When trying to cut a section in ADT 2012 I get the following message:
Command: _AecVerticalSection
Command not allowed because drawing contains objects from a newer version of this application.
How can i get ADT 2012 to cut the section i need?
When a user closes ACA 2012 (sp2)he gets an empty crash message.
We are running win7 64bit.
Just trying to clean up a surface. I can swap edges fine. This project was a 2009 project.

We have AutoCad LT 2012 version. We encounter fatal error when we save the drawing. we cannot finish our job because everytime we save our work it will show a messsage FATAL ERROR.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am getting an error message when I am trying to insert a schedule room tag. It does not matter which room tag out of the content browser I select, I get the same message. the message is as follow: "No symbol has been specified for the tag" All of the tags have worked up until today. Nothing has changed that I know of on our network and all of the paths seem to be pointing to the correct directories. We are currently using Architecture 2008. This problem is only coming up with these specific room tags.

I'm using ACA 2013 on windows7 64bit. I've tried purging and audit but still happens. It wouldn't bother me except its taking for ever to wait for them to stop running in command line.

The message is saying - Error in reading preview cache.
Having issues with where the first section view starts when trying to place multiple section views on sheets. The problem I am having is that the offset from the bottom of the sheet frame seems to be a half unit off and grid lines will not line up with the sheet gridlines we have developed. I attached a pdf of the resulting offset. what I need to look for to adjust the bottom offset?

This happens every time AutoCAD is closed. However it is isolated to a few systems all of which were installed using the same deployment as the other systems that do not display this warning. AutoCAD performs as expected but displays this warning when closed.

I kept getting a message in the command line: "WARNING: Xdata tag 100 is missing" like hundred to 1000 times and while its scrolling through this same message in the command line I can not do anything but wait for it to finish. Not sure if a recent windows update has anything to do with it. I am using XP Pro. I have a Dell with 3GB of ram and a Radeon X300/X550/X1050 video card and am running dual monitors. I have an upgrade to Archtiecture 2010 so rather than reinstall 2009 I installed 2010. Unfortunately, same problem. In 2009 I seem to remember that it was more random. In 2010, it pops up when I do an xref reload.

Any new methods for depicting flared end sections in profile views in Civil 3D 2013 or 2012? I just loaded Civil 3D 2013 last week and have been checking to see if flared end section depiction in profile views is any better than previous versions. I haven't noticed anything different. I'm I the only one wanting a easier way to depict flared end sections in profiles? In short, I have never been able to figure it out.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI migrated from AC3D 2010 32-byte to AC3D 2012 64-byte recently. When I migrate my projects to 2012 and open the old 2010 drawings in 2012 I lose the surface lines out of my section sets. It doesn't seem to bother the profile views, only the section views.
Is there a way to work around this problem w/o having to regenerate the section views?
I recently downloaded student version of architecture 2011 and works great, but how do I get rid of the message that plots with my drawings, produced by autodesk education product.

I have refreshed the section and have also change to a different 2d style, however if i create a new section, i am able to see the changes on this new section but not on the old one. View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm working with Architecture 2011 and when I draw a 2D section, the defining line is missing for the structural members cut by the section. The hatching displays fine but the line around the material isn't there.
Under the material definitions I've got the 2d section / elevation linework turned on and under the elevation style I've got the defining line turned on and set to by material.
The defining line will come on if I turn on the inner and outer shrinkwrap but then it's color is defined either by layer or by color in which case it's all the same color and i have to manually edit the linework to change the color.
Looking for options to set resolution in a 2D Section created with "BldgSectionLineGenerate".
I have not had curved objects appeer faceted in these sections before.
I'm using Architecture 2011 trial and it generates good rendering, but after adjusting sun angle (time), I received a message: Make sure the destination directory is writable and that the disk is not full. Rendering aborted.
