Nov 30, 2012I create animated gifs frequently using the Frame Animation pallet. The default frame rate starts out as 10 seconds, so I always have to change it to 4 seconds. Is there anyway to reset the default frame rate that I start out with to 4 seconds, so that I don't have to change it every time?
Preferences did not yield any promising menus
I know the standard default reset with many Adobe products is to change it without a document open, but in PS CS5.5 if you do not have a document open the frame rate option is greyed out

Dec 13, 2012I need to copy my edited photos to a flash drive to play on our photo frame. I don't want to move them, just copy them and they need to be JPGs for the frame. I would prefer to keep the files full size rather than dumb them down for e-mail. What are my options? I have thousands of photos in LR and now I'm concerned that LR won't do the job for me.

3ds Max :: Animation Stops After First Frame
Jul 11, 2013I just downloaded a trial for 3Ds Max 2014, and am now trying to render an animation.My problem occurs when the first frame has been rendered. It just stops there.I can close everything except the rendering window, where the "total animation" is empty but "current task" is full.
Why it just stops rendering?I have set the render setup for a specific range and set it to save the animation as an avi file.

May 25, 2013I have a jpeg sequence of 165 frames in my psd animation. Upon export (as an .mov file), I need to keep frames 1-29 and 80-165 as is, but speed up frames 30-79. How can achieve this in PS CS4?
I have tried exporting each of the clips individually and then brought them into i Movie to speed up the middle portion and subsequently re-piece them all together. This works great, but I am not familiar enough with i Movie or Premiere Pro to export the file properly; it seems to not allow me to export it with the same specs (mainly size, 1280x1024 at 30fps) as my source files.

Dec 16, 2011Is there any way to hide an object for just one frame of animation? Actually, I want to hide it for several-- I'm doing renderings for a game, and at one point I want to render the character's hands without the object he's holding.
But when I hide an object, it hides everywhen. How can I say "this object doesn't appear between frames 17-30?"

How do I create narrow pieces with a faux wood look to make up the frame I want to put around the sign?
Is there a simple way to create the frame, then apply a wood texture?
I have used the make frame option in Xara, put I can't seem to get a wood grain look to lay on the frame I have created.

Jul 16, 2012i was doing a frame by frame animation. i already have over 100 drawn out and everything was going fine till i don't know what i did. so here is my current state .the frame still look the same, if i select a frame it shows the currect layer configuration on the canvas, but the layer pallette shows all my my layers as visible. selecting other frames does not change the layer palette even though the frame changes.also, i cannot edit any of the layers. i don't get any errors but nothing happens. if i start a new layer i can't draw on it either. this is cs5 on mac.

Feb 29, 2012is there any way to delete a mesh based on frame? I have an object that fades to nothing after it's use is done, at frame 3000 say, and I was wondering if there was a way to just delete the mesh after that. Normally I would use vol select and a deletemesh modifier, but those seem to mess with the Pathdeform WSM a fair amount. This is really more for the sake of optimization, since that's around a million polygons that are still there, and making my poly count look silly high. Currently using the visibility track to make it vanish.

In another editor I can use them as "masks" for photos - in second attach (capture.png) you can see on left - usual photo, on right - photo with mask as photo frame. How I can make same effect in Xara Xtreme? I try to use different modes, substract/add shapes and other - but no luck.

Mar 25, 2013This is an annoying issue within photoshop. I am working on an animation for a video and when I try to change the position of a charater on a new frame it also changes the positioning on all of the frames previous of it.
I am making a walk cylcle and I want the character to walk from one end of the screen to the nextl but, when I make a new frame, move him to the opposite end of the screen on a NEW FRAME it changes the previous frames position to match the current one I am on.
