I added a flash animation as an overlay track but cannot get it to extend further than the original animation length, I am trying to have the animation as a background throughout the video.
When I open a file, it will also normally appear as layer in layer-palette. When I open a second file next to the 1st and try to move item from that file to 1st file, it can not be done.
I can move the item in it´s own file but I can´t drag it to another file. Layers do not merge under one window but stay in their separate windows.
Selecting or filling a region of non-uniform color is a common need. Adjusting tolerance is one approach, but I find that it is often problematic. Sometimes you have to play with the tolerance to get the right value. (New paint bucket features described for 4.0 should work with this.) Other times there is no single tolerance value that will give the desired results.
I wish that the paint bucket would simply behave like a real paint bucket in the sense that I could drag it through adjacent regions to fill them all with the same color value. This would give the same result as clicking in each of these regions in turn, but it would be faster and easier, especially in cases involving small or narrow bands of color that are difficult to distinguish visually. I come across such situations frequently. The same thinking would apply to the magic wand.
I imagine accomplishing this by perhaps holding down Ctrl or some other modifier key as I do my dragging. This would not interfere with expected behavior by people who have trouble clicking without moving the mouse.
I would like to produce high quality video files from VideoStudio X4. I can produce MP4 files 1280*720 (16:9), 25 FPS, but how do i produce similar quality (and aspect ratio) in FLV format?
I have found that the latest version of Flash makes some of the older flash files from VS9 jerky or causes them to stall altogether. To fix this I simply use the Flash removal tool from Adobe and install version 10.0.45.
Magically all my old Flash files have movement again.Trouble is every couple of days Flash somehow updates itself back to the current 10.1.something and the old files stop working again. Is there a way to stop Flash from updating automatically?
There is a new option on X6 to download an edited video to an SD card. How do I download to a USB Flash Drive? Is it the same option or is there a better way.
I have a flash animation, just shapes and tweening. I was wondering if there's a way to convert it to After Effects but keeping it editable (i.e. getting AE shapes and keyframes).
I want to use VSx4 to create a custom sized .swf, flash file for a website. I plan to use a free program called Any Video Converter to covert my final VSx4 creation to the .swf as I hope that future versions of VS will have .swf output.
I'll be creating the video using stills with transitions in between.
Now I haven't tried this yet but...
I know how to change the project properties to custom frame sizes which is fine but what should I aim to be creating? I was thinking of an MP4 (H264) file but just wondering if you have other thoughts on what I should create as a video file before converting to .swf
The stills will be j-pegs. No audio will be involved
In my Adobe Premire Pro CS6 project, When I select a clip that I want to drag down into the editing section it only allows me to drag the video and NOT the audio. I need both video and audio and it wont let me, I don't think I clicked anything wrong but
I am preparing a video of our dog and would like to have paw prints that move across the title clip. I thought I could do this in Painting Creator but not sure how to insert an image.
Considering the use of sequences of still images (e.g. created through vector software as Corel Draw), whether “VideoStudio Pro X4” is able to make the following kind of animation?
Apple Keynote Animation [URL]
If yes, which are the name of techniques/resources to be employed?
I'm currently evaluating the product. I like most of what I see, but I do have one major issue - animation of text. You can't use the transitions on the text because they effect the entire screen, not just the text, blacking out the main video. The text animations only have a few types that allow entry and exits. Which mean that the text can pop-up, but only disappear at the end. This seems to be a major oversite in an otherwise stellar product. I use pinicle now, which is nowhere near as nice in most aspects, but in pinicle I can slide text on and curl off or any other combo I choose. Way better.
I am trying to create a movie with Corel Video Studio Pro with imported images that I have created in a 3D program! The framerate should be 24frames/second in the movie but it looks like
I can only get down to a image speed of 0.1 second or 10 frames/second by editing each images and then reduce duration time. Is it impossible to get the duration time to 0.0417 that is about a speed of 24 frames/second? If it is impossible maybe something for the wishlist to the future!
Next quistion is is it possible to somewhere in the settings change the duration time for images so you don't need to edit each images each time! It can be hard if you have over 400 images to edit!
I am thinking of purchasing VideoStudio pro X3, but I can't seem to find out from the website if it will do exactly what I need.
I want to use an image sequence of an animation created in Lightwave 3D, bring it into VideoStudio and then create a BluRay disc with it on. I am hoping to do this in one go rather than convert it to a movie file first.
I'm trying to create a text animation to come in from right to left and then pause, but because it does not fill the whole width of the screen it only starts from the centre of the screen. How can I get it to enter from the edge ?
At the moment I am creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint and exporting them as movies and then into Videostudio. I am also using Powerpoint for written content, such as slides. This is fine for basic informational type videos but obviously it's very limiting.
Before I bought Videostuido I used Animoto for a while and that creates some very nice movements and effects. I'd like to be able to do the same. Recommend an entry level animation package?
I have just loaded X4 (previously used VS 11.5 Plus); however, I can not seem to get the sound working properly inside the X4 program. My sound card is fine and when I play/select the individual files using windows explorer they all play fine. Is there a global mute setting that I have to turn off/on?
Also, I have a lot of audio, transitions(burger, etc) and animation files from VS 11.5+ that I would like to make available in X4. How you upload these file into X4? How to load the Bonus Audio content that came with X4 (animal, cartoon, etc)...
I have a Nikon D3100 camera and I am trying to use it to make stop animation movies. When I plug it in via USB I can import videos/photos to my computer, etc...so it is recognized. However, when I try to use it in VideoStudio X4 the only option I get is a webcam. Are there any special drivers I need to make this work? I have searched google a bit, but maybe I am missing something. I am using the trial version of the program to try and get things worked out before I actually purchase it. The software looks wonderful for stop animation so I really want to make this work.
I'm new to Video Studio and new to the forum after downloading the trial of X5. Want to know how to move and scale a graphic such as a jpeg across the screen along an animation path - iE; I have a picture of an object that starts at one point in the top left hand corner which I can animate to grow bigger and move to the bottom of the screen.
Though I am a long time CorelDraw user I've recently download VideoStudio Pro trial. The problem I am having is importing a sequence of animation images (360 total at 30frames/sec) The images where render and exported from Lightwave3D (jpg)
The only way I found to import the images was through the capture button and that worked fine. Once that was done imported VS editor and exported to several formats...
the problem is the sequence is choppy and not smooth it is a wee bit choppy the 30 frames/sec imports fine but the final play back is not smooth as it should be. If I export directly to video from Lightwave the playback is smooth. I'd render direct from LW but LW is is a wee bit wonky at time when writing direct to video format. LW prefers direct to image then you would composite in a 3rd party program
I tried VS video at 60 frames, 15 frames that made no difference at all the same unsmooth playback
How do I import a sequence of images at 30/sec so then export so that the playback is smooth.
I am doing a project in Photoshop, and the only thing that is throwing me off is the font. I have the correct font (it was provided), however, I am completely clueless as to how to extend the legs of the A and the G.
