1- I am learning how to use the backburner program and finally got two computers to render an image together. Each line, there are 22, is rendered with different lighting, making the image garbage when stitched together. see attached. Is this a common problem?
2- separate question- is there a way to limit the cpu usage for a job sent to the network?
regaurding pictures with scan lines. I have searched and searched and can come up with no way to remove scan lines, but lots of ways to put them in.
I create ads and was emailed a picture of a house that is covered in lines. I would love to know if there is a way to remove them in PS. I have PS CS.
i got make scan lines i make a line across take the clone tool clone it as a patter and when i goto the bucket and select pattern i cant find it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere are a few Aluminum Composite Panels represented in my model.To cheat I use RENDERABLE LINES for the Joint lines so that they show up when Rendered.However, I did something stupid -- like erase all of them. They must have been grouped or something. But they are ALL GONE.SO, I went to earlier versions of my model and tried to do the following:
1. Merge: Fail. I see the Gizmos for the lines, but they are a no show in Wireframe and they do NOT render
2. Import .3ds: Fail. All I see are Green Outlines of where they should be AND STILL do not render.
3. Xref: Fail. Same as attempt 1.
QUESTIONs:
-Why are these lines not able to import, or be seen?
-What other solutions (besides redrawing them) have I overlooked?
I have created a wall panel pattern on my wall surface using the pats and assembly tool. I drew out the pattern using the sketch line tool and I chose a joint condition in between the panels. The joint lines of the panels show up in my 3d model but when I render it the joints lines don't render. How can make my panel joint lines show up in my render?

when I send an image from Lightroom 4.3 to Photoshop CS6 (CMD+E), it renders slightly differently. I notice Photoshop (CR) seems to not apply the lens correction profile I apply in Lightroom. Sometimes it seems the luminosity of the image too is slightly off, but updating the image preview in Lightroom seems to fix this (but not the lens profile issue). I thought it was a monitor color profile problem, but what has it to do with the lens profile correction? To me, it just seems Photoshop renders the dng differently than Lightroom.
I'm on a Mac and everything is updated to the latest release (both Adobe and OSX), so I don't think there should be a compatibility problem between software versions..
I'm having a bit of trouble with Photoshop. Colors are displayed differently, than in other programs (Paint, Firefox etc...), which makes it impossible for me to design anything. I tried restoring my settings by holding Ctrl + Alt + Shift on start up and it's still the same. I also tried re-installing Photoshop.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am working with Autocad 2011 and I have a problem with the geometry display. The block I created was a dynamic block of a concrete nail we use in surveying. The circle is created with two lines crisscrossing each other so as to create 4 quadrants within it. I also created it with visibility states and a lookup parameter for scaling to the appropriate size according to the drawing scale. The visibility state is for "Found state" and a "Placed state". For the found state 2 of the 4 quadrants are filled in(using a hatch pattern) and for the placed state all 4 quadrants are cleared. What is happening is the hatch pattern is changing to different quadrants of the circle depending on what scale you chose from the lookup scale list.

If i go to stretch a polyline with some sort of arc joined. no part of the arc inside the window will move.

I hope I'm using the right terminology here... imagine a square drawn by Pen tool. A square with a stroke and fill. What I would like to do is to "none" colour two opposite sides (strokes) of the square while keeping the fill color inside. What is the best way (or any way for that matter) of doing this?

I would import a jpg as a smart object into my working doc. If I wanted to make changes to it, I would double click on it int he layer panel and it would open as a .psb. I would make changes and click save and it would update in my original document.
Using this method now, a "save as" window pops up to save my doc as a psd or whatever and when I do, it saves it in some temp folder but it does not update in my original document.
Photoshop displaying image differently on a same screen in different placement. Same image when moved a bit to the left changes image saturation. This is happening only in photoshoop CS6. I have two older versions of photoshoot that are working just fine. No other program is shoving behiever like this. I tried different files jpg .psd .png, same behavior.

[URL]What I want to do is to extract the girl's image and save it with a transparent background as a gif, and then put it up on the web page I've created, which has a dark grey gradient background.
The problem is when I do that, the contour of the girl's image contains a lot of white space and what appears like brush strokes! The white space doesn't show up at all while I'm using the Refine Radius tool on a black background. It also doesn't show up when I save the image as a gif on a dark background layer in Photoshop. It only appears when I save it on a transparent background and display it on my web page!

Somehow my dockers started displaying in two columns side-by-side, where they used to be all on top of one another. Nothing I've tried has resulted in my getting it back the old way.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am trying to use our standard room name block in two new files from a client but it is not showing up the way it is supposed to. It looks like a totally different font. I have checked the text options box and it says it's "romans", just like it is supposed to, but it does not look right. It also does it with regular mtext that I copy in from another file. Once I change it back it looks right, but when I pull it in, it defaults to Romans and @arialunicode MS. I'm assuminng that's what the block is doing as well, but how do I fix that?

I would like for the core wall to be boldest and for all the other finishes and sheathing to be finer and lighter.
Using the Manage>Object Styles didn't do this for me: I am looking for more that just one setting for the entire wall. Someone suggested settings for the materials, but I have not seen any line weight settings for materials.

Normally when I hit move or copy there cursor will change to a square and I can click single items for the command. If I enter "c" on the command line and change to the cross cursor I can select multiple objects by clicking and dragging.
In some drawing the cursor will not change to a square and I can not enter "c" on the command line. I can select single objects but the cursor becomes the standard windows arrow.
Is there a setting / variable in the drawing that can affect this?
If you create a leader in autocad it automatically places the text as shown i figure 1. I would like to create one that places it like in figure 2. How do you do this the smartest way?
