View 6 RepliesI have just loaded X4 (previously used VS 11.5 Plus); however, I can not seem to get the sound working properly inside the X4 program. My sound card is fine and when I play/select the individual files using windows explorer they all play fine. Is there a global mute setting that I have to turn off/on?
Also, I have a lot of audio, transitions(burger, etc) and animation files from VS 11.5+ that I would like to make available in X4. How you upload these file into X4? How to load the Bonus Audio content that came with X4 (animal, cartoon, etc)...
I am preparing a video of our dog and would like to have paw prints that move across the title clip. I thought I could do this in Painting Creator but not sure how to insert an image.
I am using VS Pro X4.
Considering the use of sequences of still images (e.g. created through vector software as Corel Draw), whether “VideoStudio Pro X4” is able to make the following kind of animation?
Apple Keynote Animation [URL]
If yes, which are the name of techniques/resources to be employed?
I'm currently evaluating the product. I like most of what I see, but I do have one major issue - animation of text. You can't use the transitions on the text because they effect the entire screen, not just the text, blacking out the main video. The text animations only have a few types that allow entry and exits. Which mean that the text can pop-up, but only disappear at the end. This seems to be a major oversite in an otherwise stellar product. I use pinicle now, which is nowhere near as nice in most aspects, but in pinicle I can slide text on and curl off or any other combo I choose. Way better.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to create a movie with Corel Video Studio Pro with imported images that I have created in a 3D program! The framerate should be 24frames/second in the movie but it looks like
I can only get down to a image speed of 0.1 second or 10 frames/second by editing each images and then reduce duration time. Is it impossible to get the duration time to 0.0417 that is about a speed of 24 frames/second? If it is impossible maybe something for the wishlist to the future!
Next quistion is is it possible to somewhere in the settings change the duration time for images so you don't need to edit each images each time! It can be hard if you have over 400 images to edit!
I am thinking of purchasing VideoStudio pro X3, but I can't seem to find out from the website if it will do exactly what I need.
I want to use an image sequence of an animation created in Lightwave 3D, bring it into VideoStudio and then create a BluRay disc with it on. I am hoping to do this in one go rather than convert it to a movie file first.
I'm trying to create a text animation to come in from right to left and then pause, but because it does not fill the whole width of the screen it only starts from the centre of the screen. How can I get it to enter from the edge ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAt the moment I am creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint and exporting them as movies and then into Videostudio. I am also using Powerpoint for written content, such as slides. This is fine for basic informational type videos but obviously it's very limiting.
Before I bought Videostuido I used Animoto for a while and that creates some very nice movements and effects. I'd like to be able to do the same. Recommend an entry level animation package?
Is there a way to adjust individual animation parameters ( i.e. zoom speed, hold up time, disappearing time etc.) for predefined titles in X5?
I cannot find any of such control neither under options or attributes tabs.
I added a flash animation as an overlay track but cannot get it to extend further than the original animation length, I am trying to have the animation as a background throughout the video.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nikon D3100 camera and I am trying to use it to make stop animation movies. When I plug it in via USB I can import videos/photos to my computer, etc...so it is recognized. However, when I try to use it in VideoStudio X4 the only option I get is a webcam. Are there any special drivers I need to make this work? I have searched google a bit, but maybe I am missing something. I am using the trial version of the program to try and get things worked out before I actually purchase it. The software looks wonderful for stop animation so I really want to make this work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm new to Video Studio and new to the forum after downloading the trial of X5. Want to know how to move and scale a graphic such as a jpeg across the screen along an animation path - iE; I have a picture of an object that starts at one point in the top left hand corner which I can animate to grow bigger and move to the bottom of the screen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThough I am a long time CorelDraw user I've recently download VideoStudio Pro trial. The problem I am having is importing a sequence of animation images (360 total at 30frames/sec) The images where render and exported from Lightwave3D (jpg)
The only way I found to import the images was through the capture button and that worked fine. Once that was done imported VS editor and exported to several formats...
the problem is the sequence is choppy and not smooth it is a wee bit choppy the 30 frames/sec imports fine but the final play back is not smooth as it should be. If I export directly to video from Lightwave the playback is smooth. I'd render direct from LW but LW is is a wee bit wonky at time when writing direct to video format. LW prefers direct to image then you would composite in a 3rd party program
I tried VS video at 60 frames, 15 frames that made no difference at all the same unsmooth playback
How do I import a sequence of images at 30/sec so then export so that the playback is smooth.
I have max 2014 and the issue i'm encountering is using the merge import. When doing the merge everything goes smooth except the actual merged file I downloaded and installed the service pack but it's still not working. All i'm trying to merge is my eyeball file that's already set up with sliders and constraints.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been having a persistent problem with a project I am working on. The project is a 3d animation, the objects in which were made in Maya 2011. When I started animating things in 2012 it was all working fine, but then one day it stopped saving my edits on some files.
On these uneditable files the objects cannot be deleted, saying they are parented. If I move something, save, then reopen the object will be in its original position.
New files, all done the same way with 2012 on the same computers are editing fine, but I still need to adjust some things in these old ones. Is there a way I can unlock these scenes so I can edit them? It would be lovely if I didn't have to do those frames all over again.
When I save, no error messages come up. However loading the files gives the log quite a bit to say.

