VideoStudio :: Can't Find Any Transition Downloads
Jan 24, 2011I'm a fairly new user to Video Studio - started with X2 version 12, which had 30+ mask type transitions. I used these mask transitions the most for my editing. I recently upgraded to Pro X3 and now only have 6 mask transitions.
I have searched the corel site, this site, and the Get More feature in X3 - but can't find any transition downloads anywhere. The only options available in Get More are titles and templates (styles). I still have files from X2 on my computer - which folder transitions are kept in or what file type they are? I might be able to track the specific files down and move them over to my X3 files.I've only been using X3 for a few days and I'm ready to go back to X2!
VideoStudio :: Video File Format For Downloads
Feb 21, 2011I'm using Video Studio Pro X2 on XP.
I have a personal website and upload video files for people to download. My videos are around 45-60 mins long and I save them using MPEG optimizer usually, resulting in file sizes of around 2GB. These files take a long time to download, and I have to upload them overnight. I've downloaded video files of around 60 mins in duration from other sites which have been only 500MB in size. These tend to be WMV files 25bit with frame size around 640 x 480 and bit rate of around 1122fbps, frame rate 25fps.
Is this the best format for achieving a compromise between quality and file size? The WMV options un custom are much smaller frame sizes, where can I find the right option? Is there a better format available in the custom menu?

Oct 5, 2010i am getting some trouble when i want to convert my video (sharing process) after the treatment .the original video that i use is AVI format and when i want to share the video, i save it under AVI format too but the file that i got is bigger that the original one( and when i edited the movie i didn't add any new sequences).

VideoStudio :: Keeping Original Video Properties When Sharing
Jul 17, 2011I have a HD mov file. When I drag it into my timeline I don't get a message to match the project properties to the file type even with the correct preference. I understand that with the mov file type this doesn't work in X4 anyway. Anyway, after a bit of trimming I want to create a file with exactly the same specifications as the original.
I obviously cant use same as project settings option. For some reason I do not have the same as first clip option either. So how do I tell X4 to keep the original file properties when creating a new file?
Photoshop :: No Desktop CC Downloads Available?
Jun 18, 2013When I signed up for the Cloud, the desktop application manager for CC wasn't installed on my computer, so now, when I try to update or install something new (Photoshop CC for instance), I get a message to do it from my desktop. Since I don't have the Cloud application on my desktop, I can't do this!

Oct 27, 2008I bought Photoshop CS3 and have a photography studio. I have 4 computers to do my editing on and when I tried to dowload the program to the last computer it says that I have reached my maximum amount of downloads or something like that. It won't let me register it and it tells me that I have to de-activate one of them to register the last computer. Am I going ot have to go out and actually purchase yet another copy of PS CS3 to have it on that other computer? Is there a discounted price or do I actually have to pay full price to add it to one more computer?

Aug 19, 2008I can download and install PS CS3 (as well as Illustrator, Dreamweaver etc) just fine...
but when I launch the app and select the option to start the trial, I get an ambiguous error message saying that...
"A problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period for Adobe Photoshop CS3
Click Quit to see if restarting you computer or reinstalling the software..."
so I did both, and I still get the error.
I need this trial version as a bridge for the next month before pulling the trigger on the full suite;
Illustrator :: Vector Downloads Are Not Supported On Device
Jan 3, 2014When I try to download a vector image from the site , when i select a vector image i get the folllowing message: "Vector downloads are not supported on this device".I have adobe creative suite 5.5 installed and my computer is a windows 8 OS on a HP TouchSmart computer.how i can get these images "supported" on my device?
Shutterstock information tells me that i should be able to download these files -- but i continue to get this error message.

Nov 1, 2012I've created a 23-minute video I want to burn to DVD in VS Pro 5...
At the point where I select BURN in the burning process, I get hit with a message telling me that my working folder path "may not have enough space" to allowing burning. The message advises me to change the working folder path in Preferences to enable burning. The message notes the working folder path as C:Users[My initials]DocumentsCorel Video Studio Pro15.0...
That path does exist on Drive C (where there's only around 5 Gig of space left), but when I go into Preferences to change the working folder, Preferences shows it having a path on Drive F (where there's 1.47 Terrabytes of space!)
So, how can I change the working folder path to Drive F from Drive C, when the project Preferences show the working folder path to be on Drive F, the the program itself claims the path to be on Drive C (and a search shows such a path)?
I'm running under Windows 7 Home Premium.

Oct 5, 2012the batch conversion tool can't handle long file names as generated by the Windows Live Photo Gallery import tool. I was shocked (dismayed?) to see that my brand new X5 doesn't import DV as nicely as this free MS tool (as an aside). Here is an example filename: "Tape05 2001-01-02 14.05.33.avi". It stumbles on the first '.' it finds. Luckily it does not overwrite files that end up having the same name because of this truncation but still. Come on now. Path manipulation is junior engineer programming 101.
The batch convert also does not remember the target directory last used. At least default it to the source directory, right?Unlikely to be fixed, I know, but maybe it'll go on the list for X6.

May 27, 2008I'm trying to share the Skintones swatch from Illustrator to Photoshop. I selected it, saved it for exchange to the desktop and hit the Load Swatches button on the swatches palette in Photoshop. I get the little spinning Vista thing but that's it. Photoshop looks for .aco and, of course, the swatches are saved as .ase. Changing the file format to include .ase doesn't seem to do anything and the swatches don't show up in the list of libraries.
Is it possible that the skintones swatch is one of the many that CS2 won't share?

AutoCAD LT :: Sharing One Account On 360?
Aug 2, 2012We would like to be able to store all of our drawings on the Autodesk 360 cloud but have two users in different locations and want to share a common account. We already have two separate accounts with our 2004LT but that requires each of us to set up sharing for the other, notification, etc. If we purchase two seats of 2013 AutoCAD LT can we both use the automatic save (to 360) with the same account user name and password? 25GB of storage with one subscription is plenty for our needs but the main objective is that all of our files would be in the same account and there wouldn't be any chance of us having slightly different versions of the same file in two different accounts.
If one guy is logged into the account will that prevent the other from gaining access until the first one signs off? I saw something on Autodesk's site saying they were working on being able to combine cloud units but they don't have it yet. I don't know if this would also allow combining separate subscriptions?

Sep 3, 2012I need to send a drawing to a client but don't want them to be able to edit it, but want them to be able to xref into their drawings.
I have added the dwg to autodesk 360 but it does not show any of the xref files (it has 8 and they are necessary).
I cant seem to work out how to DWF, can you save as dwf in infinite model space or does it always come out as a layout? I would like if I could save it as a dwf and for it to function like a dwg in model space.
GIMP :: Sharing Selection Via A File?
Mar 1, 2013I want a selection to persist between sessions, so I guess my only option is the filesystem.
What I do is as follows: create a selection, save it as a channel and then save the whole xcf file ( I learned elsewhere save it as a png but my 2.8 will NOT let me do that; the only way to save a png is via export). Then I close this file and open another one, then Open As Layers the file just saved hoping for my selection to appear in the Channels list, but obviuosly that will not happen. On the other hand if I open the former file standalone, the saved selection IS present.
