I am not sure how to correct it. I have a Windows 7 pro x64 system running Inventor 2012
I've applied the Mac Photoshop CS6 13.0.2 update this morning, but now, I cannot open one of my working .psd document anymore, Photoshop raises a "could not complete your request because of a program error" message everytime. I've tried to open it on another workstation, a Windows one, running Photoshop CS5 12.0.4, and it's okay, meaning that my .psd file is not corrupted.
I've tried to disable Photoshop extensions from the extensions manager, but problem persists.
have encountered an error message on opening Lightroom 4 using Windows 7 Pro 32 bit.
The message is saying - Error in reading preview cache.
The configured Heidi Driver cannot be loaded. Switching to default software.

I am having an issue opening a SolidWorks file in Inventor. The file is a native SolidWorks .sldprt file. This is the procedure I followed: File-Open in Inventor, changed file type to SolidWorks Files and selected the file on my computer to be opened. I then recieve an HTML error message stating "Error - Translation failed. This version is not supported." I am currently using Inventor 2013. I received the file from one of our sister companies and we were hoping to be able to exchange native files easily using Inventors built in translator.
Any translator or add-in that would work to open files of this type.
I'm getting this error (see attachment) when I try to open an NX file in Inventor 2011. I've downloaded the file from a data transfer site and I can preview the part in the preview window, but it does not open properly. This is the first time this has happened, as I've converted files before with no problem.

It seems to be as I try to load x-ref's.
I am using Inventor 2012, service pack 1 is installed as is hotfix DL17804781.
When opening certain Catia files, I get a Runtime Error. After I click ok, Inventor closes without the ability to send a crash report. I never had this issue using Inventor 2011, so I am not sure if it is new to 2012 or if I have something else going on.

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy user has AutoCAD Inventor 2010 and she wants to open a file created using AutoCAD 2007 but always failed with the error message that system running on low memory then Autocad will close. The file can be open without problem using AutoCAD 2007. I'd tried using a computer with Xeon Processor and 4 GB RAM but still facing the same problem so I guessed it's not the hardware problem. Is it a bug and how to solve it?

I've recently become aware that other people are getting an error message when opening many of my my psd files if they are on earlier versions of PS and also on PSE, (including the latest version). The message is:
This document contains unknown data which will be discarded to keep layers editable. To preserve the original appearance instead, choose flatten to load composite data as a flattened image.
Three options follow: Flatten Cancel Keep Layers
When 'keep layers' is selected the file opens as normal. However, people with much earlier version (CS version 8) don't get the option to keep layers, and the layers are flattened when the document is opened.
I still have CS5 on my mac, and I find that if I take my finished file into CS5 and save it there, the customer does not get the message above, and the file behaves as it should. Those on very early version of PS can also open the files without any issues.
I've been using CS6 since it was released and have had to delve through all my files and save them in CS5. Not every file is affected and I've been unable to find a common thread.
how to remove following message which appears when i open new / file existing file. This also changes my settings and autocad does not work properly.

We have views of a large system that will constantly stay in a "updating" mode.
However you can place another base view of the same system from a different perspective and that view will solve out.
In the attached image the view on the left will not finish updating while the view on the right solve out rather quickly.
I am wondering if it is possible to have a message (note) appear upon the opening of a file? I would like to write notes about the files we are working with, so that succeeding users don't alter information parameters mistakenly, or get confused about the orientaion of a component, etc. etc. etc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI defined alignments and a surface in Civil 3d, then reopened the same drawing in Autocad 2012 to amend some line work (just because I like drafting in this better). When I next needed to do an inquiry off the surface, I opened the drawing in C3D, but all the alignments and my surfaces were gone! Why doesn't C3D retain alignments/surfaces after you've opened a drawing in Autocad 2012? Would you recommend keeping a separate C3D base drawing for the design work, and another for the drafting? and just xref-ing between the two?