How do I go about converting MOV files into DV or mpeg files to edit? When I import the files are choppy I downloaded the quicktime, dvx and direct x files. No success.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have two different files that contain data at greatly different scales. I'd like to render out each sequence and composite seamlessly. Is there any easy way to match the movement of two cameras in files that contain data of vastly different scales? I'd rather not merge data. I'd like to animate the camera in one file, merge the camera into the other file and scale the movement up.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have created three files that animate ribbons flowing through a space. I need to merge them into one file to animate. The problem that I am having is that when I try to move the object the different ribbons start skewing and going in all crazy directions. Is there a way to move the object and it maintain it's values and not morph around?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I load a set of files into RAM Player they do not always fully load. In two separate instances 1381 frames have loaded (in todays example there are 1921 frames rendered in the set).
I guessed that stopping at 1381 frames on two occasions was a bit curious and maybe thought the memory limit was not set high enough. I increased this but no change.
I've got a short animation that I'd like to export, mainly because it's faster to use the tween function than manually adjusting my picture and saving every frame manually. Anyway, it doesn't look like Photoshop allows you to save animations in the Targa format and keep the alpha layer that I need in each individual frame. How I might go about either exporting the animation and keeping the alpha layer, or finding some way to work around this without having to manually copy the alpha layer to each individual frame by hand after I export it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy current workflow is to use 3ds max to render image sequences of animation, then to use Media Encoder to convert them to mov files using the Quicktime Animation codec. The problem is that using these clips in Premiere prevents me from scrubbing the sequence timeline fluidly, even tho all of the files are being accessed from a Thunderbolt drive on a Macbook Pro. Even opening them in the Quicktime player causes sluggish playback. The images rendered are 1280x720. Because of the animation being frame based, I need the derived video to not drop frames like some codecs do, so the Quicktime Animation codec prevents that and it preserves the alpha channel in the images. So my question is, what can I do to improve this so that scrubbing the timeline becomes fluid?

One can get the pawl to track the ratchet wheel surface OK but there seems to be nothing to stop the ratchet wheel going in both directions, contrary to real life experience. I have used transitional constraints to link pawl surfaces with ratchet wheel surfaces but there seems to be no drive constraint which will operate in this circumstance.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy current goal is to specify the rotation and translation of an object using a text file full of numbers. I have been told that I should import a "move" file. However, I can't seem to find any kind of reference about the move file format or how to use it. I see in the import dialog box that there is a file type called "move" but I don't know how to format the data that I put into the "move" file.
Also, I tried to export a "move" file so I could take a look at what Maya generates, but I keep getting the error "// Error: Could not save file "C:/My Documents/maya/projects/body_in_ocean/scenes/examplemove.mov".
I created a group with my object in one file, referenced it in my working file, moved the group around and set some keys in the working file, but I can't seem to export any move data. How to get this to work?

Just got a Kodak si8 video camera for my bday... It records in MOV - I am able to open them up and I get through the whole video - 7 minutes... then I go back to clip some areas and the sound gets choppy!?? If I save - close the program and open up again -- I get the sound AOK again ???
What is this about?
I have rigged a character and made it into a character set in which i have locked the scaling attribute , I have then saved this file. I have then referenced this file and and have done a walk cycle animation and saved this file. I have then realised that I needed the scaling attribute when I have added other parts of my scene. Is there a way to unlock the scaling attribute in my walk cycle animation file or will i have to go back and change it in the rigged file, create a new character set and do the walk cycle animation again?

Position Style Opacity
What I would like to know, is: How can I animate rotation of a layer? I want to rotate my layer at an angle and animate it. But when I rotate, the first animation frame is also rotated, resulting in NO animation between the frames.
