View 4 RepliesI create animated gifs frequently using the Frame Animation pallet. The default frame rate starts out as 10 seconds, so I always have to change it to 4 seconds. Is there anyway to reset the default frame rate that I start out with to 4 seconds, so that I don't have to change it every time?
Preferences did not yield any promising menus
I know the standard default reset with many Adobe products is to change it without a document open, but in PS CS5.5 if you do not have a document open the frame rate option is greyed out

In the timeline panel in CS6 EXTENDED, you have a video feature, where you can animate three things:
Position Style Opacity

What I would like to know, is: How can I animate rotation of a layer? I want to rotate my layer at an angle and animate it. But when I rotate, the first animation frame is also rotated, resulting in NO animation between the frames.
I'd like to do some animation in photoshop, especially frame to frame animation. (such as editing images from stop motion)
But I'd like to import big quantities of images to a psd file, and which each image would automatically be imported to 1 different layer. Is it possible to do that?
The photos are fairly too high resolution to export as video (3456x 2034) so i don't want to make a video out of them and import the video sequence...
I want to key frame animate something to go in a straight line but it seems to start out slowly, speed up, and then slow down again at the end. Is there a way to make it so the object moves the same speed throughout?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI need to slow down a clip of video from its original frame rate. The original video is a piece of CCTV footage and is timelapse with a frame rate of 3fps and a total duration of 22 secs. I need to slow this footage down to create a slomo clip. can this be done in CS5ext?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to make a very simple animation in CS3, basically an object moving from one side of a picture to the other. I have done this before in earlier versions of photoshop by placing my object, making a frame, moving the object, making a second frame, and then tweening the two. However, when I move my object in CS3 it moves the object in all frames, not just the one I have selected.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have tried multiple times now to download a trial for Photoshop CS6 Extended. Everyone says that the CS6 trial is already the extended version and only changes based on your serial number at purchase but every time I try to open a video project of mine it says "This file contains a timeline-based animation (Photoshop Extended only)"
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a jpeg sequence of 165 frames in my psd animation. Upon export (as an .mov file), I need to keep frames 1-29 and 80-165 as is, but speed up frames 30-79. How can achieve this in PS CS4?Â
Â
I have tried exporting each of the clips individually and then brought them into i Movie to speed up the middle portion and subsequently re-piece them all together. This works great, but I am not familiar enough with i Movie or Premiere Pro to export the file properly; it seems to not allow me to export it with the same specs (mainly size, 1280x1024 at 30fps) as my source files.Â
how to change the frame rate of an imported video in the working animation timeline box.
It automatically imports them as like 33 frames a second.
This is in CS3.
i was doing a frame by frame animation. i already have over 100 drawn out and everything was going fine till i don't know what i did. so here is my current state .the frame still look the same, if i select a frame it shows the currect layer configuration on the canvas, but the layer pallette shows all my my layers as visible. selecting other frames does not change the layer palette even though the frame changes.also, i cannot edit any of the layers. i don't get any errors but nothing happens. if i start a new layer i can't draw on it either. this is cs5 on mac.

I have checked the looping option to 'Once', but when I play it or place it in an email it loops forever. It only plays once when I open it in the web browser, or when I preview it in Photoshop.

For some reason I cannot choose between Video Timeline & Frame Animation in the Timeline window. I do not know why, I've looked in the Timeline panel options, still nothing.
Whenever I try to upload a video clip, it only shows in timeline format and when I try to convert it to frame animation, it says "The video will not play back in frame animation."

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is an annoying issue within photoshop. I am working on an animation for a video and when I try to change the position of a charater on a new frame it also changes the positioning on all of the frames previous of it.

I am making a walk cylcle and I want the character to walk from one end of the screen to the nextl but, when I make a new frame, move him to the opposite end of the screen on a NEW FRAME it changes the previous frames position to match the current one I am on.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a mid-2011 Mini with 8 GB memory and a 1 TB 3rd party drive that I installed. It's the i7 processor, 2.7 GHz. All has been well for months now, until a week ago or so when I suddenly get these two messages upon trying to open PS: "Could not open a scratch file because the disk is not available," and "Could not open a scratch file because the disk is not available." I opened the machine yesterday to check the connector from the HD to the unit, put it back togther, and still no luck.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have created a new PSD file and worked on it and finally saved the file, but now i can't open the file any more. PS always fails to open the file, because of an internal error.
I have tried to open some other PSD files, but 3 of 4 files (on my current HDD) didn't work to open and i don't know why. All of those other PSD files are at least 1 month old and PS could open these files. The last time i have opened these files was two weeks ago. The one PSD file, that worked has the following properties:
image: 1179x1528, 72ppi,8bit,RGB, 15,04 MB
and the files that don't work have the following properties:
image1: 454x340, 71ppi, 16bit, RGB, sRGB (profile), 1,17 MB
image2: 1280x1024, 71ppi, 8bit, RGB, sRGB, 1,92 MB
image3: 1191x1644, 71ppi, 16bit, RGB, sRGB, 12,02 MB
I have got, the meta-data out of Adobe Bridge. I can see the preview Image and the thumbnails in the open-dialog of PS. I tried to open the file with other applications like Paintshop Pro and PhotoImpact and both couldn't open them. Paintshop Pro quits, because it doesn't support the "color model".
I don't know, what else i can do to open these files. I looked around the forum but couldn't find any solution for my problem.
Let's say that I make a nice volume of clouds, then just freeze it in a particularly good state. How do I go about it to reference that particular frame (only one cache file) across the entire animation?
Other plugins that can produce realistic clouds?
I just downloaded a trial for 3Ds Max 2014, and am now trying to render an animation. My problem occurs when the first frame has been rendered. It just stops there.I can close everything except the rendering window, where the "total animation" is empty but "current task" is full.
Â
Why it just stops rendering?I have set the render setup for a specific range and set it to save the animation as an avi file.
I'm trying to open .3DS files in Photoshop CS6 extended, but it is giving me the error message: "could not complete your request because 3d functionality is currently disabled due OpenGL being disabled". At first it opened a few files and worked fine, then it just stopped opening them and now only displays the error message.
