I notice that if I use the CS6 feature of holding down the shift key while pickwhipping a new parent (to get the child to move to the parent), it deletes any keyframes I have set (position,scale,rotation). Is this normal behavior?
View 1 RepliesI have created keyframes from audio file and used them to generate some effect, all works fine, it is amazing how easy it is However, I would like to generate flash (?) so that these effects would be dynamic to different audio files after export.
What I want is basically to create effects that can be used in life event to the streaming music.
I have this audio layer that I want to add as a soundtrack to the intro video I made. The audio is a bit longer than the intro so I added 2 keyframes at the end of the audio to act as a fade out (I decreased the audio levels from +0.00 dB to -19.00 dB). The problem is when I export the project, I don't hear this faiding out. Is like AE doesn't "reads" the 2 audio keyframes. (When I hit play inside the project, with RAM preview, I can hear the fading out, but not when exporting). I have to mention I export the project as .FLV, as .AVI exports much bigger files. I attached a screenshot so you can see the keyframes I'm talking about.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI wanted to copy some keyframes from AE to Calc, but when I copied it back it only created one keyframe, instead of the two. When I copy them from AE to the Windows Editor, do some changes there and copy them back, t works fine and there are two keyframes.

I'm still animating the ball rolling all over the place and I wonder if theres a shortcut or a script that will let me to select all the keyframes in the current frame, in a graph editor.So I can move them simultaneously! =D Click drag selection becomes a pain after several hours..

Holding shift is the only way for me to select multiple lines right now (other than dragging of course) but that's not what I'm used to and it annoys me a lot. At first everything is fine but then after a while it does this without me changing any options at all.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have several placeholders where I have added keyframes for instance opacity fade up and down at the beginning and ending of the layer. If I replace it and the video is longer/shorter than the placeholder then the keyframes will not adjust. Is there some way to have keyframes move dynamically based on the video length? I looked into expressions to calculate the start and end time of the layer then fade in and fade out using the time but it was quite time consuming and inefficient, it would also be hard to write new code for say position versus have dynamic keyframes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI created a 3D object (a Doctor Who TARDIS) just for fun and I'm trying to figure out how to animate it spinning in space with the orbit camera and keyframes. I do the orbit and the keyframing works fine, but when I play it back the whole thing zooms in and out madly, almost like it is throbbing in and out. This funny "throbbing" happens in between the keyframes.
The zoom attribute in the camera options is actually locked, the only attributes changing as I move along the timeline are the position attributes, which I am keyframing off.
ACAD 2014: VIEWSECTION ->Select Parent View: what is it that you're actually supposed to be selecting? It clearly has to be in paper space. I assumed it was a viewport but when I select that I get the message "1 selected, 1 filtered" and nothing is selected.

On the second's layers i use other footages with other start points, while the keyframes of the layers should stay there (related to the layer). I have replaced the the second's footages by alt-drag&drop. But i can not set other start points. So how can i shift the footage behind the layer?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying (without luck) to shift-select all of the photos in a folder to bring into a folder that I've created in VideoStudio Pro X4. I have the folder showing up a highlighted, then go to browse, then to the folder, but with I try to drag the folder into Video Studio, it then stops showing the folder and I get a circle with a line thru it. How does one easily bring in a batch of photos to use as you are building a project??

While working with my Easy Ease, the SHIFT+F9 just no longer works or hasn't since installation. SHIFT+CTRL+F9, or F9 work as intended.(I checked the pref text file for my keyboard short cuts and SHIFT+F9 is assigned correctly)
Now when I create a preset then wish to view or browse my presets I click Animation > Browse Preset, and nothing happens.(Made a shortcut to my preset folder)
I know this problem is really simple, but I just can't seem to get it to work. I should be able to left-click on a layer, hold in the shift key while left-clicking on a layer further down the list to select multiple layers. It doesn't work, I can't even get the (Alt-Left Click) command to work, allowing me to select individual layers.
Both these commands work in Image Ready and Flash just fine.
I have checked the keyboard settings, but I am not really sure what to look for - nothing seems out of the ordinary.
How do I select multiple items without having to hold down the shift key in ACLT 2013? I didn't have this problem in 2010.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo this really doesn't have much to do with objects in a drawing. Say for instance, I go into the PURGE dialogue box, and I want to select multiple layers to purge, but not all of them. If I click a layer, and the hold CTRL and click other layers, the only one that stays highlighted is the one I just clicked...so using CTRL doesn't allow me to highlight multiple entities at the same time.
It's gets a little more weird using SHIFT. The conventional SHIFT method (works in Windows Explorer and other applications) is clicking an object, holding SHIFT, and then clicking another object further down the list...this will highlight both of those entities clicked, plus every single entitiy in between them. In AutoCAD (use the PURGE dialogue box again for reference), if I click an object, hold SHIFT and click an object down the list, it will highlight the last object clicked and everything in between the two, but it will deselect the original object. Also, if I use SHIFT to select multiple objects, and then go back to the original that was deselected and hold CTRL to select it, the last object that was selected using SHIFT gets deselected.
I am trying to create tilt shift effects. issue in selecting focus and blur areas. I do the following - Go to Quick Mask(Press 'Q') --> Select Gradient (Press 'G') --> Then I draw a vertical line to define the focus area. Usually a relatively darker red color used to appear as a band. But suddenly I see a very vague red color. And when I exit Quick Mask (Press 'Q') again the marching ants selects the entire picture and not the focus and blur areas.

