.
We tried running a repair and it didn't do anything. Not sure what the issue could be. I tried performing quite a few of them for him (even though none of the titles indicated they were having troubles opening just with DWGs, as most were having freezes on the splash screen just opening the .exe).
Do a quick print screen of support file search path? Our computer's are set up by an outside source and I believe they did not migrate anything correctly or did something incorrectly. My issue specifically is anything to do with rendering and materials displaying is not working. I just want to make sure ACAD 2013 is looking at all the standard file locations along with our customization files. This is happening on 2 computers that have 2013 installed, all the rest are still using 2012 and this works fine. I tried exporting that profile, but still nothing works for rendering.
way of opening images in CS2 where after opening they will appear in the middle of the CS screen rather then in the top left corner?
I can drag and maximize so they appear in the middle, but on reopening another image they default to the top left again, I would like them to always open in the middle?
On Mac, CS6, there is a rectangle that is always visible and I can't remove it.It appears even on every document and even if no documents are opened. It's static on screen and doesn't move with when moving the document.Maybe its a bug or an element from the GUI? Even a system restart doesn't fix it.
i am trying to open a revit 2012 file in to revit 2013 but it is showing me an error thar says: There is a circular chain of references among the highlighted elements. and then this message: Data in this file is currupt and needs to be manually recoverd. but I can perfectly open the same file in revit 2012..