However, while trying to solve the problem, i've opened another drawing where i AM able to make grips "hot". It doesn't appear to be a system setting issue.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis problem has come and gone and come again, so it may be windows related, but only has issues with CorelDRAW X6System runs fine and prints from windows and even CorelDRAW X4, but as soon as you start CorelDRAW X6 and create or open a document, the spooler stops and you cannot print. If you just open CorelDRAW X6 everything is fine.
Error in the even logs is generic... "The Print Spooler service terminated unexpectedly."
Printers are network attached and have been in use for years with no problems.
When using the standard type tool, periodically, the keyboard arrow keys will not work. You can manually change your selection point, but not by using the left of right arrow.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've just recently found that new chromatic aberration tools kills settings for old chromatic aberration tools. Lets say I have a PV2010 photo with adjusted sliders for chromatic aberration reduction and selected defringe "all edges".Now I'm importing this photo to LR 4.1. I'm not updating process version!
Photo is automatically updated by Lightroom to new CA controls (note it still PV2010 photo). Well, I must say the the results are superb - they are the same as I was achieving with manual sliders, but now with only one click. But the problem is - Lightroom says that metadata have been changed, and I am writing back changes to XMP.But now XMP contains settings for new CA tools, but settings for old CA tools are LOST.
So if I want to open this image in ACR 6.6, or send it to someone with older LR version I end up with completely resetted CA settings, because ACR 6.6 does not have new CA tools, and settings for old tools are killed by LR 4.1 - they are just removed from XMP. So I am loosing CA removal settings completely when opening image in earlier version of application. And I am NOT updating process version!
I've been having this problem for a while with Photoshop and my Wacom pen...
I'll be painting and I'll bump the middle button on my wacom pen and I'll get the circle of circles that spins forever... until I force quit. It's so cumbersome. I have my middle button mapped to the middle mouse click.
I use a mac and currently on CC. I have an intuos 5 but It used to happen to my three too. It's been less of a problem lately because of the crash recovery feature but it's still a huge problem...Like if there was an auto save feature or something then I'd be less frustrated.
I seem to have trouble articulating what's going on as well because all I get back is... did you update the drivers? it must be a wacom issue. try an update... etc.
The wheel spins but the pen still draws... like... FML
In the engineering notebook, I have sectioned the assembly so that I can show what I need to note. I would like to freeze the view. When I freeze the view, the section goes away and I cant see what I need to.

design Center - display order goes out the window. The inserted block is redefined but the rest of the drawing loses all its display order. sortents (127, 33, 51, etc) and displayorderctl does nothing, either before or after the block is redefined. hatches and blocks just jump to the front (display order shows as order of drawn not order as moved to) Regenall does nothing.
absolute nightmare with display order managed elevations (solid hatch, baconies, windows, multple buildings, all overlaying!!)
i'm completely new to 3DS Max software. I am using 3Ds MAx 2012. I have a model. Is it possible to DELETE the key frames and change the animation. When i created another new object, it allowed me to delete key frames, but not this one. One more thing: There are no red bars in the time slider for me to edit/ delete. When i right click on the time slider, 3 things pop up:
- filter
-configure
-go to time
The "Delete" option is blanked out?
Just added an mp4 and can't add a keyframe to either audi0 or visual.
When I try, I get the red line (render ) and when I click add key frame again the line turns to yellow.
This is from get-go as this is the first edit that I want to make - a fade in.
